Granite counter tops, A/C throughout, and a second bathroom in the main bedroom. The second bath has a door out to the pool area for easy access. This charming 2-bedroom home is on a huge lot with big lawn, gorgeous pool and partial view of the ocean. Big french doors let in the breeze. Fully equipped kitchen, free Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, and charming Mexican decor. The second bedroom can be made up as a king bed or two singles. The master bedroom is a brand-new king bed.

I had am amazing stay at this villa. The place was well taken care of. It was clean and had everything you might need. The property was beautiful with great views. The office was across the street and was verry helpful with information about local culture and also booking transportation and tours. It was also really nice to have bicycles to zip into town or just to ride a few blocks down to the coffee shops and restaurants.

This perfectly cozy home is ideally situated a just a few blocks from the beach and a 5 minute bike ride from town. The place was clean and beds were comfortable (although I must say the pillows were too lofty for our liking). Very quiet neighborhood with the rental agency just right across the street who were ready to answer questions and refill our drinking water supply daily. This was a perfect laid back location for us, although if you want more action it's minutes away. We usually spent the mornings by the pool, then used one of 2 nearby public access points and enjoyed the beach. We did not find it necessary to pay for space at the beach. The private beach clubs are all just the sands closest to the resort/club, but all sand in front of that is up for grabs. The house came with beach towels, bags and chairs. All just couldn't be easier.Oh my goodness, don't get me started on the restaurants! From the least expensive (Blue Morelos) to our nicest place (La Sarina) to everything in between we were not disappointed. Such hospitality everywhere. We purchased breakfast/lunch items at Super Chedraus which is a very nice store, but no bargains there.My only tip would be if us US dollars, do your own conversion. If you leave it up to them it won't work in your favor! We used mostly credit cards and some dollars. It's handy to have some pesos on hand for purchasing goodies on the beach from the respectful people selling their wears. My favorite was the fresh cut mango and homemade empanadas.We felt 100% safe our entire stay in Puerto Morelos. There is definitely a laid back vibe in this town. We look forward to coming back!

This is my second visit to PM, the first being in 2012. Both times, I booked through Abbey del Sol. I can highly recommend their properties and staff. Casa Anita is a beautiful property. It is very clean and well-maintained. Its large yard filled with colourful birds, a giant ceiba tree and gorgeous, landscaped garden is a delight to relax in. The pool is clean and the perfect size for our family of four (kids 11 and 14 years) to enjoy daily. If we didn't feel like the pool, with a short 5 minute walk from the house, the Caribbean Sea. The home comes with foldable chairs and beach bags to use while you are visiting. Casa Anita is tastefully decorated, spacious and comes with a well-appointed kitchen if you choose to self-cater your stay. Clean drinking water is provided as needed at no additional cost. Beds were comfortable and each room has a fan and air conditioning. The Abbey del Sol staff are fantastic. They are immediately responsive, easily accessible, friendly and offer local information to enhance your stay. We were able to fully relax at Casa Anita, feeling peaceful, safe and well looked after while at the same time able to have our own space and privacy. We loved having access to the bikes to explore town, and did so daily. With easy access to the grocery store in town, as well as countless dining options both in PM port-side and La Colonia (an easy 10 minute taxi ride from Casa Anita), you truly have everything you need to enjoy all that this beautiful area of Mexico offers. We made some great family memories here.

We recently spent 16 days at Casa Anita. The bedrooms and bathrooms are quite spacious. The kitchen, dining and living space is not large but quite usable for 2 people. And we absolutely love the outdoor space. The pool, pool deck, and side yard are just a wonderful area to hang out in. The house is well maintained, the yard and pool cleaned every 2-3 days. The Abbey Del Sol staff are just across the street and so helpful. The house is in a quiet area of town with just a 1 block walk to the nearest beach club and about 6-8 block walk to get to most restaurants. This year there was a stray cat who has been hanging around the house for the past few months and we were happy to continue feeding her and have her be part of our vacation experience!

We had an excellent experience with Abbey del Sol and their vacation property, Casa Anita. The kitchen was well equipped and the water ran hot (both not a guarantee with vacation rentals!). We enjoyed the outdoor space after our mornings at the beach. Bikes were an added bonus and provided quick access to town for grocery shopping or dinner. Casa Anita was extremely clean in all the nooks and crannies - impressive for such a large space! The Abbey del Sol office is located across the street and staff were friendly and genuinely helpful in making arrangements (taxis, laundry, etc.) - thank you Mary and the Abbey del Sol team. This was our first time to Puerto Morelos. We were a bit hesitant since we know some others areas well. However, we booked Casa Anita and of course, the pictures looked great.Communication with staff before the trip was great.We arrived at night and the home was perfect for us. The place is clean, beds comfortable, and the pool is great!We enjoy cooking and the kitchen had enough pots, pans, cups, etc.Sitting by the pool in the a.m. watching the sunrise was amazing.Casa Anita has a very nice and private yard on a quiet street away from the noise of town (even though there is not much noise in Puerto Morelos overall).The staff was great, friendly, and were very helpful.This home is not cheap but compared to other places and cities we've staying from Playa to Tulum, this is clean and comfortable.We had 2 bikes and they were great for heading into town, quick trip to the store, etc.Our kids loved that we had a pool and they enjoyed the private yard where we could have some downtime, swim, read, and play futbol.We will for sure come back to Casa Anita!

Absolutely incredible vacation rental. Perfectly situated 1 block from the beach at the end of town. You can walk into the city center along the water or take the provided bicycles. The staff are amazing and extremely attentive. The house is well equipped with everything you need to cook and enjoy your stay. We loved our stay at Casa Anita! The house is everything described and more! The pool and yard are beautiful and well cared for. The location is on a quiet street, just on block from the beach. There are a couple of beach clubs right there where you can rent chairs with umbrellas for around 250 pesos or 14-15 USD. We also loved being just a short walk or bike ride to so many eateries! We will be back for sure!

We loved everything about it. A great family getaway. I’d have no hesitation recommending this to family and friends. The property was like a self-contained paradise. It was well kept and just so beautiful. The house was so comfortable and had everything we needed (including a well equipped kitchen).
It was a short walk to the beach that gave you a feel of what it would be like to live there. We absolutely loved it.

This is second time staying at Casa Anita and we just LOVE this place! It is so comfortable in so many ways. We love the aesthetic value of the home. We love the added space in the lush garden and the covered porch. We got stuck with some rainy days, and to have all of this space makes a difference if you can't get out on the beach as much. And this end of town is very quiet as well but just a block or so to the beach. I will miss sitting out by the pool looking out at the garden each night... Staff and owners were so great to work with in many ways! Muchas Gracias!

We stayed at Casa Anita for 16 nights. It was a great little house and suited our needs perfectly. The bedrooms were spacious with comfy beds and plenty of closet space and hangers. The bathrooms were large too and had beautiful Mexican sinks and tile. The kitchen/dining/living space was not that large but was certainly enough for the 2 of us. The kitchen was well supplied and the living room furniture was new and comfortable. The tv was new and if you wanted to watch tv you could get 413 different USA channels! The wifi was strong and fine for our needs. What was the best, though, was the outside space. A lovely pool area with new lounge chairs plus a table with 4 chairs plus a stunning side yard filled with beautiful plants and trees and more lounge chairs to sit in the shade. The pool is not heated but in March with the sun shining on it all day, the water was a very comfortable temperature. There was a family of iguanas who lived in the yard that we saw daily and many, many birds that we watched and listened to for hours. Even a coatimundi made an appereance once or twice. Because the yard and pool area were so lovely, we never even went to the beach club which was just 2 blocks away. The breezes that came into the backyard were just heavenly on the hot days we had. There were 2 bikes to use if you didn’t want to walk the 6-8 blocks into town for shopping or eating. The staff at Abbey Del Sol was right across the street to answer questions, bring more water, etc. The house was cleaned twice while we were there and the yard and pool were maintained frequently. Thanks Mary, Jin, Hugo and housecleaning staff for making our stay so wonderful. We will be back!

I’ve never stayed at a cottage/condo that was equipped so well. We cooked some breakfast there and had everything we needed. Having our own pool was fantastic and we spent most of our days lounging by it. The furniture and the bed was so comfortable and having a few bikes at our disposal was fun for a few rides around town. It was also nice and quite at night. One of the best things was that the side yard garden. It was so pleasant and a haven for some of the local birds. We would lounge in the pool and listen to the bird song every afternoon. The Casa is also just a block from the beach and about a 10 minute walk to all the restaurants. Jin and Nancy at Abbey del Sol were wonderful and quick to respond to anything that we needed. We will definitely be back again in the future.

Wonderful! Casa Anita was gorgeous, we could not have chosen better. Jin and Mariela obviously have a servants heart! They went above and beyond to make sure we had all we wanted and needed. Puerto Morales is great, sweet locals, safe, beautiful with amazing food. We have discussed investing there. We will return!

My husband and I stayed for 10 nights at Casa Anita. The property was well maintained, the house was spacious (could easily fit two couples), the kitchen was well stocked with appliances/gadgets, and the pool was perfect. We used the bikes to get into town or did the easy15 minute walk to restaurants, shops and the grocery store. The location is at the far end of town so it’s quiet and feels safe. We booked our airport transportation through Abbey del Sol so that made it easy when we showed up. They also gave us suggestions on cenote tours and helped set up the taxi ride to Zapote Cenote. We had a great time!
