High Meadows to Cold Creek Trail- from house follow High Meadows Road uphill. You will arrive at a meadow with a creek running through it, at this point, you will reach the junction with the Cold Creek Trail. You will begin following this trail back towards the trailhead. The Columbine Trail Connector detours off Cold Creek back to the start. The area is popular with mountain bikers, so expect plenty of cyclists on the trail.

Fallen Leaf Lake via Sand Harbor Trail- Near Fallen Leaf Campground takes you to the shore of Fallen Leaf Lake and back on a relatively flat trip with little elevation gain.
South Lake Tahoe Highway 50 Trail: Recreation Area to Stateline - This route consists of paved trails and ends at some lovely meadows. It has nice views of the lake and forest. Accessibility: There are at least 4 designated accessible spaces in the large paved parking lots off of Lake Tahoe Boulevard at the southwest end of the trail
Panther, Tahoe Mountain, Angora Ridge, and High School Loop- This route begins on the Panther Trail. You'll follow Tahoe Mountain Trail and Angora Ridge along the east side of Tahoe Mountain and back down.
Fallen Leaf Lake via Panther and Truckee Marsh Loop- All-season loop is done in a "figure 8" shape. You'll begin by heading towards Fallen Leaf Lake via the Panther Trail.

The Pope Estate, built in 1894, is open for guided tours and houses changing art exhibits. Valhalla is a Grand Hall with beautiful wood floors, an open wood beam ceiling, a balcony of lodge pole construction and a 20 foot high stone fireplace! It was built in 1923 and is now the site of summer concerts, the Cultural Arts Gift Store and is available for rental. The Tahoe Tallac Association, in conjunction with the USDA Forest Service, is committed to restoring these estates and opening them to the public.
