Heritage property in ‘The’ area of Constanta

For those who like combining style, culture and tradition in one stay, then this is the ideal choice. The hotel is a heritage property sympathetically restored to its former glory and beyond during which no expense has been spared: quality hard wooden flood, wrought iron staircase, well-fitted themed pictures, and beautiful antique accessories. The rooms follow the same heritage style decor complimented by modern technology of a discreet ambient lighting and a quiet air con unit. The extra-light bed is incredibly comfortable. Bedding and towels are changed twice a week, and the generous vanity kit when and as needed. From booking the room until our departure, the General Managers proactively and diligently ensured our customer needs were met in a timely and professional manner.

O experiența românească

Ca puncte forte: 1.locație ultra centrală,chiar in Piața Ovidiu aproape de restaurante,plaja,port Tomis 2.pat mare confortabil/lenjerie calitativa 3.cafea și apa/dacă nu alimentau in fiecare zi,găseai in lobby cafea și apa free. 4.personalul hotelului receptiv 5.camera a fost spațioasă și răcoroasă Am stat in camera 17,vederea era spre parcarea unui bloc ceea ce ne-a ajutat,am avut liniște comparativ cu celelalte camere care au vedere spre piața/terase

Ca puncte slabe: 1.Hotelul colaborează cu restaurantul Argo/in prima zi le-a luat o ora sa faca un simplu mic dejun, pe langa asta comanda a fost gresita, baiatul care a luat comanda ,pretinde ca nu e ospătar, se ducea cu comenzile la masa gresita non-stop.Nu am primit cafea și croissant deși am cerut de 10 ori.Apa ne a fost adusă la final după multe insistente,însă intr-o cana murdara. 2.Curățenia in camera,deși am stat 4 nopți nu ne-au fost schimbate prosoapele deși era necesar și cearșaful de pat deși era pătat de bebelina noastră,nici acesta nu a fost înlocuit.Intrau in camera doar pt gunoi,însă intr una din zile au uitat sacul cu gunoi la intrarea in camera și am fost nevoiți sa ducem singuri gunoiul.

Kein Zimmerservice (Reinigung) während des gesamten dreitägigen Aufenthaltes, das geht gar nicht!

One of the, if not The Best Place to stay while in Constanta

5 stars rooms: I really did not expect for the rooms to look this good. I booked a superior king room and it was clean, stilish, very modern looking. It had 3 huge windows and the view was directly to Ovidiu's square which was a pleasant surprise since the square was filled every night with people and street events. The bed and the pillows were extremely confortable. Also to mentioned that super cozy shell-chair. Location 5 stars: in the middle of the Old Town where all the terraces are. Close to 3-4 beaches and close to Constanta's old Casino landmark. Service 5 stars: The host was amazing, very friendly, polite. Breakfast was delicious. Definitely recommend it, especially the superior king room.

The TV could not connect to the internet.

Worst night I can recall

Location indeed was amazing.

Air conditioning did not work, and we did not find out until we arrived at the property and checked in. Big mistake to believe that can open the windows to get some fresh air. There was music until late, followed by very noisy seagulls.

We booked 2 rooms. They were super clean and comfortable

The air conditioning was broken, so it was really hot. But they apologised about that when we did a check out 🤷‍♂️

Not really a hotel, more of a guesthouse

The manager, Adriana, was what made this an outstanding stay! She is super service oriented, friendly, and a problem solver. The room was refurbished in an excellent manner .

Hard to find. Cannot drive directly to it and roads are very confusing. Then, when you arrive at dark it is really hard to find the front door. It really isn't a hotel, but more of a guesthouse. The owner should consider buying the restaurant below and converting it into a main hotel entrance, front desk, and small restaurant. Bathroom needs more shelf/counter space for your own toiletries.

Great rooms, big, nice furniture and very clean

Restaurant is crap, no room service, it took the waiters 45 minutes to bring the breakfast to the table, both days we were there. Reception is only open until 19.00. so we had to wait for 35 minutes until somebody opened.

My house in Constanta from now on.

Breakfast was perfect with various options. After telling I can not eat ham, they served chicken ham, which was a very kind gesture. The room I stayed was one of the most clean and tidy rooms I have ever stayed. High ceiling and wide windows let the use of day light very brilliantly. The bathroom is also very large and every need of a visitor has been placed. Air condition system awas very strong and never let me feel the hot or moisture of the weather. The staff is very friendly, hardworking and disciplined. Manager of the hotel Ms. Adriana is also very helpful person and doing anything she can for the guests of the hotel. This hotel is a real "casa" which lets you feel the comfort of your house adn bedroom, even more.

Exceptional

Great location right in the Piata Ovidiu in Constanta; a couple of minutes walk to the harbour and to the Modern Beach. Although the square outside is crowded during evenings, they have good noise cancelling windows, so you could have barely hear the noise after you closed the windows. A lot of good restaurants to choose from in the area, but I highly recommend the restaurant downstairs (Chernomorka - a Ukrainian fish restaurant) - with amazing fresh fish, with plenty of options. In the same restaurant the breakfast was served - just a couple of options with the breakfast but something that will satisfy any taste. The staff was very friendly - they helped us out with receiving an early check in and we could leave our baggage (in the reception area) after our check, while we were still in the city. Also good wi-fi connection, the room was clean, so all in all nothing to complain about!
