We enjoyed our stay at the cabin, with its quiet neighborhood, comfortable rooms, and proximity to Dodge Ridge.

We had such an amazing time at the Woodsy Retreat, we will definitely be returning. The cabin itself was super clean and had such a warm and cozy feeling, perfect sleding area just by the fire pit outside our kids had a blast, coming back inside to the warm wood stove was perfect. Really nice neighborhood we enjoyed several walks and enjoyed the big selection of movies at night, highly recommend the Woodsy Retreat for your next vacation.

Midweek in this cabin community was absolutely peaceful! Stars and shooting stars spectacular. The cabin is gorgeously appointed and completely outfitted. Thank you for sharing!

Relaxing and quiet

Clean and comfortable! The bed was beyond comfortable! I was asleep before my head hit the pillow. Would love to stay there again!!

We could not have been happier with the Woodsy Retreat! Starting with our reservation and great communication with our hosts, our trip was absolutely perfect. Gina and Keith have created a perfect retreat. It’s just as cute and well-appointed as it looks in the photos, and has everything in terms of kitchen supplies and other household amenities that you could hope for. (We were so glad to be able to do laundry!) The beds are incredibly luxurious and comfortable—perfect for afternoon naps! The cabin is perfectly located for nice walks around the Cold Springs area without getting in your car—and then local attractions like Mia’s and Pinecrest Lake are just a short drive away. Also, during a winter of record snow, it was so wonderful to have the parking area plowed out in advance. We just had to show up! Absolutely wonderful trip—we will definitely be staying her again!

Nice little cabin that was close to the ski hill.

This was our second time staying here we enjoy it so much. Our family of four (kids ages 10 and 7) stayed here for three nights, but it was so comfortable and wonderfully located that we could have stayed way longer. The location and neighborhood of the home is perfect. It's quiet, peaceful, beautiful, and very close to Dodge Ridge for skiing in the day, Pinecrest Lake for exploring, and even Twain Harte for groceries and even mini golf and shaved ice (in the summer). Kids made the longest and most epic sled run in the backyard while we could BBQ and read on the deck watching them. There is a perfect table to play games and eat meals together, a nice selection of movies for family movie night, and the most comfortable beds. We would surely come back again.

Clean and cozy cabin close to dodge ridge.

We were very cozy and comfortable in this cabin for the weekend. Our boys loved sledding outside and sleeping on the trundle beds. We got into a car accident on the icy roads and Keith went above and beyond to make sure we got home safely.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin in the snow. It was well described how to get there, get into the property and everything was in order and clean. We were two adults and two young kids (3 and 8 years). Reached the skiing in Dodge Ridge within 15 mins. Parking can be a bit tricky at Dodge Ridge on the weekend when you arrive late. Just keep that in mind. We had dinner once at the pizza place in town - get there early on a weekend - and cooked at the cabin the other night. It was a nice weekend away and we'd come again.

Cabin had all we needed to hunker down while it poured outside. Yahtzee and a great wood burning stove we’re great but top notch pizza within a 5 minute drive was a real bonus. Would stay here again.

This cabin was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was by far the best property we’ve stayed at in pinecrest. Gina and Keith were responsive and proactive on making sure we were comfortable. We loved our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely rent again.

As we were packing to go home, we had a chance to talk about the rental and we decided as senior citizens that this rental was geared more for younger adults and children. and guests who were more interested in the snow season and those outdoor type sports.

We had a comfortable stay. Only complaint is that there were ants in the kitchen and bathroom due to the dry weather however didn’t really bother us. We had a fun quiet weekend trip with the family.

So quiet but close to everything we wanted to do. We hiked to Bear Lake and kayaked at Pinecrest. Super clean and thoughtful cabin decor, with terrific bedding and beds. This was a lovely peaceful cabin in a little development in Cold Springs. We love Pinecrest Lake, and it was only ten minutes down the road (although on summer weekends, get there before the day use lot closes). This was a perfect peaceful place for the four of us (two adults and two kids).

Second stay; this time in summer to visit Pinecrest Lake. Place is always in great shape and relaxing. Pluses - bottle of wine, great deck, easy access to Pinecrest, internet. Minuses- can be a bit warm in summer but there are fans. Overall nice place.

This place was an amazing place to stay in, very clean and the host was very clear about instructions. It was very close to pinecrest lake and restaurants. I would stay again!

Great location not far from the lake. Cabin stays pretty hot but was expected as its mid summer. Host was extremely helpful with quick communication. Overall good stay with few hiccups

This little woodsy retreat was just perfect for a cycling getaway that gave us access to sonora pass, and then a great day of hiking to Chloe's Bath above Pinecrest Lake. Having enough internet to manage the basics and an open kitchen for meal prep made this well appointed cabin both inviting and functional. Even learned a bit about John Muir : )

Went with my teen for a little mental R&R. Loved the deck with the pretty lights and the fire-pit in the back. Kitchen was well stocked and the bottle of wine was so thoughtful! We enjoyed a hike around the lake, a drive up 108, and games on the patio. Thanks for a wonderful few days away.
