Stunning views and well laid out property so that the majority of the rooms have beautiful ocean views. The daily visits of the local Kookaburra’s was something you just cannot plan and pay for. The property had everything we needed and the communication was great. Beds were super comfy which can make or break a holiday. Would highly recommend and the photos of the property don’t really do it justice. Thanks for a great stay.

We had the most wonderful stay at Brent and Suzanna’s place in Wye River. The house was actually even lighter and brighter than the picture with a lovely view of the ocean. The house had everything we needed and more for two families with younge children. There was so much wildlife and birds that came to visit during our stay which our kids loved. The communication was excellent with our hosts. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We have stayed twice and really enjoy it, even if the weather is overcast it is a comfortable house to enjoy beside the fire. The large deck has stunning views. It is an easy walk to the beach if you enjoy hills. Highly recommended.

Being views relaxing environment with all amenities. Just lovely to sit in a comfortable space and enjoy the wonderful environment around us.l, ocean trees bird life. !
Good wine good food and the warmth of the fire. Lots of laughs and stories from our 40 yr friendships we loved our weekend away even went for a swim wetsuits a must !!!

Beautiful spot up above Wye River
Great house with plenty of room for two small families. We loved the view, the bird visits every morning and the fireplace for cosy evenings. The walk up the hill kept us fit! Highly recommended.

Lovely comfortable house with stunning views and a fantastic range of birds visiting the deck. Kitchen very well equipped. Had a very relaxing time !

Well presented home with all the comforts
Very attentive & welcoming hosts, great house with stunning ocean views from living areas, bedrooms and decks, peaceful setting and very well equipped kitchen. It’s obvious this is a loved second home, not just a holiday let and shared with guests, like us.

Friendly Wildlife
Had a very good stay here with the highlight being the visitors that we got on the deck each day.
Only disappointment was the lack of WiFi but there were plenty of games and jigsaws to help fill the void.
The property was very clean and functional and we will be looking to re book for next year.

Amazing Views and Great Host
The property is quaint with a quirky kitchen layout and amazing views of the bay. We saw a mum and baby whale during our stay. The place was nicely furnished and decorated. We loved the fireplace and had a wonderful time during our time in Wye River.
The only downside was no WI-FI and that would be the only reason we wouldn't stay again as my phone didn't work either which meant I had to go to the Telstra Tower to get reception when working on my business.

It was a great set up for our party of six. A cozy house in the rain, but the aircon was great in the heat!

Stunning views, good big lounge area and functional bedrooms.
Fabulous hamlet and beach with great pub (not for food) and general store ( for everything (including great coffee)
Could do with a spring clean and maintenance on fly screens / balcony glass / bbq and better equipped kitchen - eg no small knives .
For the price we felt like linen/ towels should have been provided and generally expected a higher quality fit out.

Lovely views from very comfortable accommodation
Overall experience was really good. Lovely location with great views. House provides very comfortable accommodation . Only negative from our point of view is that there with no Optus reception at all it would be good to have internet facilities available at the property.

Our wonderful family time at That's Wye!
It was a first time for my family to spend quality, peaceful and tranquil time together in such a relaxing beautiful location and "That's Why" certainly ticked all the boxes! Would stay there again in a heartbeat. The bird life is extraordinary and the first time I have fed a kookaburra and a Currawong!! My family loved it as did we. Great views, lovely well equipped beach house with plenty of space for the whole family
We had a great time with the kids at Wye River. The house is great- well presented and comfortable, up on the hill with great view of the ocean as per photos. The kids loved feeding the birds and we all enjoyed the beach at Wye. Very accommodating and hospitable owners.

We had the most amazing stay over the New Year period. The house has brilliant views and is just a short - albeit steep! - walk to the beach, general store and pub. We will be back.
