I always want just one more day at this lovely cottage at the beach! Perfect location, perfect atmosphere, perfectly charming! A two-minute walk to the beach, close to wonderful restaurants of St. Augustine, and such a relaxing home away from home that you can just stay in place and enjoy!

From the very beginning the hosts Carolyn @ Jim were so kind and understanding. Carolyn was so easy to communicate with as she always got back to me with answers almost immediately. The cottage was clean and well stocked we felt very much at home there. We had a great vacation/honeymoon! We are so grateful that they allowed us to stay there. The perfect hosts!!!

This Cottage is awesome it's not big but I tell you it's comfortable it's cozy and it's got more lights than any other place I've stayed at it's got very good friendly atmosphere. Close to the beach and close to Publix what else can you ask for. We enjoy this day and it was very comfortable.

Cute cottage near downtown Vilano. Carolyn was so accommodating. My family loved that it was a quick walk to the beach. Great spot for skim boarding and surfing. A quick car ride to historic St. Augustine area.

Very spacious and great locatio

The artist cottage is a cute little cottage within walking distance to the beach. It was the perfect size for our family of four which includes two girls 6 and 4. The owners are very responsive and the amenities that were listed are accurate. We did experience issues with the WiFi which the owners shared was part of an outage they had experienced. The location was perfect, close to beach and to Publix. The outdoor shower definitely came in handy for the kids! They also loved playing in the little reading nook. My only suggestion (which is a total personal preference) is bring your own pillows! The fluff had gone out of the ones in the master bedroom. Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed the cottage.

We’ve been staying at this sweet beach cottage for 8 years now and it has us coming back year after year! We absolutely love it here and feel completely at home. The owner Carolyn is always super helpful and very responsive. You will not regret staying here!

We have stayed every year at the cottage for several years and love the location and convenience. The owner has installed new A/C that is quite and cool. The cottage is a short walk from the beach and convenient to Publix and a pizza restaurant.

We absolutely loved our stay! The rooms were comfortable, water pressure in the shower was great, and the outside area is perfect for hanging out! The owners were extremely helpful and easy to contact when needed. The cottage was lovely and close to everything. We’ll definitely stay again if we can!

We had such a blast for the week we stayed. The convenience to get to the beach and into town was a blessing for a family of five.

We loved this adorable, quirky little cottage! The location is perfect and the outdoor spaces ideal for morning coffee and late night chats. It was great not to have to bring our own beach chairs, too.

Couldn’t ask for much more. It’s a beautiful old cottage that is right next to the beach. We stayed here with our 4 & 5 year old and they loved the inside and out.

We really loved our stay here and will definitely be back if we come to this area again. The indoor and outdoor spaces were so nice for just relaxing, reading or whatever one enjoys. It is convenient to a grocery store and several nice restaurants too! The vibe is homey and casual and it is very private.

We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the property was, inside ou out. Fenced with lots of room to play, and a roof top with a water view and a hammock. The cottage had everything from spices to candles. Steps from the beach and from Publix and restaurants. Enjoy!

Quaint and adorable. Wish we had more time to enjoy the area. Only had a few things we would change…. The bed was really squeaky, the remote for the AC unit also operated the TV in the bedroom. There was some mold starting on the upper wall of the bathroom. Overall, we would stay again!

Best place we’ve ever stayed! It is so close to the beach, totally dog friendly, fantastic fenced in outdoor space (patios, rooftop deck, shaded outdoor seating). We are planning on returning

We really enjoyed our time at this homey cottage that is just steps from a really lovely beach and a several minute walk from a supermarket. The kitchen had everything you could need and the host thoughtfully provided bath towels as well as beach gear like chairs and umbrella. There were several outdoor spaces (rooftop deck, garden patio) to choose from to eat outside and enjoy the lovely April weather. My ten year old spent hours in the reading nook with her book. We would definitely love to stay here again!

The cottage was fantastic, and we greatly enjoyed our stay. The owner was friendly, quick, and gracious. Our only concern was the number of overloaded outlets and the sizzling and popping lamp. And that all the lights flickered heavily when the fridge would run.

This get-a-way was perfect timing for us. My husband’s step-dad died the morning we were to leave for this trip. We had been on “hospice” watch for weeks and we had decided we would not be going. However, it was decided by our family to delay my FIL’s service and give us all a minute to regroup. This place was the perfect place to rest, relax, reflect, and rejoice. We came home ready for the next steps. My MIL was well cared for and also rested. Life comes at ya hard; so thankful for times to get-away and recharge. This cottage was perfect.

This cozy cottage was perfect for our little family and was so close and convenient to the beach which made beach days so easy with our 2 year old daughter. The weather wasn’t ideal the first 2 days but we made a trip to the beach every day for a quick walk at the least. It was just what we needed! Carolyn was very quick with her responses and made the whole stay stress free which we appreciated very much! We will definitely be back in the future!

Shabby chic cottage very close to beach. I wish we had better weather to enjoy it. Though cottage is small it is fully stocked and perfect for the two of us Description is accurate but be aware NO network TV or cable stations though plenty of movies on Netflix and Prime Shower is fantastic. Would recommend a grab bar for us seniors! Entrance door is tricky. Owner very responsive Enjoy!!

This cute and eclectic cottage was just right for my family of 4. Steps from the beach and a short drive to St George Street. Kitchen is fully stocked with all that you need to prepare your meals. Beach chairs and umbrella provided as well. We enjoyed our stay.

Old Florida home in a great location - 3 houses from the beach. Nice fenced in yard with great outdoor space. This is our second visit. We love it here!

This was our tenth visit to the Cottage since 2011. The location couldn't be more perfect: away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet only a short walk to the grocery store. And a two-minute walk to the beach. Vilano Beach itself is a nice laid-back little community which so far doesn't seem to have been adversely impacted by the new hotels that have cropped up. The beach itself is perfect for walking and viewing both sunrise (over the ocean) and sunset (over St. Augustine in the distance). Our favorite activities are: hiking at the GTMNERR, bird watching at Fort Mose, the Farmers Markets and the park on Anastasia Island. Favorite eateries are: Manatee Cafe, Farmhand KCHN, and Creative Juices Cafe. Favorite coffee shops are Crucial Coffee Cafe and Cuban Coffee. And best of all, they're all easily reachable by bike, so there's no need to worry about finding a parking place. The cottage itself is very homey and comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen. We hope to be back for many years to come. Highly recommended!
