Came down to Talkeetna on the train from Fairbanks for a brief getaway. Nice cabin with many artsy touches. Manager/owner helpful and responsive. Only thing that was a suprise was the tightness of the bathroom. It worked for us, but if you are a big person, it could seem small. Nice binder with lots of information about the area. We appreciated being able to make breakfast and lunch at the cabin.

Talkeetna airport side of Talkeetna, perfectly quiet and well- appointed. So grateful for our stay. Would recommend to families for sure.

WE stayed here for one night, the manager was very helpful and answered all my questions quickly and was very accommodating. The unit was very clean and was in a quiet location. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was great for walking to downtown Talkeetna. It made a great stop on our way to Denali! The property manager responded quickly to our questions. Thanks for the nice stay!

The cabin was well stocked and I would recommend it to others.

This gave us a good place to stay within driving distance to downtown Talkeetna on the way to Denali. Had a lot of space to spread out as well.

Location was great Bathroom was very very small but no problem with hot water no place to sit because the springs on the couch and chair hurt your rear process was very smooth 1 true bed in the living room others are springed frames pillows could be upgraded FWIW this comes from someone that is a bit high maintenance if your looking for something simple this would work

Cute place. Definitely maximizes use of space but had everything we needed. Short walk to downtown was no problem.

The cabin was in a great location, walking distance to everything. So charming, clean and humble.

It worked out perfectly with our plan to see Denali from one of the best viewpoints around. The friendly hostess helped us a lot.

Family trip - one night stay - just right!

Just a short walk from downtown, this cozy cabin comfortably slept two adults and two 9 year olds. Clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a lazy weekend getaway.

We had a wonderful stay here. The space could accommodate 7 people. LUCKILY we brought our own food because lines were LONG everywhere. We were able to store and cook food for four for a couple dinners. There’s, books, games & a Roku. We were very comfortable. We were also situated in the shade so when temperatures got high, we weren’t suffering. Nice walk to town. Would stay again!

Property is clean and quiet. The experience was good, Wi-Fi wasn’t really working but that wasn’t what we were there for. I would recommend and stay again

Cute little complex of historic Alaska style buildings. Loved the outdoor lighting. The heat and light were turned on for us - very welcoming! The cabin sleeps 6+ with the biggest bed in the middle of the kitchenette/living area and two private bedrooms upstairs which were great. The hot running water was nice to have on an Alaska winter night. The bathroom has modern conveniences - but is 100% build for small people - like a tiny house or RV size sink/shower. Important to know if someone is a larger or taller person. The shower may not accommodate so well. Nice to be warm and comfortable and to make coffee in the am.

So simple for check in and check out! The house was cozy!

Great spot for a small group of people. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for the night. The teenager loved sleeping in the little nook. The property has several little rental units but was nice and quiet. It’s a pretty short walk into town from there. We also enjoyed using the sauna. My only complaint would be that there were no towels available but luckily we had brought a couple of beach towels with us. Marne was great at communicating with me anytime I had a question.

Cabin nestled in trees walking distance to the downtown area. Was like camping without the tent and with a bathroom. There are other units on property, but cabin set apart and we didn’t see or hear anyone else. Had all necessities, coffee pot, small fridge and cooktop. Very small but we didn’t spend much time there other than to eat and sleep. Owner description accurate.

It said quite time 11 pm - 9 am. The people that stayed in the yuart that was outside our window was extremely loud at 1 - 2 am.

We stayed one night in Unit 2 and two nights in Unit 3, which are adjacent to one another. Both units are decorated in a funky style that is fun, but has some quirks. The shower in both units is so small the average male may find it difficult to turn around. The sink in the Unit 3 bath is also tiny. Unit 2 has a small bed in a nook downstairs and two larger beds upstairs; however, the ceiling in the upstairs bedroom has a steep slope to it that makes it difficult for adults to stand in parts of the room.

We really appreciated Marne being able to accommodate us when our travel plans had to change. Cabin has a semi-private front area which is nice.

Second time staying at Talkeetna Eastside Cabins and would stay again. Lots of room, sleeps 6, to move apart. Could use more seating, besides the 2 bar stools to sit and eat, play games or work on lap top. We brought a card table and a couple of chairs and it worked fine. Missed out on the sauna. Looked toasty. Thanks for the snacks!
