It was clean, the view was gorgeous. The house was well stocked, it had everything you might need.

We just loved the lake house. It was so clean & looked exactly like the on line photos. Being right on the lake was so peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch every morning while we enjoyed our coffee. It’s a perfect spot for a relaxing weekend.

Immaculately clean, all the little touches that made it so accommodating, comfortable beds, completely renovated/ updated and beautiful view- screened in porch, excellent location and so many hooks for hanging towels/ clothes etc. which I loved, clean coffee pot! Such a beautiful place. My sister and I stayed with our mom here for Mother’s Day & we wouldn’t change a thing! Would love to come back ! Thank you so much to the wonderful hosts !

This cottage is just darling. We were VRBO newbies and didnt quite know what to expect with renting a place. But, we couldn't have asked for more! It was the little things for us, like having boxes of kleenex in all rooms, hair dryers in both bathrooms and frozen mugs in the freezer for our beer! The pantry has supplies & the kitchen is well stocked with all your needs. The cottage was super clean & decorated so cute. The view is beautiful & the setting was so peaceful. We even got a gorgeous sunrise on Sunday morning. Dean & Renee were easy to communicate with & answered all our questions before & during our stay. This is definitely a place we would love to visit again!! 5 out of 5 stars.

My husband and I have stayed in a lot of places, this by far is the cleanest we have ever stayed in! Dean and Renee were on top of all communication. The setting is peaceful and beautiful. Watching the sun come up over the lake with a cup of coffee is great for the soul. We will definitely return.

Warm and cozy, close to downtown Traverse City.

This cabin had everything we had hoped for. It Is very comfortable, enjoyed the fireplace and having it right on the lake with kayaks (if only the weather were better). The lake is so beautiful and the screen porch and the covered outdoor swing were so nice. There is even a well marked trail in the Forest Preserve across the street. We loved our week there and plan to be back next summer.

Neighbors wanted a get away for a few days and found this cute cottage on Bass Lake. Dean and Renee were wonderful and the cottage was spotless. We were surprised to find that it was furnished with everything that we needed. Already miss sitting on the screened porch staring at the water or watching the sun rise. Highly recommend this wonderful cottage on a beautiful lake.

We loved this home! We rent homes several times each year and this home was by far the most stocked we’ve ever stayed at! Everything from necessities to beach towels to coloring and art supplies for the kids. The neighborhood was quiet, we loved the available kayaks/paddleboat, and sitting in the screened in porch was lovely. Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful setting for lakefront cottage that has quality updates. Super clean and well supplied. Communications with Dean were great. Appreciated a dock for my boat. Really enjoyed the screened in porch and swing in the backyard. Perfect for the two of us with rooms to spare. Great job on all the updates and amenities.

Love this place, our second vacation here. One level living and access to lake. Easy walk to hiking trail. Quiet lake area, kayaks, paddle boat and row boat.

Cottage-like house with updated appliances and AC. Great to have the two kayaks with easy launch from the property. Attentive communication with the owners. A brief storm knocked out the water heater which the owners got back on ASAP with their APP as soon as I messaged them that it was out. Great having until 11am to check out. We'll be back!

The home on Bass Lake was as described. The owners were easy to communicate and very considerate. We had four adults staying with plenty of room. The home was well stocked with everything needed for cooking and enjoyment of the lake. The neighbors were friendly. We have been vacationing in upper Michigan for many summers and this location and home by far as been the BEST... we would highly recommend this home.

This cottage was everything promised in the listing! Beautifully remodeled, well equipped, clean. The view is incredible! We loved sitting on the screened in porch and gazing at the lake. We hope to be back next year.

This place really rocked it!! The views were amazing, the neighbors were really friendly we even got a pontoon ride around the lake. The two person swing was a really good addition, we used it a lot during our stay. The house was very clean and set up nicely for our stay. We are ready to do it again. Great place to enjoy easy access to Bass Lake. Clean house, and easy in and out. Centrally located for quick trips throughout the area. We'll be back.

We loved this adorable cottage right on a gorgeous lake! Sunrises were incredible. The lake was like glass - so peaceful and beautiful. It was so quiet I could hear fish jumping. This was the perfect place for our family to stay during our daughter’s graduation from Interlochen Arts Academy.

Very impressed with this beautiful little cottage! Very clean and comfortable. Caught several fish off of the dock. Even a 14” bass. The beds were very comfortable and we really appreciated how quiet the lake was. We used the peddle boat to go to the sand bar near the island. We loved how close it was to Traverse City to meet up with friends for dinner and live music. We’ll be back!

It was a great location being right on the water. It was clean. It was nice for us to drive into town and also to visit family that live outside of town. We would definitely stay here again, we would love summer time to explore the lake!

Island View is a lovely place to spend time on this quiet lake. The morning sunrise delighted us as we had our coffee, and did some fishing off the dock. The screened porch was wonderful for evening dinners and playing games. The walking trail nearby was so convenient for strolls, and just enough challenge for us older folk.

Property is clean and accommodating for everything needed to enjoy Bass Lake. Easy access to the surrounding area. We enjoy our time here.

We loved our stay. The house was very nicely renovated, clean, and everything we needed was provided. The location is also perfect with close proximity to both Traverse City and Interlochen. While we didn't get to enjoy the water due to unusually cool August temperatures, the lake was beautiful and very peaceful.
