Great house for a weekend extended family vacation. Enjoyed going to the lake beach.

We had such a great time at your house. It was amazing how well equipped your house was. We couldn't ask for anything more. Although our first day was terrible because of the rain, we were able to fill up the rest of our week with going to the lake and feeding the deer which seemed to arrive at the sliding doors for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful time. Location of house was perfect with easy access to outdoor activities. House was very clean and extremely well stocked for guests. We really appreciated being able to bring our dogs Loved both the indoor gas fireplace and the firepit. Set up was great for families

4 of us stayed here for a girls trip. The open concept layout and large kitchen were perfect. The first 2 nights were damp and rainy so the gas fireplace inside was perfect. Our last night there we had a fire outside in the firepit. Lights strung in the trees, wood that is supplied and stacked right there along with 5 chairs around the firepit made it really comfortable and a beautiful setting. The owners were very responsive and the house was clean and located close to restaurants, sky resorts and with in 30 mins to wineries and even Jim Thorpe. We will definitely stay here again.

We have enjoyed Linda & Greg’s Peaceful Mountain Haven before during the summer months. This was our first time visiting in the fall and it did not disappoint. We had an absolutely beautiful fall weekend getaway. We love this location and greatly appreciate the owners’ hospitality. We cannot wait to visit again. It’s always a highlight for our family.

Our family had a wonderful vacation in This immaculate property. The house was perfect for my kids and our small lab who even made friends with the deer. We enjoyed the fire pit with the lights every night making s’mores.

The house was super clean and comfortable. The only downfall was the connecting bedrooms. Makes it challenging when you have 8 adults since you have to go thru the other bedroom to get to the bathroom. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and had a great time!

Great place for family time. This is the second year in a row we have stayed at this wonderful home. Linda and Greg are great hosts and easily available throughout the entire process from booking to checking out. The walk down to the lake area is short and the atmosphere friendly. Family white water rafting and walks in Hickory run State Park were highlights of the visit. The fire pit and the visiting deer added to the relaxation and fun. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Absolutely amazing property, clean beautiful home in a great location. Quiet but close enough to all local attractions. The wildlife was exceptional!

I have rented several times through VRBO- This is the cleanest property we've been to. The house was absolutely spotless and cozy- we all felt "at home" and comfortable as soon as we entered through the front door. The kitchen and home are well stocked- we definitely over-packed because Greg and Linda provide everything and anything you could think of! The lake is within walking distance, and the fire pit, and deer visitors are delightful. Greg and Linda as hosts are phenomenal. There was instant, easy communication and if there are ever issues, they are dealt with immediately. We really can't say enough about this property so I'll end on this- Do Not Hesitate to Rent This Home. Thank you, Greg and Linda!

Our family had a wonderful time at this quiet, peaceful get-away. Beautiful forest view, fire pit for campfires, extremely clean, and walking distance to the lake — what more could you want? The property manager was also very kind and responsive, and the house well stocked and very comfortable. It was a perfect place for a family with small children — or anyone!

We had a wonderful time at Greg & Linda's place! It had everything that we needed for two families with kids ranging in age from 8 months to 15 years. Plenty of space, plenty of board games, etc. It is located very close to Jack Frost/Big Boulder so going to and from the slopes was easy. We would love to come back in the summer to check out more of what the area has to offer!

This trip was my husband and I and our adult children…it’s was frigidly cold inside but the house was so warm and cozy.. we played games, watched movies and rode ATV’s .. so much fun

My family and I just stayed at the property over Thanksgiving weekend. Everyone loved it, the house is clean and has everything you need. We've been renting in the Lake Harmony area for 10+ years and this is one of our favorite places. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend renting. The pictures don't do the property justice, it's a perfect place winter, spring, summer, or fall. Thanks for having us.

Our weekend trip to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday was nothing short of amazing. First off, the house really is spotless and it’s very warm and inviting the moment you walk in. We all fell in love with the kitchen. It’s so clean and beautiful. Everyone especially loved how the house had a charming, rustic feel to it even though everything looked updated/new at the same time. The rooms were all spacious and very cozy and everyone in our party had plenty of space. Everyone also loved the arrangement of the outside area. The string lights surrounding the fire pit are a nice touch and gave the area the perfect amount of light needed. We were probably outside more than indoors just because it was so relaxing to sit by the fire in the evenings. It’s true that you really don’t need to over pack because the house pretty much has everything you need, such as towels, dishes, pots/pans, firewood, etc. The owners Greg and Linda are super sweet and very responsive and we couldn’t ask for better hosts. We all had such a memorable time and wish we could have stayed longer. And lastly I can’t forget to mention, the deer are sure to come looking for food. We were actually looking forward to seeing them based on all the other reviews we read. It was so enjoyable and definitely part of the fun to see them come up so close to the house. We would love to stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

This was our second stay at this property. A guys golfing weekend and once again we were extremely satisfied. Great location, great condition and clean. Extremely well supplied house and well maintained and updated. Hosts are extremely accommodating and attentive. We are already looking forward to our stay there next year.

This was our second stay at a Peaceful Mountain Haven. We enjoyed it so much last year we wanted to return. Linda and Greg have a lovely property which is close to many Pocono attractions. Their home is clean and cozy. It has everything that you need and they think so many details to make your stay enjoyable. Our family loves feeding the deer that visit each day. We hope to be back again next year.

This is the second year we have stayed at Greg and Linda's home and it couldn't have been better. Lots to do in the area from swimming, kayaking, hiking, dining out at great restaurants, and just chilling on their deck. We also really enjoyed their firepit at night. Their home is very homey and had everything we could want from necessities to games and kitchen items. There is a general store about 2 miles away where you can go to pick up anything you might need. All in all, it was a wonderful place to stay. We plan to return again next year!!

Great location! Access to swimming was easy. Wonderful yard with plenty of seating and a great fire pit.Close to Hickory run State Park that offered great hiking and swimming for our age range of six on up to grandparents. While Greg and Linda made it clear that they were available for any questions or other needs, we had no problems. Just a great time!

First off, the pictures DO NOT do the interior justice...my wife was very impressed with the cleanliness of the house. We loved the quietness as well. Location was great for us, being only about two minutes from where our Daughter and her family was holding our Grandson's Graduation party. Sadly, the weather was not very cooperative...BUT...that did not spoil the fun of being up there. ANYTIME up the mountains is a GREAT TIME. And being in a clean, comfortable, cozy AND quiet place like Linda and Greg's, is ALWAY a BIG PLUS. Another plus was that there was ample parking, although we did not need it all, but, still a great thing. The little side cutout of the drive was a good feature, which helped in turning around for those who cannot drive in reverse any long distance or a spot to park one of the cars for easy in and out of the other. We liked that the big twin sliding doors had the curtains as well as in the rooms, that blocked out any outside peering of others at night time. For me, one of my biggest signs of approval of a property is the reaction of my Little Granddaughters! The place got a big approval, especially when they saw the bunk beds AND had their own TV in the room! LOL Our Son was also quite fond of the house and he is more picky than I am! All of the extras in the house were very nice, meaning, the linen, towels, soaps, and laundry facilities, to all of the games and toys for all ages. So, in conclusion....WE LOVED THE PLACE!
