The pictures and description and feedbacks are very deceptive. We only stayed one night out of four. When you arrive at the condo be prepared to walk up 30 steps to the inside of condo. Once inside you will be greeted with an old looking and smelly condo. The unit was built in 1990 and it looks like nothing much has ever been done with it. The furnishings are very old and uncomfortable. In the living room you must move the couch away from the door to the deck in order to get out. The three windows in the living room are filthy, one has a crack in glass and I could only open one for ventilation. There is a Roku tv that has no local channels. There are wires at the Pac-Man game that are very sloppy and hanging everywhere. There is only one portable AC unit. The kitchen is outdated and you can only open the fridge door a third of the way because it hits the steps that go upstairs. The bedroom is the size of a large walk-in closet. Bed is advertised as a queen size but was only a double. There is only about a foot on each side of the bed to the wall. Also had a portable air conditioning unit stored between the bed and the wall which was right next to your head. There is no closet to hang your clothes, only a small wall rack with 5 pegs in the hallway to hang your belongings. One of the smoke detectors was disconnected. The bathroom was just ridiculous. Looked like they installed two outdoor floodlights. The toilet seat was old and disgusting, light over sink is a joke.

Great view, great location, clean and comfortable! The main road noise is definitely present, but it’s all good.

We did not realize there were that many steps! It was very hard for us to carry everything in. The air conditioning is noisy. The kitchen was very well stocked . The lake view was nice.

The lake area have lots of activities to pick and choose, we always enjoyed going to the lake and admiring the mountains view and water falls , we were lucky enough to encounter beautiful wildlife like a Bear 🐻 and and more , so overall is a great place to visit for a quiet paradise alway from home.

We had a wonderful time! Great place for the price, awesome location and great view of the lake. I would recommend a shovel near the door for navigating the stairs to the unit during the winter.

To begin with, passcode they gave us for the door to check in was wrong. And it was a bit of a process to get them to give us the right one. While staying here the pipes froze. We called and told the rental agency and they said they would move us. They did not so we spent the entire time without water. Went 3 days without water and they reimbursed us for 1 day to make it “right” (in their eyes I guess). Communication between rental agency was just a bunch of promises saying they were going to get an update and get back to us but that wasn’t the case. Property itself was neat. But the entire experience will prevent me from renting here or any of the listings by Vacasa.

Liked the view but for the dirty windows. Also air conditioners loud plus the windows we wanted to open to get the breeze did not have screens. Had to move heavy couch to watch TV. Not a fan of Roku, hardly anything live. Opening locked door was a challenge every time. Toilet not clean and not working well. No closet for clothes on first floor. If we knew all these things (and more) before hand we would not have rented. The place needs an overhall.

The location was perfect for a quick getaway but still close to home. The unit was mostly clean but could use a little more attention to detail and a bit of elbow grease. Check-in was also a bit of a hassle. The original key code did not work and I had to call customer service for assistance. Thankfully tho, customer service helped very efficiently and effectively after a long ride to the lake. Lastly, the reason for only 3 stars is the pull out couch had urine stains in the bed. Other than that everything was fine and did the job for the weekend. Thank you for hosting.

What saved my vacation is Deep Creek Lake, this is supposed to be a review of the property. But the whole experience is dependent on all points of the vacation. Check-in was painful, as i have a bad knee and require a cane to walk. This place has 30 steps to get inside which was a poor choice on my part. I knew there were steps, but 30 !? The code I was given to enter did not work, I made three phone calls to get a number to text to which helped, but it took 30 minutes to get in the door of the loft (it's a good thing it was sunny). The loft was comfortable, the bathroom and shower made it so. I am an artist and the view from the loft is spectacular. I do not have television at home and so I was looking forward to enjoying evenings and rainy days watching, However the television was not as advertised and I was not able to take advantage. I have been coming to DCL since 1978 and I hope to return in the future. What does it mean to be "newly renovated"?

The listing says “Newly Renovated”, there is nothing in this place that’s been renovated in the last 10 years! The kitchen countertops were covered in ants. The bathroom smell like smoke and pee. The couch smelled like smoke. The filters in the A/C units hadn’t been cleaned for at least months. The carpets were all stained and gross. You can’t hear the tv at all if the A/C is on and even with it off we had to turn the volume to 100 and I have perfect hearing! The microwave and refrigerator were both dirty. We had to be moved because of how bad things were.

The property was advertised as "newly renovated" the only thing renovated were the floors - the bathroom and kitchen were not recently updated. We were charged additional fees as well as a substantial cleaning fee. There was mold on the shower curtain, balloon fragments on the mantle and window ceils along with a lot of bugs. Coffee machine did not work, 2 of the 3 track lights were out in the kitchen. and it was not a quiet location due to proximity to busy road and neighbors. I sent a note and photos to the management company, while they were responsive and apologetic, they have not done anything to rectify the situation. I would not recommend this location.

Its not a negative, but just wanted to point out- if you are a light sleeper, the road can get pretty loud and we did hear the neighbor below us' dogs. We didnt mind, but other may. We would definitely be back!

Nice little touches like lots of towel and pillows, dish soap, a few laundry pods, one small set of shampoo/ conditioner etc. Only complaint is that there is definitely road noise from 219 at all hours, to include a trash truck dumping and banging dumpsters at 2 am for 2 of our 3 nights there. If you are a light sleeper it might not be the right place for you. Loved the Pac-Man video game set up there and the pullout couch that replaced the futon in the photos was very comfy. Overall and thumbs up but will probably look to stay off the main road next time.
