We had a wonderful stay at this villa. It was beautiful and spacious and the location was excellent. It was close to a number of beaches and the rain forest. It was clean and well appointed and the grounds of the complex were immaculate. It was also very safe with multiple security check points for entry. The host responded timely to all our communications. Would definitely stay here again!

We rented this villa for a family vacation. It couldn’t have been more perfect. The until itself is beautiful and equipped with everything needed for a family. We cooked many of our meals and found the kitchen convenient and well equipped. We appreciated the ability to do laundry in the until, and the host generously supplied laundry soap. There is also the ability to rent a golf cart from the host for he week. We didn’t do this when booking because we thought we would check out the resort first and see if we needed it. Learn from us and go ahead and rent the golf cart. It makes getting around the resort infinitely easier and much more fun. All this to say I highly recommend this owner and the villa for a family vacation or just a couple getting away. It was everything we hoped it would be.

The villa was clean, spacious and quiet, and offered easy access to the beach, pools, tennis courts, El Yunque, and plenty of restaurants and other activities on the island. Beautiful views of the golf course and mountains! The owner was super responsive to questions and provided us with plenty of suggestions for our trip. We were very sad to leave and hope to return some time soon. Highly recommend!

Maria was an amazing host- answers texts almost immediately. Went above and beyond making suggesting of local places to visit and eat. The condo was large and spacious with an outside balcony/patio with a view. Good security. The property is located on many acres of golf courses and other condo complexes. Use of the other pools was nice. We had a car so driving to the beach 2 minutes and was easy-free parking. 5 star!

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful property and home is very nice and fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. Be aware there is no air conditioning in main living space (kitchen and living room). We were there in January and with windows open it was pleasant inside. Great air conditioning in bedrooms. Be aware guests are not permitted to use hotel property pools but there are two nice pools available for your stay and one is right next to the beach. I would recommend this place for those who are wanting to go to El Yunque as it is so close and also very close to Fajardo to get to tours to islands and fun water adventures including bioluminescent bay. We had a great time.

Everything was perfect. Beds were comfortable and place was very clean. My only wish was for more bath towels. We were three adult females and showers were important. Only one towel each for the entire week so found myself doing laundry frequently to have clean towels. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay!

The Wyndham resort overall was beautiful and relaxing and affordable and we would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat! We enjoyed the pools and the beach very much. We didn't rent the golf cart as we aren't golfers and we could drive and park our rental car for free everywhere except the hotel. Because we were travelling with our son who is a very picky eater, we didn't try the resort restaurants. The kitchen in the villa has all the basics so we typically had breakfast there and lunch out on various day trips. We cooked dinner a few times but also got casual dinners out. The beds were all very comfortable, which is super important to me when travelling and the temperature in the bedrooms was comfortable with the AC and ceiling fans. Because it was fairly hot and humid during our stay, the living/dining area heated up quickly in the morning but it was motivation to get out and explore Puerto Rico. There were plenty of bath and beach towels for a week's stay and enough soap, toilet paper, paper towels, etc that we didn't need to purchase those things, which was greatly appreciated. The location of the Wyndham resort made day trips to San Juan and other locations pretty easy since it is just off a main road (PR-3). I wish we were able to go to El Yunque more than once since it was only 10 minutes away, but we were only able to get tickets for one date (you have to go online at 8 am the day prior if you don't reserve ahead of time. and all the advance tix were gone when I checked before our trip). Communication with Maria Eugenia was very good, and I would say even excellent prior to our trip and on the first day. She was less accessible during a portion of our stay because she was on a boat with limited phone service, so it would have been helpful to have an alternate contact number from the outset, just in case, but everything ended up working out on its own :)

My family and I stayed for a week and had the best time! We are 2 adults and 2 boys, ages 8 and 9. We rented the golf cart from Maria which worked out well. The pools at the resort are gorgeous and the peacefulness of the community in the evening is so relaxing. We were able to do several nearby excursions and the local food surrounding the resort was all excellent. We would definitely stay here again! The space was clean, modern, and very comfortable!

The place is spectacular to be relaxed, without the hustle and bustle of people or noise. We’re a family of 2 adults and two pre-teens. The beach is very close. If you go to the Beach Club, be aware of the schedules because the Sunday we went it was closed. The best thing about the place is the communication with the owner. When we got to the villa we found that the bathtubs were dirty with hair in the drain and toilet paper. So we contacted the owner to let her know, that part was very unpleasant. Just arrived from a day of exhausting travel and we found that we had to start cleaning the bathrooms when we arrived. The apartment also needs some repairs, for example, the air conditioning only works in the two bed rooms, but the villa looks like it has central air vents, but it does not work. And if you go in hot weather, the apartment is very hot. We let the owner know this, who informed us that these repairs will be made soon. Ceiling fans help a lot in ventilation but all windows should be open. It is very spacious and comfortable. We wanted to use the beach chair, but the two in the bags were full of sand, ripped and broken. We informed that to the owner. It has two parking lots, but one is for the golf cart, which is old and moldy, by the way, but it works. If you are going to be on the resort grounds longer than you are going to be away, it is best to rent it. There are two parking lots for visitors, but it depends if there is no one using it, but they do not allow visitors anyway. There is a swimming pool in the complex and it has a BBQ area. Please read all the rules and policies before renting so you know that visitors are not allowed. In general, the place is very comfortable for 4 people.

We absolutely loved staying here! We had a couple of bumps when we first got there due to the local power and water outage, but those were resolved within a few hours and were totally outside of Maria's control. Maria was super easy to communicate with! The condo was perfect for our family of four (2 adults, 2 older teens). It seemed the a/c only really reached the bedrooms and didn't really cool off the main living area, but it wasn't a huge deal - i just need it to be cool when i'm sleeping! A few things to note that would have been good to know in advance: - Bring all your own toiletries. I don't think anything was provided other than a bar of soap. - We were only provided with two laundry pods, so if you're wanting to do more than 1-2 loads of laundry during your stay, buy or bring your own. - The coffeemaker is a small, hotel room size 4 cup coffee maker. This was actually ideal for us but if you are heavy coffee drinkers it might be good to know ahead of time. - We rented the golf cart, but it is older. The first night we had a problem with it and the fuel line busted. Maria had it fixed within 48 hours but we felt like we had to be SUPER careful with it. It seems the suspension is maybe not in great shape so we took care to put the two heaviest people up front and go VERY SLOWLY over the speed bumps. - The closest pool is easily walkable and was our preferred pool. Just up the street and hardly anyone there! I think unless you plan to go down to the beach or hotel area a lot (we didn't), the golf cart isn't really necessary. Overall we had a wonderful experience renting this place and would happily visit again!

Pros: Clean, good communication, easy check-in and check-out, flexible, use of golf cart, location, beautiful view, very comfortable mattresses, GREAT BEACH. Not many but... Cons: King bed frame squeeked at every move (not a huge deal but just annoying), not enough comfortable patio furniture, and fyi couldn't use any of the pools by 5 o'clock Somewhere- this was unclear to us (but I guess our fault not owner) until we were kicked out by security. Overall, a great time was had by all.

Directions to the property were not accurate and missing key details. It was a hassle finding the property at first. Lost power and water 2nd day of stay. We received no assistance at all. Asked if there were flashlights and were told to use phone flashlight.we were trying to preserve phone battery as there was no way to charge them. Looks like power loss is not that common on the island , so I would have expected better accommodation wrt generator/ flash light etc. it was a nightmare to be there with kids and be without water. Property manager did not reach out to us to check on us after the loss of power and electricity. We had to message multiple times asking for assistance, but none was provided. We had to move to a hotel and pay for that. Have requested a refund since we had to pay for hotel we had not planned for.

We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the large terrace morning and evening with wide open views of the mountains and greenery of the Wyndham property. It includes a table and easy chair, so we often ate our meals out there. The unit has central air conditioning which is great. The Wyndham area is so very well maintained and attractively landscaped, just like being in a tropical paradise with lots of palm trees. The access to the pool club is just a few minutes drive down the hill. There is a pool there and also lounges available right next on the beautiful beach. The beach was lined with mature palm trees which gave plenty of shade for those who want it. A great location within short drives to outside restaurants and the Luquillo Beach kiosks. We also enjoyed spending time at Luquillo Beach, a few minutes away, which has lots of parking. There is a very nice grocery store and bakery in a small shopping center just a few miles east on Route 3.

It was nice and quiet while in the villa. The only thing that I did not like was the amenities were on each side of the resort. One pool on the North side and one on the south side (entrance to beach). The amenities from the Wyndham Rio Mar were not available to us except the casino (gimme all your money) and the expensive eateries by the pool you didn’t have access to.
