Clean and comfortable

Everything about our 1 night stay was perfect. Our room was on the top floor and we had lovely views. It was large and airy and very clean. The bed was the most comfortable we've had so far on our holiday. Breakfast was lovely! It was an easy walk to the main street.

We loved everything about it and can't wait to visit Scotland and stay at Craigmount again! The Craigmount was a highlight of our trip!

The breakfast was a great start to the day. We were well looked after and given good advice about places to visit and changing the time of our ferry because of local road works. Our host was disappointed that my husband carried his own case down to the car! The old manse has been beautifully re-modelled, with each room themed and tastefully decorated. We were able to use the garden. We would return any time and can't speak too highly of this B&B and the lovely couple who run it.

The room was a little small but had everything we needed.

Our stay was wonderful, the room was beautifully decorated and clean and cosy. Good choice of food for breakfast and the location of the property within walking distance from the town. My daughter and I were made very welcome by Nicole and Malcolm who went out their way to please and make you feel at home.I highly recommend this beautiful guest house

Nicole and Malcolm were wonderful hosts. Very helpful and friendly. Hotel was very easy to find and only a couple of minutes walk from Wigtown centre.

Excellent location and amazing owners Malcolm and Nicola. We really enjoyed the breakfast and out theme room. Malcom booked us a dinner in the nearby pub, which had excellent food and staff.

Everything was fine.

Breakfast was spot on even down to the vegan sausages! Couldn't fault anything about it at all. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and they were a mine of information regarding the locality and local artist. The location for us was perfect as we were visiting various old haunts during our whistle stop tour.

There was nothing to dislike.

it’s very comfortable and its decoration theme is books! The hosts are warm and welcoming and I loved the gluten free breakfast available.

The attitude of the owner was very poor!

We've stayed here before and it's a terrific home from home. Clean rooms with plenty of interesting 'book' related facts, great food and a very welcoming atmosphere. It's definitely where we'll stay if we're ever in the area again.

Great location 3 minutes to the town centre. The owners Nicole and Mathew were great they were very friendly an informative about the house and the town. The cooked breakfast selection was impressive and really well cooked - top marks all round

The hosts Nicole and Mal were so warm, friendly,kind and helpful. Nicole's food was exceptional and delicious! The home cooked,hot breakfasts so tasty!My friend and I both also ate in on our Thursday stay. The fish pie, lasagne and chocolate brownies absolutely glorious! Nicole also helped to book a table for us in a local restaurant- the food was so wholesome and filling!
