Location, in a quiet street, close to centre. A beautiful garden we could stay all night long. A wonderful hostess, funny and very accomodating!

Good food, the personnel was great, helpful and very friendly. There is a small river flowing close to the property, it sounds really nice. The property is really close to the Bran Castle, around 5 min walking. You have Parking slot @ the property as well.

the rooms needs a bit of improvements, almost everything is creaky and can become a problem during the night if you want to go to bathroom.

Staff was/is very friendly, for the purposes of our stay it could not have been better.

AMAZING HOSTS, comfy room with a great view and great location. it’s a little slice of mountain paradise! the hosts welcomed me like family. they were so sweet, kind, and flexible and made me feel the warmth of the local, small town hospitality immediately! I don’t speak much Romanian at all, and they didn’t speak a ton of English either; they were kind beyond the confines of language, and they certainly made the effort with my English and Spanish! :) this was probably the most comfy bed I’ve slept in throughout my travels in Romania. when I did finally bring myself to get up, right out my window was a gorgeous Mountain View! it was less than a 10 minute walk to bran castle, even in the snow. there is a river right outside as well, which made for some pretty views and quiet soothing sounds when I walked out onto the balcony. something to be aware of: Google maps/Apple Maps might take you to the wrong location if you’re not careful, so make sure to trust your eyes (there’s a very clear picture of what the front looks like) more than your phone!

The stay was amazing. Even though we stayed only 1 night, we felt like home. Our host was very kind and helpful. It’s in the vicinity of a river and the sound of running water was absolutely mesmerizing. Perfect place for a free noise fresh air gateway weekend.

So worth it, great and warm host, amazing location! Great value for money and such a lovely atmosphere!

Papa-bear - the loving grandfather, is a most endearing and attentive host. He is always warm, happy, helpful, and most of all, he is a very caring individual. He takes care of his guests, and makes them feel right at home. He offers a shot of his own made schnapps, and even provided some healthy snacks during my week-long stay. He made all the difference in the world it adding pleasant memories to my memories of Bran. Thank you kindly.

strong sun beats down on the building broadside causing a greenhouse effect. suggest installing awnings and blackout curtains in all rooms, because it gets too hot as a result of this. also the cabin style shower doors are terrific, except that they sometimes do not close all the way and the gap allows water to seep out (also may leak from the small sink) onto the floor causing it to be slippery and soak all the towels. these are easy fixes, and I hope the owner will renovate to make it great. Separately, the main road leading to the property from town is not paved, which causes immense amounts of dust everywhere. As owners of business owners & resident tax payers, the Casa Vera people need to advocate for this road to be paved by city government. It is a nuisance to both visitors and locals alike, and harmful to health. This is a world renowned tourist town due to the famous Bran Castle, yet the town infrastructure is poor, unlike rival towns like Sinaia.

The owners are a lovely couple! Can’t recommend enough! Great place to see Dracula’s castle and explore the local shops and restaurants, all within a walk away. Or use a car and enjoy their free parking, like we did!

Although the host didn't speak any English, he was super friendly and helpful, even let us check in early. The room was comfortable and very clean. Overall, a great stay!

Friendly stuff. They let us cook in their kitchen. The rooms are really small but it was good for small children.
