This updated condo was absolutely beautiful with a wonderful ocean breeze. It is extremely spacious and I would stay there again if I did not have to deal with VACASA. Due to the hurricane, there was not any beach access within a 10-minute walk. Everything in the unit worked well until the last 2 days. Not only did VACASA cancel this reservation and try to put us in a condo located across the road from the beach, but when we reported the 2 problems that arose, they never called back.

This condo has the perfect view! Check in was super easy as was check out. Place was very clean and so was the property. King bed is very comfortable! May stay here again when visiting next year.

Really enjoyed the beach and the amenities. The view was great from the balcony and even watched some dolphins on the last day. Would go back if we return to the area.

The Castle Reef is a fine complex with an excellent location, great beach access, and very nice pool. Our particular unit looked like an abused motel on the shores of Myrtle Beach. The unit was not mopped prior to our arrival, the ceilings were black from dust from the AC unit, the ceiling fans were warped downward and rusted, one AC vent had an anti-bacterial wipe stuffed into it, one electric socket was falling out of the wall, and one closet door was broken off it's track. Chipped doors, no trim in the bedroom with chipped paint, and a dated kitchen. I reported the broken door to the property management company (Vacasa) but received no reply. I have pictures to back up all of these claims. We actually had a wonderful week at the beach. The location is excellent, the beach was clean and not crowded, and the pool area was a lot of fun. Someone needs to invest some money into this unit to get it up to 21st century standards.

Loved the condo - clean and comfortable. Property manager was quick to answer any questions we had. Great location! Short walk from condo to beach. Beautiful view and loved hearing the ocean. Great area - lots of shops and restaurants around. Would definitely go back!

We notified the owner and she came immediately and sprayed the place and changed the air filters. When we returned there was no trace of mildew smell. The beds were comfortable and it’s decorated nice. Kitchen and bathroom could use some updating . Overall, it was a great stay. Right on the beach and a nice pool area.

The pool is right next to the beach which our kids really loved, and the beach was clean and pretty quiet. The condo could have used some more essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, etc and we were only given two dishwasher pods for 3 a day stay. Not a huge deal but we had to buy some of those items to last through our visit. The condo could use some updating as others have mentioned, but it's a beach property so you're not really there to enjoy the condo in the end. Overall, we loved the location and the size of the unit was just right for our small family!

We visited the Canaveral National Seashore which is a gem - just be sure to go early as parking is very limited. We had a very comfortable stay.
