Great property for a couple. Right on the main street with easy walking access to the downtown shops and restaurants. Be aware there are a number of steps leading up to the apartment, which was not a problem for us, but should be noted. The kitchen is very well equipped. The bed super comfortable. Streaming TV was a little quirky but worked. All-in-all, this property is a good value and we would stay again.

I’ve been coming to my family’s house outside of Highlands off Buck Creek Rd for over 30 years but this year I needed to not be at the house for a few days and this VRBO popped up right away and could not have been more perfect! It is upstairs over my favorite place in town, The Highlands Wine Shoppe, (need I say more?), right on Main Street, and had everything I could possibly need to relax and live in town almost like a local! The Wine Shoppe folks are the best and the apartment had all the extras! I’m so grateful to have found this hidden jewel and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming oasis in a perfect location to enjoy all the magic that is downtown Highlands!

This was the perfect home base for our trip to the Highlands, NC for a wedding (venue was Old Edwards Inn). Clean, comfortable and convenient to everything! The wine shop below is also great. We would love to come back again!

We enjoyed celebrating the wedding of dear friends during our stay, and the entire wedding party commented that we had the BEST accommodations of anyone! This is a great place to stay in Highlands. On Main Street so you can walk to anywhere in town. The apartment is so comfortable and roomy and has everything you will need. My second time staying here and will definitely come back. So much fun sitting around the fire pit on the lawn. The owners, Stephanie and Steve are wonderful and everyone in the Wine Shop is so nice and helpful. A top recommendation, you will love it.

Took my 2 adult daughters to the Highlands for a quick weekend and holiday getaway. We had a wonderful time. The place and location were just what we were looking for. And it was a big plus to be above the wine bar. We had to leave earlier than we expected because of a winter storm coming in, but we enjoyed our time. Would love to come back.

The property was immaculate & included everything one would need for the perfect stay. Superb location within walking distance to all of the fabulous restaurants & shops in downtown Highlands. Being above a wine shoppe is an added perk! Stephanie, Steve & Louie (the dachshund) are the terrific hosts! Great wine & people frequent this bustling shoppe. The apartment has a very comfortable king size bed & the kitchen is outfitted with pretty much anything you would need if you decide to cook. Looking at dates for my next return. I honestly wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else!

Stephanie and Steve run a spectacular rental above my favorite wine shop ever. The place is clean, spacious, and private with plenty of fun just downstairs or across the street to the town center. We can’t think of anything to make our stay better, and we look forward to coming back!

Absolutely perfect spot and great apartment! The place is incredibly spacious with a huge bedroom, a very large living area and an extra large kitchen! We loved having that outdoor space available as well! We were super surprised by how big it was! To top it off, the bed is super comfortable and the location can’t be beat! It’s right on Main Street and walking distance to everywhere!
