Our family had a fantastic stay. Mindy and James were lovely hosts, easy to communicate, giving us great suggestions on what to do in Florida, and even checking in with us on our first day. We spent many hours enjoying the pool and the beautiful deck, there’s even a TV on the covered lanai. There were many thoughtful touches through out the home, lots of movies, games, well stocked kitchen (we like to cook), comfortable beds and couch, parking in the garage and lots of room for our family. This was fabulous family vacation. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks Mindy and James : )

Renting was very easy & we enjoyed our stay very much!!

This is a challenging review to write. But I travel a lot and honestly look to draft genuine reviews for future guests as I know I rely on reviews when I am booking places. So here goes: Check in and pre- arrival contact all good. Location was good. The area is slightly out of the way but on a smaller, older development that didn’t have villas totally surrounding it. Well connected through the Ronald Reagan Parkway and a short drive to shops etc. The Villa was clean and comfortably furnished. Bathroom and kitchen both dated and interior standard villa fare in terms of deco but with plenty of bed linen, towels and cutlery etc. The outside space was more impressive with a large private pool and jacuzzi. Pity the pool area is in shade by 6ish. A new TV installed in the covered porch allowed us to watch TV out there at nights which was nice. Using a Grill/BBQ is an important part of our vacation. I checked before booking to make sure they provided a Gas BBQ. So imagine my disappointment on day 1 to find the BBQ so filthy, and I mean totally disgusting, we couldn’t use it.The hosts simply blamed previous guests for not cleaning it! They said they would clean it on their next visit to the Villa, not much use to us. They later told us they had a charcoal grill in the garage. But it was too small and who wants the hassle of lighting and disposing of charcoals etc on vacation. They offered to rent a BBQ and charge me. But I’d already paid for a BBQ so why should I pay again. Then on day 5 the hosts again used the excuse of blaming past guests when we couldn’t find the iron to press clothes. They told us they had to throw it out as past guests burnt plastic on it. But why did they not replace it at once? To be fair, they sent a new one via Amazon nxt morning, but only after I sent a complaint to VRBO. To be frank, I don’t care about past guests. If they do something wrong, the hosts need to sort it with them. Not punish new guests or charge them further. The cleaning and preparation of the property between guests wasn’t good enough and the hosts seemed more interested in making excuses than resolving problems. This is why I rate the Villa a two star. I couldn’t honestly recommend it to others nor would I stay again. But maybe we were unlucky. The hosts will undoubtedly want to reply so you can judge for yourself if they accept their mistakes here or are still being defensive and making excuses for what we experienced. We still had a fab time !✅

This was the first time I have rented a VRBO so I really have nothing to compare it to. The house in general was nice. The bedrooms in this house are all very close together so if you are traveling with other families and want some privacy I would suggest looking at a different house. The house got warm at times because we weren't allowed to adjust the thermostat - it had to stay at 76 degrees - which was frustrating - especially at night. There is a washer and dryer which was super nice and it was great having beach towels for the pool and shower towels provided. Overall I was fine with this house - it provided what we needed for our vacation to Orlando.
