Two weeks in this villa and would highly recommend. Highlights include:- wonderful communication and support from the owner, Phil- the villa retains character whilst being functional and in good working order- the heated pool is a delight. Given the amount of time spent around it, the privacy, size and excellent condition are a real winner- the landscaped gardens are beautiful. Well kept, lots of different areas, beautiful flowers, herbs and trees, all creating a charming environment to relax in- with a 16 month old in tow, the accessibility from driveway to front door to kitchen is perfect. Previous villas we have stayed in on hillsides have been lovely, but would have been wholly impractical with a pushchair and baby. This villa is mere steps into the property and easy for carrying shopping in- the master suite is secluded and spacious - lovely to have a top floor for baby, and the large downstairs double with dressing room and ensuite. With the doors out to the garden and pool area, this was a great feature- a well stocked and functional kitchen - as a keen cook this was important and nothing lacking- location - easy walk into Valbonne with its restaurants, market and lovely little boutiques - not always easy to find with villas. Plus a quick drive to the coastal towns of Cannes, Antibes and Nice, Perfect to enjoy both the lovely mediaeval towns of Provence and the beaches and glamour of the Côte d’AzurWe have stayed in many villas over the years. This is one of the few we would return to and we created treasured memories with family and friends. Thank you to Phil for being so attentive and clearly wanting above all to ensure guests have a perfect experience.

Fantastic relaxing stay in a fantastic home

As we know the area around Valbonne very well since years we know what we talk about saying , this house is absolutely great. Service, kindness, support whatever was requested, flexible and friendly. The athmospere invited to totally relax, spacious inside, French Garden outside. Close to the Valbonne market square, foot walk. We missed nothing, except eventually a second or bigger fridge to better cool the good wines. Rupprecht & Family, certainly coming back to this place.

We recently stayed here for a week (6 adults 1 infant) and in-short, we couldnt have asked for more. The house is lovely, well appointed and spacious and the gardens and outdoor areas are beautiful. It is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need/use during a stay, and feels like a home rather than your average holiday rental. Phil was brilliant from the moment we booked, always responding quickly and ensured we had baby bits (travel cot, high chair). Christine greeted us on arrival and was on-hand if we needed anything during our stay. The location for us couldnt have been better. The villa is located on a quiet residential road on the outskirts of Valbonne with spectacular views of the mountains. We walked into the village everyday in less than 10 minutes. The house is located on the side of a hill about 10 minutes walk to the centre of Valbonne. We could not have chosen a better place. It took us around 25 minutes to drive if you avoid the toll road from Nice airport, probably quicker if you take toll roads, with a satnav it was a very easy journey. Lovely scenery and views on the way. We were met, shown around house and put at our ease. The house has beautiful gardens and is airy and spacious inside. There was everything we needed on site, towels, tea, coffee, sugar and even a welcome pot of homemade stawberry jam, which we enjoyed with our croissants in the mornings. Lots of outside space with shade if you want to escape the sun. The place was lovely and clean. We did have to use mosquito repellent and there is spray available in each bedroom. The bes ar a good size and very comfortable. I have a bad back and always worry about the mattress when away from home but I needn't have worried. The weather was perfect and hot every day and being on a hill at night we left the doors open and got a lovely cooling breeze through the bedrooms. We visited several nearby beaches during our stay which were never more that 20-30 minutes away. Walked into Valbonne most evenings, to the square which has many restaurants to choose from. We visited Grasse and the perfumery and did a tour which was free. We visited the nearby lake and hired a pedalo. There are a couple of televisions, DVDs and games, but to be honest we never really used them as there is so much to do and see. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Can't get much better for a family holiday - 20 minutes from Nice airport and a very short stroll into the village - The kids loved the pool and the gardens and the house itself lacked for nothing. We'll be back!
