Very nice roomy apartment as advertised with lots of amenities. Everything worked well and hosts met us and went over everything.

We loved being by the ocean. Easy busy ride into the city. Plenty of space for our group of 5.

Cet appartement est très agréable et bien situé loin de l'agitation de Porto avec une belle vue du séjour sur la mer. Le trajet jusqu'à Porto est très simple (bus 500) et longe la côte puis la rive du Douro. L'équipement est suffisant et la communication avec le propriétaire excellente.

Pros: We enjoyed the large apartment, accommodating three couples. The location is perfect for accessing public transportation as well as a lovely sea-view. We did not have a vehicle, but there is garage parking available for the unit. It is a short walk to the beach area, and there are many restaurants and supermarkets close to the unit. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. Cons: The apartment is on a main thoroughfare and there is a lot of street noise at night too. Light sleepers bring ear plugs. We visited at the end of Summer season, although pleasant temperatures, it is still warm. The unit does not have AC, so the windows need to be open for the cooling breeze. The problem with this is the mosquitos coming into the unit. We were all being attacked during the night and waking with mosquito bites. Clearly, this is a seasonal issue. The single coffee maker is a stove-top espresso boiler, which only makes enough espresso for two people and we were six. We gifted a Nespresso Style coffee maker the the unit. Lastly, the living room furniture needs to be replaced as it worn and looks like Frat House furniture, although it is comfortable! To summarize, the unit is spacious, comfortable, and well located and the hosts are lovely. A few updates and additional style coffee maker are needed.

Great part of Porto to stay in. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. Lovely big living room to lounge in. Definitely a worthy choice.

This was a great location. The bus to downtown Porto was frequent and a pleasant ride. Apartment had a great view of the water. There are many restaurants in the area to choose from.

Our flat was in an older building that was dated but had incredible charm, warmth, and artwork. The flat had a lovely ocean view, beautiful artwork and antique furnishings. We loved the location close to Oporto but out of the chaos of being in the city center. There is so much to do in this area a beautiful beach walk toward Porto, a nearby bike rental shop, and city park across the street. If you want a shiny new sterile accommodation this is not the place for you. If your looking for character and charm this is your place!

We were 2 families with 3 kids 8 to 12. The apartment is perfect to go walking to the beach , do some shopping and take the bus to Porto. We had an enjoyable stay and everything was ok, so we didn’t need any assistance from the hostesses. Thanks Cristina!!!

La valoración general es excelente. Llegamos antes de lo previsto y nos permitieron dejar el coche en el garaje antes de la hora. El parking tiene dos plazas. Una delante de la otra. No tuvimos que mover el coche en los cinco días que estuvimos. El tranvía está a menos de diez minutos andando y el autobús casi en la puerta. Ambos te llevan al centro de Oporto. Joao nos recomendó restaurantes para comer por la zona del puerto. El apartamento es enorme, tiene todo lo necesario y unas vistas espectaculares.

Erg mooi uitzicht over kunstwerk en zee. Zeer ruime huiskamer en keuken. Goede busverbinding naar Porto. Erg handig was de ruime parkeergarage onder het gebouw. Appartement ligt op loopafstand van strand. Het heeft alleen niet de charme van Porto zelf.

The location is perfect if you’re staying a few days or a month. You can hop the bus right there or you can rent a bike and go all the way to Porto easily on the boardwalk next to the water. The owner was very kind and helped us with anything we needed. I highly recommend it.

This apartment is located an easy (and very scenic) bus ride to downtown Porto. The view is spectacular and there is lots of room to relax. It is very close to a great supermarket and many fantastic restaurants. Cristina & João are friendly, attentive and very helpful. They made our holiday better with their recommendations and tips.

This is really a very large apartment. We were 6 and one of the 4 bedrooms was closed during our stay as the host told in the listing description. But 3 bedrooms were enough for us. Living Room is Huge. The kitchen is also very large. We had a wonderful and we could go to th beach despite staying in the end of the Summer. Water temperature is a bit cold but we are used to it.Cristina & John were very helpful.

After staying in Porto historical area, our family arrived in porto and joined us in this 4 bedrooms apartment. And we had an amazing time. The livig room is really big. The view is fantastic and the beach is just in front. Unfortunetly the water temperature was not like in the south of Portugal. It is cold (about 19 degres). We could our park in the underground garage and decided to take public transports to visit the city with our family.

Wir haben uns mit 7 Erwachsenen und einem Kind von 2 Jahren in der Beautiful apartment with a lovely sea view. Apartment was spotlessly clean, with lovely furniture and original art. Conveniently located near a bus route for Porto (busses every 15-20 mins, journey around 25 mins). Good supermarket and nice cafes just a few mins walk away. Cristina and John gave us a warm welcome and lots of tips on where to eat and what to do. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at the apartment with a total of six adults quite comfortably. Cristina was a great hostess and gave great suggestions as to restaurants and tips on getting around. The apartment is well equipped, well located, quiet and has a great view

Cristina et John sont super gentil et très accueillant, l'appartement correspond exactement aux photos spacieux avec une vue splendide un salon genial, face a la mer avec accès 2 min a pied a la plage et aux activités de Surf endroit genial pour surfer. les Chambres spacieuses avec literie confortable. parking privée dans l'immeuble, Séjour parfait pour une famille ou entre amis.

Apartamento increible con espectaculares espacios y muy cerca de la playa. Todo cuidado al minimo detalle y trato personal de 10. Metro y supermercado muy proximos y bien indicados. Excelente para grupos

Cristina and Joao were great hosts and were very accommodating. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and in a great location. I can't recommend it highly enough. I would love to stay there again (and will be). :)
