Lovely neighborhood, great house

The home was very nice. The outdoor area is wonderful! We encountered a small issue with the hot tub, and the host had someone out to check and fix it right away!

We truly enjoyed this gorgeous property. The pool is phenomenal and the view of the waterway spectacular. The communication with the owner/manager was excellent. The only negative is neighborhood rules seem to be a little strict for us. Though we didn’t have issues at all with anyone calling, we kept having to remind ourselves to be really quiet after 9 and before 8. ;) Still a beautiful property a lovely vacation. We absolutely would recommend.

The pool and hot tub area was by far the highlight of this property! The house was clean and a nice size for 10 of us including seating at the dining room table/kitchen bar, the living room with sofas and the back patio with plenty of chairs. My few complaints would be there were not enough bath towels or beach towels for 10 of us which you had to pay for laundry (washing and drying) and then the amount of dishes were also lacking for a group of 10. If the house can fit up to 12 guests, you would think there would be enough 'supplies' for everyone. Lastly, the owner was quick to respond to all of my questions which I thought was great!

We really enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood and the pool was exactly what we were looking for! We even saw a couple of dolphins! Both Circles and Finn's restaurants were close and provide a good atmosphere for dinner. If we are ever back in the area, we would stay here again.

We loved hanging at the pool with the family. Also my fiance and I took kayaks out in the canal and we had a dolphin swimming with us for the 2 miles that we kayaked. So cool! The hot tub was controlled remotely by the owner which was an inconvenience; however the owner told us that system is being changed so that the renters will be able to control it. That will be much better. The owners were very prompt at getting back to me via text, when I reached out and were very kind!!!

Great location

This was a very last minute booking and Einav was very helpful with any questions and was very accommodating given the last minute reservation. House was clean. The bottle of wine was appreciated and a nice touch after a day of canceled flights. I was concerned about Communicating with owners to turn on spa but it was never an issue and you can schedule in advance for the week if you’d like. Hubby caught a few nice fish off the dock and we even saw a manatee. Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay but there were a few little niggles. The plus points were:- the amount of space by the pool the shade over part of the pool the amount of space in the house the amount of pool toys the kayaks the neighbourhood (seemed very safe and relaxed) the hosts were very helpful The negatives:- the wooden furnishings had seen better days. 2 bedrooms were very nice but the other 2 are more set up for kids sharing 2 of the kayaks were broken as previously mentioned the hosts are lovely and I a sure that they would resolve any issues however they do come round quite a lot. There were only 2 days where we didn't see them and on one day they brought someone round to see round the house. That said it would not stop us going back. As mentioned by some other people it is a bit of a pest having to ask to turn the hot tub/ pool feature on and off. It might be better if the guest could turn it on but the time was limited to 2 hours twice per day or something like that. All in all we had a good stay and would recommend this villa for a family holiday. We had no issue with any of the neighbours and I don't think we are particularly quiet so perhaps the issue a previous renter had with a neighbour complaining about noise was an isolated event.

We had high expectations for this property when we booked it. However, a lot of stuff in the house need to be updated. Bathrooms and showers need to be upgraded. Kitchen utensils, pots, and pans are so old and dingy. Couches are not in the best of shape. In general, we had better.

Property was great! Hosts were great! Only issue was distance to a nice beach. I thought there was a nice beach nearby for the kids and there really wasn't. That has nothing to do with the hosts, but I would recommend making sure the area is what you are looking for when booking.

Over all a nice family rental. Nice, house, and pool. About a 15 min drive or more to get to most stores or resterants. The one thing I didn't like much was being micro managed by the propert owner. The hote tube and waterfall is can only be turned on by the owner. You have to get aholed of her when you want to use them. I had to message her to let her when I put the trash out. When you rent a house you have already paid for the amenities I feel as if you should be able to use them freely.

This home has a wonderful Pool and Dock. The owners where super nice and accommodating. If your looking to sit around and relax in a pool all day this is your house! The inside of the house is as it looked in the pictures. The AC in this house was AWESOME if you like it cool this is your house! Nice beaches are about an hour way as you can not swim in Apollo Beach (Look up the reasons why) We did go to Anna Maria Island crystal clear water AMAZING!!!! Highly recommend this beach.. As the owners about the go to places they have them all for you :) People had posted about having to ask for the hot tub to be turned on I found this not an issue and the owners did it right away with no delays. Honest I understand why they want to control this if we had control of it it am sure it would have been on more than needed and lets face it the cost is huge to run a spa like this. We provided the owners with a few things I felt are needed in the home nothing major at all and they where very receptive as they want your stay to be a 5 star Only drawback is that you have to pay to wash your clothing, that was a pain and felt like for what you paid to stay in the home this should not be something you have to pay for. This was disclosed in the booking so it was NOT a surprise I wanted to make this clear as this was not sprung on us. Bring Lots of quarters you will need them.. Our Family and Friends enjoyed our stay!!

What a great pool and spa space. A nice large area directly next to and overlooking the canal, it was absolutely everything we were looking for. Sipping coffee early in the morning watching the sun rise and having a cocktail at night watching the sun set, both were great for relaxation. The neighbors are very very sensitive to noise! We had 5 kids swimming in the pool around 9:30am and they were met with a very rude “shut up” from across the canal, not exactly what we were looking for. Other than that the house and location were great! I can’t say enough about the pool area… it was exactly what the Dr. ordered!

Beautiful home and pool area! We enjoyed our stay very much. About 1 hour drive to some of the beaches we liked but enjoyed the home, some restaurants in Apollo and a fish charter. Would recommend.

Everything was nice and as shown in the pictures. Everything was pretty standard as far as checking in and out. Great place to stay at.

We drove past a few high end houses, I was getting excited, I thought this is why it cost so much to rent. Then quality of homes started to fall some. We arrived early and contacted the owners , which both are super nice people. and they let us in early which was very nice of them. I was told to look around for damaged items and report them so we wouldn’t be responsible for them when we leave, and I found several. The house is nice not perfect but neither are we. The pool deck and hot tub were pretty close to perfect though. We settled in to start our vacation. I didn’t find out until we were given check in info, that the hot tub was controlled off site. I was informed I would have to contact the owner 40 minutes before every time someone wanted to use it. That was a major inconvenience. The second issue I had was the ongoing feud with the neighbors, especially the guy across the canal. He apparently calls the cops or bangs on the door and curses some renters. He didn’t while we were there but he did call the owners and complained we were too loud. The owner showed up the next day and installed noise monitors, one inside and one outside the house. He said we only got up to 46 decibels when he called them, and the alarm calls them @75 decibels. I said the hot tub is loud and you have to talk louder to be heard. He said we should sit closer to be heard. I said why would you rent a vacation home in a retirement community and not disclose that on the booking page and not wait until the check in page. I said if I had known, I never would have rented this property. He said it’s listed as quiet time between 9pm and 8am, and it is but should have told us the rest of the story. The AC broke the second day and they fixed very quickly. Listen we had a nice time and you will too, I just wanted the next renter’s to have all the information upfront, in order to decide if this is the best choice for their next vacation. “And may the odds be ever in your favor”

The most beautiful, expansive lanai with a wonderful pool and hot tub! We saw a dolphin swim up the canal and that was the highlight. Very relaxing and enjoyable with children and grandchildren!
