Poconos 2023 review Our stay was during the first week of july 2023. Once we got through the very long check-in line at the main office (understandable since it was the July 4 holiday week), we had a very enjoyable week because this house was perfect for our family of 6 and our dog. A couple of friends visited and there was still plenty of sleeping room. The beds were comfortable, house was clean and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Beautiful view of the lake and wildlife from the 2-story windows. We even had a rainbow over the lake in middle of the week! Spent our days fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and relaxing on the dock with lake front access. Nights were spent around the fire pit, playing the games in the ‘game loft’ and binge watching Netflix. The hosts were very friendly and always responsive. They put a lot of care and thought, and good quality in this vacation home.

Upon arriving at this lakefront property, we were impressed by the home's cleanliness and the wonderful view. We had enough comfortable space for our family of young children and adults. Most of our time was spent on the lake in the provided kayaks and sitting on the deck or around the campfire. When we had a rainy afternoon, we played games in the warm comfort of the game room! The house is well-equipped and the owners are responsive and attentive to details that help make a vacation home a joy to stay in. We all agreed that we would come back again; it was a great place to visit! Memories were made that will last a lifetime! Thank you, Adam, Suzie & John for sharing your lake house with us!

It's a man made pond, not a lake. The water is brown/muddy and dirty. We couldn't even step our feet in, it never mind to swim in it. The website shown kid jumping off the dock, that's a lie. Thank goodness that the rental came some kayaks and the game table, otherwise we'd have just sitting on the deck staring at the pond all day. There is 1.5 bath in the entire house, not 2 as described. A toilet and sink upstair and a shower and a tub with toilet in the one downstairs, the tub does not work, we were so afraid that the tub faucet will falls off when turning on the shower in the tub. Bed/sheets with hair all over them, pillows has stains, some blood stains on them, so disgusting. Also mice dropping on the kitchen counter every morning. Trash wee full when we got there the first day. We were asked to take their trash out on trash day and also to bring our trash to to curve during our check out. This house were put together by some hacks. Not worth the money. The host was more worried of what we need to do on our end as a renter. Very disappointed.

Everything about our stay was outstanding. The house and the lake were amazing. Adam kept in contact with us throughout our trip to make sure everything was going smoothly. I highly recommend this lakehouse getaway!

Nice property with big windows and sliding glass doors that look over your personal dock and beach. Has a nice wraparound deck overlooking the lake. My family enjoyed Kayaking on the lake as it was too cold to swim in late April weather. Cozy house and family friendly. We'll be back!

Loved everything about our experience, except the refund of deposit process, still have not received out deposit back - no damages, just a slow / poor process..

The house was clean, the property was right on the lake, and the property owners are responsive. We canoed and the dogs enjoyed the area too.

This house had many creature comforts (excellent climate control, great wi-fi, comfortable beds) and incredible lake access and views. Communication with the owner was excellent before and during the stay. We enjoyed kayaking daily and appreciated the large deck and the fire pit. While in the area, we did some shopping at the Crossings Outlets, hiked on the Appalachian Trail, visited Tobyhanna State Park, and enjoyed the daily visits from the deer, ducks, and groundhog. We were so grateful to be able to have our dog with us for the week. Thank you for a great stay!

We enjoyed our week on the lake and recommend this property for groups wanting a quiet, laid back spot to relax and connect. Adam was very responsive to all questions and we felt he really wanted us to enjoy our stay- which we did! On arrival we found the house clean and stocked with dish soap/detergent and extra paper goods. Bed linens were fresh & clean and there were plenty of clean towels (including a few beach towels). The A/C splits in each room allowed everyone to sleep comfortably and the wifi signal was excellent. Our family of 5 adults and one dog all had a great time relaxing/sunning on the deck, using the provided kayaks (many life jackets /all sizes), paddle boarding (brought with us), golfing nearby, playing the “Ticket to Ride” board game provided (a new family favorite) and enjoying the outdoor fire pit at night. There was a nice fenced in dog park at the other end of the lake that was a rarely in use when we stopped by - a nice bonus enjoyed by our 4 legged member. There aren’t a lot of restaurants in the area and we stocked up at the Weis grocery store & cooked/grilled most every day. One dinner out at The Pour House in Mountainhome PA which was very good/we also recommend (about a 20 minute drive; has a separate dinning area that would work well for large groups and families with kids). We originally selected this lake house as it was the perfect, equal driving distance spot to let us reconnect with our adult children who we haven’t seen since COVID started. We had such a good time we are already discussing returning/making this an annual event!

We had a wonderful time! The house fit all 10 of us plus a baby. Weather was good and there was a nice disc golf course only 30 minutes away

Overall our family really enjoyed the property. Spent a lot of the time outside and on the lake. Owners were very responsive and helpful.

Everything was phenomenal! Only problem was the ducks and the duck poop, and also the dirtiness of the grill. Otherwise, it was 5 out of 5. The canoes and kayaks, Netflix and Disney+, the games and beanbag chair, the view and AC, the cabinet labels (were VERY helpful), the manual and the brochures inside, strong WiFi, and everything else in between! We loved it. We would love to come back!

This property was everything we'd hoped it would be. It was charming and comfortable with great views of the lake. We were visited by deer and ducks everyday. It was a close to nature experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and hope to come back again.

We had a fantastic stay. Plenty of room, clean, and beautiful view of the lake. Loved having fishing and kayaking as a part of our stay. Check-in was easy and Adam was easy to get ahold of, although it wasn’t needed. We would stay there again.

I would consider returning here for summer fun time as well!

I wish I could keep this gem of a property to myself! With a fabulous waterfront view, the house is well-kept, very clean and a safe haven while vacationing during a pandemic. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen equipment and even some miscellaneous pantry supplies. The hosts were warm and pleasant, very easy to communicate with and helpful even in advance of our trip. Bedrooms were very comfortable and we loved being able to control the air in each of our own rooms. It was truly difficult to leave and we would have stayed another week if we could. The owners’ attention to detail was noticeable in countless ways that added up to create a great vacation experience, as if utilizing their own travel experiences to provide thoughtful touches that guests appreciate when they’re away from home. It’s now my favorite VRBO in that area.

This house is fabulous! Very clean, comfortable & inviting!Being right on the lake offered exquisite views & a sense of peace and tranquility! Having the kayaks to use was a big plus! We loved sitting in the living room & dining room looking out over the lake. The kitchen was very well equipped. If you forgot something don't worry, it was probably already provided! Adam was easily accessible and most certainly knows how to keep his guests happy! There was even a comfy dog bed that I found my dog sleeping on a few times! The only thing I would have loved more was a longer stay & to be able to throw a float down off the dock and jump on however, doing that in November NOT! I definitely want to stay again in the warmer months and recommended Adam's house to family and friends. It's a vacation you will not forget!

My wife and I stayed at this lake house in September of 2020 for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary, and it was absolutely amazing! Being concerned about cleanliness between visitors wasn't an issue; the owners made sure the house was thoroughly cleaned and neat before we arrived. They were also extremely responsive to any questions we had before we arrived and throughout the weekend. We only slept in one bedroom since there were only two of us, so it's tough to comment on all of the beds. The bathroom downstairs is large, and has a tub with a shower, and an enclosed separate stand up shower in the same bathroom. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of pots, pans, and utensils, and there seems to be a communal share of leftover condiments, seasonings, soaps, and other things between visitors that was nice to see. The lake was peaceful, the location was great, and the amenities within the house made for a relaxing getaway during these crazy times. We look forward to coming back some day!
