We really enjoyed our stay at Butterfly Cottage. Van was a great host and very attentive to our needs. We will definitely return.

I bought this trip because it had everything we wanted: more seclusion, more beach focus and pretty places to walk without seeing many people. Indeed it was just the right retreat. I didn’t realize how much I’d love sitting in the backyard watching the birds and the wind through the wild grass or taking walks down the dirt road with my family. It’s a good place to lay low and focus on chappy. We didn’t want to do the typical island sights this round. We just wanted a slow day beach vaca and we got it. The place is very cute and had more amenities and than I expected. The porch was a perfect area for our dog to sleep and for us to enjoy a cup of coffee with the sunrise. We really had a pleasant time. Van was a very communicative, friendly, professional host, among the best I’ve experienced. Very quick to help.

This property was absolutely lovely. It was very peaceful listening to the birds and watching the birds in the morning. The cabin itself had everything we needed and the location was perfect to get away from things while still having easy access to Edgartown and MV via the ferry.

The cottage was perfect for us. Quiet and off the beaten path. The cottage was clean, spacious and we loved the decor. Would definitely come back again!!
