Get away with old high school friends. This is the fourth time we’ve stayed here. It’s perfect for the group of The Great Eight!

The house was perfect! It was very clean inside and out. Everything we needed was there. Plenty of space. A great view! I can’t say enough wonderful things about our relaxing getaway. We all loved this place.

This is third time staying here. It is a great place for our family to come together. The property is amazing and it is super easy to communicate with owners.

We choose this home to celebrate my grandsons 5th birthday. It was the perfect place. We fished every morning and bbq’d every night. We made great memories and would stay again.

Pretty nice spot, and pretty clean for the most part! The roads leading to the house are pretty terrible for the last 2 miles (not ideal for sports cars), but you can make it. Relaxing weekend away for my wife and I. Had a great time!

My husband and I stayed 4 nights at this property with our teen and her friend and our 6 month old. The house was absolutely perfect. The open floor plan in the main living area let us all be together for our whole trip, while the split bedroom floor plan let the teenagers stay up late without waking the baby in our room. The Foosball table was a huge hit with our group. The view from the big living room windows was amazing. The house was stocked with everything we needed and more. We ventured out to Ham Orchard (highly recommend) and bought fresh peaches and I was thrilled to find a Nutribullet to make the baby fresh purees. If I had to list a "con", I could only say to be aware if you have very small kids that walking into the water isn't the easiest, but it is doable. We walked in with the baby at the edge of the property by the fence and there weren't too many sticks but there is some thorny vines so just watch your step. Overall, we enjoyed every bit of this vacation. The lake, the property, the house itself. We will absolutely return!

Great spot. Everything as advertised. Clean and comfortable. Would rent again. Only suggestions would be upgrade kitchen knives (worn out like many rental places) and install a ladder on the dock. The rope pvc ladder is a real liability and an acccident waiting to happen.

I rented this property for my husband's 40th birthday and it was great. LIterally just sitting around without kids. It was a lot of fires on the firepit, grilling and just enjoying the weekend.

We are three friends in our early 80s. We were high school classmates in the 1950s and have stayed in touch. We get together once a year for a three day "retreat". This property was a good fit for this year's meeting.

Great location. Especially for a fishing trip.

We needed a quick and convenient getaway from the grind of the Metroplex and this home fit the bill perfectly. It is well appointed and comfortable. And anything we did need was a short 10 min drive away. It was a bit chilly to be on the water, so we didn't get to take advantage of the kayaks. Next time. But the fire pit made for relaxing evenings and provided the perfect opportunity to star-gaze. We spent several pleasant days reading, napping, playing games, and watching the abundance of wildlife from the dozens of turtles, schools of catfish and numerous waterfowl. And Lake Tawakoni is a gem. Will definitely return the next time we need a break.

we stayed here while we took guided bass fishing trips at nearby lake fork. close to canton. property was beautiful and spacious! kayaks were fun but family loved the foosball competitions! great areas for entertaining the whole family!

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. We had planned a lot of different daytime activities and to be at the lake house in the evening. But we enjoyed being at the house so much that it was hard for us to leave for our other activities! Next time, we may just stay at the house the whole time. The outdoor living areas and yard were very clean and well-maintained. It was cozy and comfortable. The lake view was excellent. The beds were very comfortable. Bring extra pillows if you sleep with lots of pillows. The bunk beds were good, but not as cozy as the beds. For kids, they would be great. The kitchen was very well stocked and clean. The living area furniture was very comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and the bath linens were very nice quality. We would definitely book this home again.

Nice clean and cozy place on Lake Tawakoni. Me and my 2 boys (10 and 13) did a 4 day boys trip. We had a blast! The house was nice and clean. There is a foosball table and lots of board games to play when the weather doesn't cooperate. The backyard is huge and awesome. Horseshoe pit, campfire spot and a really nice fishing pier. We weren't able to use the kayaks due to the weather, but caught a lot of fish from the pier and shore. Would definitly recommend to others.

This was our 4 time to stay here. As always it’s a beautiful place and so relaxing. It always has a great view and the fish always bite.

Some buddies and I had been planning a fishing trip for a while and finally decided on a location. Unfortunately we chose the one weekend full of rain, but this property still kept us entertained. From the grill to the board games, we did not have a moment of boredom. We would definitely book here again, and highly recommend to others seeking a weekend getaway or going on a fishing trip.

Great spot for a family getaway. Nice lawn down to the lake. We enjoyed kayaking and lounging in tubes. The kids had a ball in the lake.

I can’t say enough great things about this property! We were looking to rent a Lakehouse for Fourth of July weekend as well as celebrate my daughter turning two. Of course all the bigger lakes were already rented out and we came across this property. I am so glad we did! My family had the best time the water was warm and shallow at the shore where my two year old could walk around. My boys six and nine loved jumping off the dock. Everything was so well placed and thought through. We already plan to come back! For a busy Fourth of July weekend we maybe saw six boats. It truly is a hidden gem and the most quiet peaceful property 💗

The house was extremely nice, the view of the lake was beautiful, and the ease of checking in and out was perfect.

Our only regret is that we should have stayed longer! It is a beautiful property, right on the water. We kayaked off the bank, floated in tubes, and fished off the dock. All ages can appreciate this home. 10/10 would stay at this home again!
