Cedar Home Lake Getaway came as advertised, lovely, well-equipped and quiet. If anything, my wife and I underutilized what it had to offer (the original plan was a girls' getaway for four, but COVID interrupted those plans at the last minute). The owner was very thoughtful in the many ways he set up this VRBO property and was instantly available when needed. The lake view and the lawn sloping down to it - complete with morning deer - was beautiful. Can't recommend enough!

We really like the house. Every room has its own bathroom, the kitchen is well equipped and new. Enjoyed the fire pit, upper deck was great and plenty of wild life to watch. Also it was really close the the grocery and coyote hole cider mill is right down the street with great food and cider

Our stay at Paul’s property was a respite from the hustle/bustle of city living for my friends and I who have been extremely busy with work, responsibilities and such. All of the bedrooms were extremely comfortable, with fresh sheets, and enough space for the guests to store their belongings. We SL immediately made ourselves at home, spent the majority of the time in the living room: watching movies, playing games, and relaxing on the massage chair. It was extremely warm for the first part of the weekend, where we sat outside and looked at the lake. We enjoyed our stay so much that we contacted Paul, and asked him if he would extend our stay- he did, and we were thrilled! The second half of the weekend was marred by snowstorms that rendered us stuck on the property. Paul was more than generous in caring about our safety and offering alternatives in the event that we would be snowed in at the cabin past our check out time. The house had plenty of amenities and it was the perfect location for being close to the lake, while also a mile away from the local grocery store, that way we didn’t waste time driving far and could quickly get back to our group being together. We would definitely stay at Paul’s lakehouse again, as it truly felt like a home away from home. Thank you Paul for everything!

We spent Thanksgiving, 4 adults and 2 children. The cabin was neat and clean. Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful view of the lake, walking distance from the lake. Home owner was very kinda and responsive to questions. Peaceful and beautiful cabin and area. Will definitely return!

I loved my first visit to Lake Anna and this lovely property. The host's engagement definitely contributed to our enjoyment for the weekend. Paul quickly answered all my questions, both about the rental and about the surrounding area, and addressed a minor concern with the linens. This is my second time at the property. Paul was amazing host and always replied immediately. The property itself is very clean and has fantastic views. I love the landscaping changes since last year and hope to stay here again.

My family and I were so happy to stay here! The lake is beautiful and the view is amazing. The dock area is a quick drive around the corner and allowed for fishing and swimming with our kids. Very quiet neighborhood and the residents we saw were very friendly. Only 1 mile from Food Lion which was very convenient for anything we ran out of or forgot to bring. The house is wonderfully clean and stocked with plenty of dishes, towels, etc. The beds are incredibly comfortable and there is plenty of space so our family of 5 did not feel cramped at all! Paul was great about communicating with us the few times I messaged him! The checkout process was quick and painless! We will definitely be staying here again!

Paul gets a medal for prompt responses and being incredibly accommodating. He is a delight to work with. For us, 50% of renting is communicating with the owner and honesty, and the other 50% is cleanliness, and this place was impeccably clean. Everything you read and see is accurate and on point, so take the time to review everything. The best part, the view—super nice.

Firepit area outside OK, but lacked enough outdoor seating. Dining room table could use at a minimum 1 more stool.

The place is just like the pictures. Communication with Paul was easy and very responsive. To do list for Checking in and checking out are easy and clear. The plus side of our stay was they provided little things but important so that we didn’t have to pack everything. Things like towels, toilet papers, seasoning for cooking, dish soaps, bedding. Tv has many streaming service. But most importantly is the place was clean, and spotless, and the lake is walking distance.

Cozy place! Kitchen is full equipped with essentials & more! 5 minutes away from a grocery store. Communication with Paul was great- made the process of checking in & out as easy as possible. Definitely would rent again!

The beds are very spacious and each room had a set of sheets ready to be placed on the bed. The kitchen was great and we had no issue maneuvering/ finding what we needed. The biggest hits with my family: - back patio/ view (watching a sunset/sunrise is a must!) -massage chair: mostly everyone took a turn and loved all the settings -TV selection: the variety from Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and all the other offered channels left us all well entertained Overall we enjoyed ourselves and had a great break. Paul is quick to reply and very helpful which we loved.

The views are gorgeous, the property clean, close to food lion. The hills were amazing for my kids to run on. Great wifi for people who are wfh. Will be returning!
