We had such a great time, the kids loved the beach was in walking distance. Our dog just loved running around on the beach. The house is lovely, decked out with everything you need for a perfect family holiday. Walking distance to food coffee and food. Thank you for having us - we will definitely be back.

The house was charming with its retro furnishings and lovely styling throughout offering many touches for a very comfortable stay for the family and fur baby. The fully fenced backyard is a good size and we enjoyed relaxing on the back deck in between playing table tennis each afternoon. The beach, only a short stroll away, is really beautiful and dog friendly too making our stay fun for all. Thanks for having us at your lovely property, we would love to visit again.

Awesome location so close to the beach. And our dog loved it. Secluded and quiet, during the week at least.

This house was great it was very clean, I stayed with my adult daughter and our Spoodle Cleo. Cleo loved the backyard and the beach close by. I loved the place and will stay again and highly recommend it to anybody wanting to stay in Culburra Beach area.

Had booked for 7 days but had to cut stay short due to mustyness of house which affected our breathing

We had a great time at culburra. The property was a great home base for us, our toddler and golden retriever. We really enjoyed our stay! We loved the beach and back yard. We did a bit of adventuring to callala beach and berry too. Thanks for having us!

We enjoyed our time at the property. It’s presented very well - clean, light and bright, spacious. Kids loved the table tennis table and hammock and the adults loved the coffee machine. Short walk to dog friendly beach, and also close to shops - eg. Woolies. We spent a bit of time exploring other beaches south of Culburra, which is a bit of a roundabout 30-45 minute drive. All in all we loved our time at the property - great beach house!

We spent a lovely week at Culburra Beach. The house was easy and as per the listing. Clean, comfy beds, good kitchen facilities. The back yard is well contained and provided plenty of space for our 2 little dogs. My only suggestion would be that a fan or air conditioning in the living areas would be great to take the edge off those hot summer afternoons, but the cool sea breeze does certainly help already. We'd love to come again.

It was OK, but shabby. The barbecue old and rusty, (its cover lying on the ground) - unappetizing. The garden plots full of overgrown lawn weeds over a foot tall. Lawn dry and unwatered. Inside everything pretty basic, but nice smart TV and Coffee machine. The place had not been well cleaned, and I noticed I was charged a lot for cleaning in my own bill. The outdoor lounge was broken, the top part could not be supported as bar had broken off. My husband drove to Bunnings in Nowra, and back to get 2 screws to fix it. The house is not on the beach - its a block back. Yes an easy walk, but the photos were misleading in the ad. One cold night I needed to put a heater on - as I touched it one end wheel fell off. It had just been propped up, and left standing there! Red 70's style sofa very uncomfortable to lie out on to read a book, or watch TV. View from the deck at the back was of a huge shed and two roller doors. Hardly picturesque, or easy on the eye. The whole deck needs a cover of some kind. Nothing relaxing about this place. Tried ringing David from Day ONE, but he never returned calls or texts. We left 2 days early and finally I got to speak to him. He said he was very proud of the house. I said it doesnt look like it. Angry and disappointed but made the best of it for 4 days. The area of Culburra Beach very suburban and full of weekenders - we found prettier beaches further south like Huskisson, Calllala, Honeymoon Bay, and day trip to Berry was lovely. Then just wanted to go home to much greater comfort, pleasant surroundings, a weeded garden and a barbecue that I dared cook on!

The home is a lovely beach house. Very clean and comfortable. The 3 bedrooms are good sizes. The outdoor area and yard is great! Pet friendly. Nice deck and lots of grass. Walking distance to beach and cafe.

Handy stroll to beach...on/ off lead. Good size fenced backyard for dog. Good set up for entertainment tv & wifi. Nice beach close by .

We had a 2 night stay - our second at this lovely property. David is an excellent host, very responsive. If you have a dog, give them a treat and bring them here. Fully fenced, a short walk to a dog friendly, gorgeous beach. They will thank you. This is a simple but tastefully decorated beach house with everything you need to relax. Special mention for the cosy linen doona covers!

We had a very relaxing holiday. The beach was stunning and it was only a short walk away. We really enjoyed lazying around on the back deck and soaking up the last of the winter sun. Our dog also loved the backyard and daily walks to the beach.

The house has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The coffee machine and good size TV with Netflix are all added touches to make the house even more comfy. The deck is a really great place to enjoy the sun while lazing the morning away. David is a considerate host, easy to communicate with and always prompt in responding to our enquires. We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a stress free relaxing holiday.

Property was perfectly equipped for a mid-winter get away. If it wasn't for the local flooding and torrential rain our stay would have been perfect. House was equipped to handle the cold and when the sun came out it was glorious. Generous hosts who have thought of everything. Easy day trip to Hymns beach and local neighbourhood walks to Culburra Beach were excellent.

David…thank you…had a deeply relaxing time. Culburra Retreat is excellent in its simplicity and does not want for anything. Nicely appointed with a lovely flow and pleasant ocean breeze made for a lovely base to enjoy morning beach walks and swims with our pooch….only a short walk away…and a short drive to beautiful Warrain Beach for another swim later in the day and then whiled away our time back at the retreat. It’s all we did and needed Best Wishes Terri and Mick

This is a lovely property - the interior design was very cohesive and well presented, and having our dog with us made it feel like a home away from home. We would definitely stay again!

The property was immaculately clean, with a beautiful rear lawn and garden. The large rear deck was the perfect place to relax and eat outdoors. The beach is only a short walk away and the shops are easily within walking distance, meaning we did not use our car once during our stay. The house is very well appointed and with a significant drop in temperature during our stay the gas heater kept the entire house at a very comfortable temperature. We will definitely going back to Culburra Retreat.

We had a great time at Culburra retreat. The information on the property was clear and concise. We had to let David know that we had changed the gas bottle over and he responded promptly. LOVED the coffee machine and the backyard.

Great vibe in the place, modern furnishings, appliances and comfortable beds. Best thing is it's 100m from the dog beach. Had a successful fish on the beach too. Plenty of DVDs, magazines and netfilx when you just want to stay in or relax on the deckchairs
