We took a ferry from Brensholmen to Senja in the evening and drove to the hostel but found out that the tunnel we were taking is closed when we got there so we had to drove all the way back around 80km to the other side of island The host should have told us about the closing tunnel instead of just asking what time we will arrive!! When we arrived around 10PM and done the payment the host didn't guide us to the room. He just told us the room no and said that he have left the key in the door which he didn't. We had to ask helps from guests to contact the property for us. 2 bathrooms for the whole floor is not enough!!!

Excellent location to base in Senja. All the attractions/ interesting points are in a short driving distance. Very good shared kitchen facility. Also the food was great in the restaurant!

Fantastic food. If you stay here you must try the cod. Excellent chef and very friendly staff. All in all this is a place dedicated to the ocean, it is all about fishing, boating, watersports... And getting some peace and quiet. Place is very clean. Beds are very comfy. Wifi is fast. Perfect also as a base for Senja hikes (Hesten/Segla), most.of which are less than 30mins by car.

When the house is full then the combined shower-toilet-bathrooms are very busy.

The hotel had big rooms, it was dog friendly and had a good breakfeast. The stuff was very friendly. They have a small restaurant where you can get tasty fish meals. All the ingredients are local. :)

The bathrooms upstairs could be updated.

The property was unique. The scenerey around is breath taking. The restaurant located down stairs with the reception and rooms were upstairs. It was easy to find there because it was the only big white building in area. The room were tidy and nicely decorated. They also had blinding curtains so it was nice to sleep in dark. Since the sun is up all night. We were only meant to stay one night here, but when we got downstairs for a beer the staff talked to us and made us feel like home. We also red from the reviews that they make the best halibut dish ever, so it was worth of staying another night to experience the dish. We decided that we want to stay here another night and it was best decision we ever made. The next night, one of the owners and chef Mare made the food and it was DELICIOUS. They also took us for a fishing trip the next morning and we catched a big halibut!!! Overall we were so happy of our stay that it was really hard to leave. Thanks for all the employees that made our stay unforgettable. It is rare to get this kind of customer service nowadays. We will definitely come back next year and bring our friends with us xxx

Great location and view. Very nice kitchen with three stations (stove, lavabo and all kitchen equipment for each station).
