Camp Chiffy never disappoints! It is so perfect for our growing family. Our kids and grandkids had an unforgettable week of building memories together. The property is gorgeous, the new docks were perfect for our boat and our avid fisherman. Everyday ended with a fire in the beautiful fire pit! We all love camp Chiffy and hope to stay again soon!

This was by far our most favorite family camping trips thus far! The property was spacious, enough for our 4 families. The master bedroom was beautiful, we were able to setup a play pen for our 1 year old. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you may need. The views outside from the living room were breathtaking and beautiful. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock every morning. Kayaks were great and fun. We will definitely be coming back. It was a trip were we created memories that will last a lifetime.

Our stay at Camp Chiffy was wonderful! The house was beautiful! We loved the spacious yard and the easy access to the water! The fire pit and the chairs provided were great! We made wonderful memories with Family and cannot wait to go back!

We had a wonderful time. The cooler weather fostered more hiking and biking. We still went out tubing and cruising in the rented pontoon boat. The house was comfortable and well-equipped. Mr. Chiffey kept us abreast of the information we needed as we stayed there. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Home was very clean and more than enough room for the 2 families that stayed! We rented a boat for 4 days and used the kayaks as well. It's located right in between Old Forge and Inlet. We spent time in both. Would definitely recommend this rental for any group.

Great location. Perfect size for 6 adults and our 5 grandchildren. It was a hot week and the AC was great.

This home has all the luxuries you could ask for. Three bathrooms and plenty of room downstairs for the kids to stay. It is close enough to ride your bikes for ice cream and if you rent a boat, close to the nearest lake. We swam off the dock, hiked Blue Mountain, and had a great dinner at Deckers. The firepit is upgraded. And there are plenty of chairs with cup and phone holders. The kitchen is well stocked and the dishwasher and refrigerator held up well under the weight of so many people. It was cleaned with care for our arrival and we had no difficulty contacting the owners who responded as soon as possible. Can't wait to go again.

This was our 2nd year staying at Camp Chiffy and we have already booked our week for next summer! The owner is wonderful to work with and readily available if you have any questions. This is a huge plus if you have ever rented a place where there is limited or poor communication. Never a problem here! The house is well equipped with everything you need, along with extras like 4 kayaks... perfect for a short paddle into Old Forge. We cooked a fair amount, so its nice to have a fully stocked kitchen with all pots pans and gadgets! The house being situated on the channel allows you to watch the boats passing through as you sit on the dock. The lawn is beautiful with a gradual slope to the water for older family members. We really enjoyed the firepit in the evenings to sit and visit as well. We look forward to this week all year long at the Chiffy Camp! Thank you for sharing your home.

This house was perfect for what our family needed it for. 5 real bedrooms that could sleep 5 couples plus bunk beds for kids and plenty of space for pack n plays for the little ones. The house was clean and the owner was very responsive. The yard was plenty big for the little ones to run around and play and we used the fire pit every night. Location on the river is basically ideal, just a couple hundred feet from First Lake we were able to kayak around and bring the boat out for rides with ease, but it was nice and quiet being off the lake. The house is less than 5 minutes from town, making shopping trips / bars restaurants / dump trips super easy. Would easily consider booking next year's trip at this same property.

Fabulous! A wonderful home. Very welcoming. Beautiful area. All the children ages 10 through 15 have begged use to rent this house again. Great area for people to learn to ski or snowboard. Late afternoon we lit a fire outside in the fire pit and had snacks and cocktails. Very peaceful area. We all just loved our stay. Thank you.

We had an outstanding stay at Camp Chiffy. Vinny has a beautiful log home perfectly located on the channel between the Old Forge Pond and First Lake. The property is well maintained and has all the amenities to make it your home away from home. The waterfront yard has a perfect balance of both sun and shaded areas to enjoy the outdoors no matter your preference. Whether you dine indoors or out there is plenty of seating for all. We used the provided kayaks daily and completed our day around the newly installed fire pit/sitting area. Vinny communicated very well. We look forward to staying at Camp Chiffy again.

This property has everything you need! It's in a fantastic location in old forge and so close to everything you need. The house was very clean and smelled clean too! The kitchen has literally everything, even a Keurig and crockpot! The house is a very nice layout for a large family or even a group of friends. The owner even had 4 kayaks you can use. It's located on 1st lake the spot where the house is is narrow on the lake but right next to the marina for a boat rental. But a short ride out of the channel 1st lake opens right up and can ride up all the way to 4th lake. I would highly recommend this place, can't say one bad thing about it!

It was our 3rd year there. The house and yard are great. We liked kayaking, watching the boats go by and the grandkids swim off the dock.

Just got back from spending a week with family and friends at Camp Chiffy. This is a beautiful property with everything you need for a great time in the Adirondacks! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make great meals, the lawn is ample space for yard games, the camp is spacious and very comfortable! Wonderful vacation!

Stayed at Camp Chiffy for a week with our extended family this past July. House couldn't have been better! Each family took a 'level' ! Common areas are great, kitchen very well stocked, 3 bathrooms was more than awesome, location of house just perfect. we rented a boat for the week so having the docks was great. If I had a question, Vincent got right back to me. House was very clean and comfortable! We all agreed that we would come back in a heartbeat!!! Old Forge is a very special place and Camp Chiffy made it even moreso

I cannot say enough about the owner and his property, this was our third time renting with vinny and each and every time it does not disappoint. There were some pleasant upgrades this year a new air conditioner in the main area which works AMAZING and the new fire pit which we enjoyed as many nights as we could. Thank you Again Vinny for sharing your home with our family we can't wait to come back next year!

We had a wonderful week at Camp Chiffy! The home was beautiful.and comfortable and had everything we needed! And the proximity to the lake was amazing! The view was absolutely beautiful! We were able to rent a pontoon boat and go into the adorable town of Old Forge whenever we needed! Vinny was super helpful, and check in and check out were super easy! We had a wonderful week and would definitely do it again!

This is our 3rd year spending our family vacation in Old Forge, but our first year at Camp Chiffy. We were happy with every aspect of the house. We enjoyed the ability to kayak from the channel into the pond, bike into old forge to shop or get coffee. We played tennis on the public courts near the beach area, and enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings. This house was warmer feeling than where we stayed last year. Mr. Chiffy is an incredible host. Easy to reach, but we didnt have any issues with the house to bother him with. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils and cookware, much better than some houses. Its also a plus that they provide sheets and towels for guests. I plan to book fir next year as soon as i send this!

Vinny is a responsive and thoughtful host. The house worked really well for a big family. We rented a pontoon boat through Clark’s which was a great addition to our vacation. Old Forge is a nice town and the lakes and mountains are beautiful.

Three generations share this 3 level inviting property. Enjoyed the kayaks and fire pit on the property. Easy access to Old Forge for walking or eating...our favorite restaurant Frankies. Planning to return.
