ROOM: The "2 bedroom Suite with ocean view" was beautiful, spacious, well furnished with super comfortable beds & pillows and a lovely large terrace with a view over the pool and small views of the sea on each side of the huge restaurant roof in front. The full kitchen in the suite would have been wonderful if there had been any kitchen equipment to use with it. Bathrooms were very spacious, plenty of hot water but low pressure. No hairdryers available. There are alot of stairs to get from the reception/restaurant/pool area up to the suites and then ours was the top floor so more stairs. POOL: The pool is fabulous - large with deep and shallow areas and interesting design. It was very clean and well maintained. There were not enough sun loungers or sun umbrellas as in all resorts. FOOD: The restaurant has a good menu but sadly the food that comes out of the kitchen is very hit and miss - sometimes it was great (eg a couple of burgers) and you could order the same meal on 3 days and have 3 totally different experiences. BREAKFAST: The breakfasts were TRULY TERRIBLE, cold uncooked eggs, badly cooked other items, pastries that a knife couldn't cut through, totally undrinkable coffee. Unfortunately, there was nowhere else to go and because there were no pots, pans, plates or anything else in the suites full kitchen, we couldn't cook our own.

BREAKFAST: the breakfast food was totally awful every day - cold uncooked eggs, rubberised pastries that a knife can't cut through, coffee that is literally undrinkable (and we've been travelling around Indonesia for 2 months now so have plenty of experience) RESTAURANT: In general, the restaurant food is poor standard, though some meals were good. Hit and miss. ATTITUDE: The staff often were not particularly friendly - not unfriendly but just not very interested or attentive. So unusual in Indonesia. We felt that the resort simply needs a new Manager who is fully involved and interested and takes good care of the staff and pays attention to detail. PRESENTATION: the pool cleaning equipment stored right in the lovely view of the pool from the restaurant and sun loungers. there is a screen available but it wasn't used to hide the equipment from view. The rubbish under/behind the stairs to our unit, dirty dishes, a portacot with a duvet dumped in it, heaps of beer bottles and just general untidiness. The abandoned suites in the next level up along the hillside - overgrown and looking creepy and ugly. Again, part of the view from the pool and restaurant. 5 STARS?: It's expected that a 5 star resort would provide a hairdryer in every room. The Sundancer Beach Club across the road played loud inappropriate music the entire time. No wonder they had very few customers. Lots of rubbish in the water and on the beach.

This hotel has already seen its glory days. It has a beautiful pool and nice, spacious rooms. However, they are in need of some renovations. You have to cross the street to get to the beach. The massages are wonderful.

Unfortunately, it wasn't clean. We had a room on the first floor, and under our stairs, there was a terrible mess—empty beer bottles, plates, and some cartons. I thought it was left over from cleaning after the previous guests, but it wasn't cleaned up the entire time we were there. The breakfasts were really poor, not tasty at all. It seems like the staff doesn't put much effort into their work. There's literally nothing next to the hotel, and getting a taxi is a problem. On our first night, we wanted to go out for something to eat; the staff told us it was nearby, but it turned out to be a 25-minute walk down a dark road with our kids. Fortunately, the restaurant had an extra scooter and took the kids back one by one. The price of this hotel does not match the standard at all.

Large pool, staff, the beach surrounding by small island call gillis. Activities such as snorkeling can be done by private or group. A lot of fish on beautifull coral.

Seems tolerable

We had a fantastic time at the Sundancer! We’ve been there for four nights and didn’t want to leave. Everything was great. Beautiful and very clean accomodation which is well maintained. The staff were the best. Haris, Kirana, Adam and the rest of the staff: many thanks for everything! We hope to come back soon!

The staff were incredible and the resort overall is beautiful. There are views of the water from the balcony. If you are looking for a reclusive vacation where you stay in, read, tan and spend time by the pool this is the perfect space. It also seemed like a great place for families with huge rooms and kitchens.

The wifi wasn't very good and the resort was about 1.5 hours from Mataram / Senggigi and about 1.5 hours from Kuta, the two main tourist areas. It was really hard to go around from the resort, because we had to commute over 3 hours a day just to go and come from the city and calling taxi's wasn't ideal because they didn't want to drive that far. The beach was also not cleaned or ready for guests to use so it was really just the pool that was available

The view from the pool side villa is well worth the stay! It was spectacular

We stayed in the pool villa and the view was spectacular to say the least! We loved that the room service was available so we didn’t even have to leave our villa for anything! Breakfast was included which was a floating breakfast and it was totally unexpected and we felt very spoilt! Highly recommend for couples who want a romantic getaway and just chill! The staff are beautiful and friendly and very welcoming and accommodating! Nothing to fault at all! Great value for money!

I stayed in Villa with private pool up the hill , very nice views , cool good size clean private pool , very good breakfast , very comfortable bed , kitchen with important needs and a microwave also ,

We went there on may 2023 , since hotel is newly opened after the pandemic , it’s only the pool and restaurant that are running , other services still under renovations ,,, Lots and lots of lizards, insects and ants in and around the room and in the open type bathroom ,,, hotel did not use any means to stop them from visiting the guest rooms Toilet moving needs maintenance,, Beach club still not functioning ,,
