My wife and I were planning a Pocono getaway. We wanted something near Bushkill Falls which we visited for a day. I happened to find Elena’s property and the location is perfect about 15 minutes away. The house is beautiful inside with great woodsy decor, creating a cozy and inviting feeling. Having the creek behind the house was a major draw and it was so peaceful getting to listen to the water in the morning as the leaves fell off the trees. The sun hitting the water created some awesome picture opportunities as well. Even saw a few deer and a whole family of wild turkeys walked by. The jacuzzi and fire pit were other highlights for us. Elena made it a wonderful stay by giving us a guide to the house, community rules, check in and out instructions as well as local attractions. She even had some s’mores supplies waiting for us which was so nice. Couldn’t have had a better experience and highly recommend!! We plan on making a return trip in the future!

What a great place to stay if you want to relax, everything in the house was very clean and easy to find anything you were looking for. Beds were very comfortable and the outside area to the creek was fantastic. I highly recommend this house to anyone.

The property was cozy, quaint, relaxing. The instructions were very well marked within the house. Quirky and Cleanliness. It was such a great time to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area. Elena gave great recommendations on nearby restaurants and things to do in the area. We loves it and will define visit again!

House is exactly as described. Make sure to read everything in the listing and everything Elena sends you and you will be well prepared and there will be no surprises. Elena is a great host is very quick to respond to any questions/issues you may have.The creek was what sold us on this property and it did not disappoint! Coffee in the morning just listening to the water sitting on the little deck was so relaxing. If you are going to go into the creek make sure to have water shoes the rocks can be slippery and or sharp. The house is very clean and well kept.most of our time was spent outside by the creek or on the deck. There are houses close by as stated.one immediately next door(red one) but luckily for us no one was there. The other house was occupied and slightly noisy the first night and a couple houses down there were several loud children running all over snd through the creek,not during quiet hours but it is something to be aware you will see and hear the neighbors so if you are looking for complete peace and quiet probably not the place for you. Several deer stopped by everyday to say hello, a family of ducks swam across the creek saw a frog and a harmless little snake in the firepit and saw turkeys crossing the road while driving through the development pretty cool!Overall it was a wonderful stay and we'd definitely come back for the creek miss it already!

Had a wonderful stay. The house was exactly as described, clean and the host was responsive. The backyard is incredible, with a nice size deck, firepit/grill area and a dock at the edge of a stream. Truly a relaxing place close to major pocono amenities.

Relaxation!
We really enjoyed our short stay this weekend! The home was very cozy and smaller than it looked on the website. We were all a bit surprised by the decor but it grew on us. If you are looking for absolute relation, this is the place for you. I do think the rental is a bit overpriced.

Great place for the weekend
Property 5 star , owner 5star , community only 4 stars as every time you leave the community you have to go thru the gate, one gate only open and 20 min wait time due to new visitors that have to go thru check in process. That’s the only thing that I would improve but that’s not something that owner can do. It just the rules

We had a great time at your rental. We went with our adult children and thier boyfriends and everyone had a great time! The house and property were exactly as described. Wonderful place to spend some time with family or friends!

Best vacation ever
Definitely don't rent this property, as it will fill your head with dreams of owning your own place so you never have to leave. You'll spend tons of time online - even though you swore you wouldn't touch the internet on the trip - googling things like "houses for sale for cheap," "how to double your income without working harder," and "Is it a smart idea to cash out your 401k to buy a vacation property?"
Everything that could have provided a challenge (narrow driveway, bad reception) was explained far in advance. The neighborhood is amazing, the area is amazing, the house is amazing. The creek is gorgeous, so even if you don't want to leave the house to enjoy the amenities, you will have a wonderful time.

Yard was great the house not so much
The house was to have air conditioning.what it had was 2 floor units. It was 90 in the house. did call the owner she told us how to get it running. The upstairs tubes keep falling out so the temp was 90. The house smells musty it needed a dehumidifier also full of spiders and bugs .will not stay again

The best view and location!
The house is very clean and nicely decorated.
It's located in a gated community with lots of amenities that can be useful. But the most important thing is the view - the property has access to a creek. If you make a right and walk along the creek you'll find a small waterfall.
We baked potatoes in a campfire, met a deer, a black squirrel (never seen black ones before), and a very serious gigantic frog (don't know how to attach pictures here, but they are definitely worth of sharing).
Our kids absolutely loved it.
This was our second stay here and we hope to come back again.

Loved it
Beautiful cabin with the view of a creek very beautiful. It was a great experience. Cabin was very clean and had all the essentials which modern homes have. The kids absolutely loved it specially the fire pit. Would definitely recommend and hoping to go back in the summer.

Super cute cottage!
In a great area that's like a giant campground for adults, this cottage is very charming and has a rad 80s jacuzzi and a vhs player - my kinda joint! The indoor tennis courts we're really nice, too. The creek in the yard is so lovely and soothing, we would love to return.

Nice creekside cabin getaway in the Poconos!
Great little cabin, wonderful location on the creek, which is really like a tributary! Beds were comfortable, cabin is cozy, kitchen is well stocked.15 minute drive to Bushkill Falls, nice 2 hour hike to see waterfalls. 20-25 minute drive to Poconos Environmental Education Center and more “rustic” trail hiking. Be sure to bring bath towels. Whirlpool/pool at Community center is nice but no frills. Sandwiches and pub fare ok at Top of the World. Elena is very responsive and all questions were answered promptly.

Peaceful Gateway!
My family and I had a wonderful stay here! Elena was a great host- she was always helpful and checking in to make sure things were going well. The sound of the creek was so calming. We really had a great experience and missing it already! The owner was wonderful!

We had a wonderful time! It was a relaxing setting with lots of amenities in the community!
Even though the property is not the most updated, we had everything we needed! Our kids loved the jacuzzi tub, we enjoyed making s'mores and mountain pies in the fire pit, and listening to the creek on the meditation deck! Elena texted to check in to see if we arrived without a problem and checked in again to see if we needed anything! Overall a wonderful, relaxing family vacation that we all enjoyed!

Great Family Get-Away!
Our family of six spent 4 nights at this beautiful cabin! Elena was amazing every step of the way! The kids enjoyed playing in the creek, s'mores over an open fire and just playing family games in this beautiful cabin! Our 6 month old little girl loved watching all the wildlife surrounding the cabin and listening to the water flow down the creek! It was also her first time seeing a fire and she was amazed! We made so many great memories in this cabin! This is a vacation that we will never forget! Thank you!!!

Peaceful and sweet retreat!
Elena's place was absolutely gorgeous! I needed a retreat from the city and when I found this place I knew that was it. Elena is a great host, she was always willing to help, answered all my questions really quick, was always sweet and polite. The place is just fantastic! Everything is enough and nothing is too much. I loved the decor, enjoyed the fireplace, appreciated the location! Elena has everything you may need in her house, I just brought my food, drinks, woods for the fireplace and some scented candles for the atmosphere. The Shawnee is literally 15mins away so if you come on a winter time and you're a fan of skiing - this is a perfect option! I went to the mountain but mostly just enjoyed my book and the house next to the fireplace. Thank you so much Elena for everything!!! I had such a wonderful weekend! I'm definitely coming back!

enchanting, it exceeded our expectations!
We fell in love with property, the balcony facing the river, the rooms were very spacious and well decorated! specially the one ups stairs with the ceiling lighting! And the owner was very kind and helpful each step of the way. We certainly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back.

Elena was very responsive and had great info on the area
Property was clean and well kept. The kitchen is small(We knew this going in) but very workable and was not an issue. Any questions we had about the property or area Elena was quick to respond with helpful information. My only suggestion would to connect the external antenna to the television to be able to watch some local news/weather, otherwise the kids were happy to watch a movie or two from the dvd selection provided. If you play tennis the courts were almost always empty and the pool was nice and clean. Overall we had a great stay and really enjoyed the area.

Great Poconos getaway for the family!
I took the kids (4 and 7) to the house for spring break, and we loved every minute of it. The house is perfectly located next to the creek, the area is safe and wooded, and we were surrounded by so many things to do and see. Bushkill was amazing, and we spent so much time walking the creek or roasting marshmallows. Elena was absolutely wonderful with the arrangements, and the house was a great place to go, unplug, and relax. Highly recommended!

The house was clean, very welcoming feel.
Upon arrival we were impressed with how spacious and open the house was. The 3 bedrooms were more than enough. The customer service was outstanding, Elena was very helpful in suggestions on the area. The top of the mountain Spa was a highlight with the pool a big hit. The restaurant was 5 star with a full bar and televisions abound. The food, service and views of the mountains from the restaurant were breath taking. I would highly recommend this location as a great get-a-away. We will be back in Feb for skiing.

Quick fall getaway
Enjoyed the cabin on Saw creek. It was as described and met our needs for our family of 5. It was easy to navigate to with Elena's specific directions and she was very helpful with all of the details. I would def stay there again!

Peaceful
This was a perfect quiet romantic retreat for our anniversary. We enjoyed having our coffee on the back porch while listening to the soothing stream and watching the colorful leafs fall. The skylights made us feel surrounded in nature while inside. Elena was very accommodating.

I had not been there in one year and going back was the best it felt great like you never want to leave ,but I must say some people rent these home and have no respect for the owners that share these beautiful places with us . So shame on those people who violate that trust . But thank you ms. Elena .

My family had a wonderful time at Elena's property. She was wonderful with helping us get passes for the pools and lake and any questions we had about making our stay easy and wonderful. The location was perfect and it was great to get outside and hike or just be in nature. There are plenty of things to do in the area and it was a great get away. We arrived to a clean and beautiful home . We also really enjoyed the backyard deck and views while having our morning coffee. It was all incredibly relaxing. The stream across the backyard even has a "secret bench". Sounds of nature are everywhere. The owner respond very fast easy to deal with. My family was having a weekend gathering and there were no more bedrooms available in house we decided to look on the VRBO website. This was a great find on VRBO about 15 minutes from PMLE . I am sorry to say we didn't have a chance to use all the amenities this home had to offer. We just used this cozy home place for sleeping and morning coffee .

We loved staying at this property. The beds were all comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the selection of DVDs was great, even for our 10 year old. We used the barbecue and ate outside every evening. Mosquitos weren't even too bad, if we remembered to put on repellant! It could use a bit of light repair here and there, but it was comfortable and cozy. The pools on the Saw Creek Estate are great. We used them every day.

If you are looking for a relaxing cottage in the woods, this is it. We loved the porch swing, the deck by the stream, and the comfy couches. The pools in the complex were lovely, though one was closed for a maintenance issue when we were there. The kitchen is well-equipped, and we cooked several beautiful meals there.
If you are bringing more than 5 people, be prepared to share beds. Some mattresses, and the cots, are not the most comfortable if you are picky about that.

The stay was one of the quiets and cozy homes I've been in... exactly what me and the family were looking for... a peaceful getaway with breathtaking scenery.... we have now considered moving closer to Bushkill area.
