Very relaxed atmosphere and location. Cabin nice amenities but needs some newer door curtains or blinds. Kitchen is very functional but small if more then 1 person prepping food and cooking. Even though weather wasn’t the greatest rained every day had plenty to do in the area for hiking and walks. Will definitely be back.

Amazing cozy romantic cabin. Highly recommend it for couples more so than families since it’s small but very nice. We barely left the cabin especially since we had the hot tub!

Adorable cabin in the woods. It had everything our family of five needed for a quick weekend getaway. Great location!

Cottage was cozy and sweet. Reccomend for 4 at the most. Service was incredibly poor. Dishwasher was broken since we checked. Despite numerous messages/ calls nobody came to fix. Checkout time is 10 but water was shutoff by 9 am while kids were getting ready.

We had an excellent stay. Everything was clean and the house was adorable. The bed in the loft did not seem to be a queen, it was a full, and the beds weren’t too comfortable, but nothing so bad that it ruined our stay there.

Cute and quaint. Perfect for our little family and within proximity of everything you need for a great Deep Creek vacation.

The cabin was very nice. Just a few things could be improved. One being the mattress in the first floor bedroom was very hard and uncomfortable. The 2nd night we were there by husband ended up sleeping on the love seat. Also, the door to the back patio needs a better curtain or blind for privacy. The neighbor’s light from their porch and kitchen shined right into our faces while trying to sleep. Maybe a privacy blind on the main door as well. I rated the cleanliness a 3 being there was a lot of dog or cat hair all over the furniture. My black night gown was covered in it when I got up off of it. We didn’t have an animal with us nor do We own one that sheds like that. Other than the animal hair and lack of privacy in bedroom our over all stay was very pleasant.

Always easy working with Reilly Real Estate. Not sure how Home Away is involved but I guess it's another marketing tool.

We were locked out for a period of time upon arrival due to the front door auto-locking when we were unloading our luggage. Our code was inside as we put our cell phones on the counter upon arrival. When we finally could call the emergency number listed on porch (from the neighbors phone)there was no answer. In cold temps you definitely need the fireplace as the electric heat will not keep up. We ran out of wood and had to tough it out the last day. Generally it is a nice cabin. Had everything we needed stocked for a great Christmas dinner. I would recommend and will stay again now that we learned some lessons from the first stay.

When we arrived there was a welcome beach bag which was filled with goodies, it definitely was a thoughtful surprise. This was our first trip to Deep Creek Lake and it won't be our last. There are many activities to enjoy outside- boating, hiking, kayaking, white water rafting, nature centers, water falls and an abundance of state parks. We had wonderful weather so we were able to dine outside at Uno's, the Green Turtle and the Bear Tavern and enjoyed ice cream several times at the Creamery. We can't wait to return !
