The best part of the property are the two blue chairs with a table on the porch. They are tall so you are able to see over the rail with views expanding the entire beach front. It is a perfect spot for watching the sun rise.

Reviewer Comments: Overall, our stay was thoroughly enjoyable.The villa is familiar to us from prior visits, and as such, always feels like coming back home. A few cobwebs in the occasional corner but clean enough for us. The range worked well but the control markings are worn away, so using its functions involves a fair amount of guesswork and intuition. Having lived in the Low Country it's never really a surprise to see "palmetto bugs"(cockroaches) roving about like a pack of feral chihuahuas, but it's still worrisome as you're going to bed. I get it: they're indigenous, ubiquitous. You might want to decrease their numbers(for a while) though. Thanks for another great week. Looking forward to returning in the Spring.

We loved the two chairs on the porch for morning coffee and evening drinks. The location can’t be beat. We had a smoke detector battery that needed replacing and it was taken care of right away.

It's very comfortable and we appreciated that it wasn't crowded with furniture. The kitchen was well equipped enough for light cooking. The countertop microwave could use an update as the turntable didn't function. The bathrooms and kitchen have been updated and there were plenty of towels for our stay. We were glad to have start up paper and cleaning products as well as 2 beach chairs which we didn't expect. The oceanfront view is outstanding and seeing the morning sun and moon rise over the water was the highlight. We'd be happy to stay here again in the future.

Nice unit, direct ocean front, easy beach access, very quiet. If you're a golfer it's a great location. We went to beach nearly every morn just to watch the sunrise. This unit was not as well appointed as other VRBO units we've rented in past trips. The negative would be, not as clean as we would have liked and the mattress was horrible. Would we stay here again? Yes, if the mattress was changed out

The property was perfect for a short stay. Decor was tasteful. The unit was clean and everything in place. It was unseasonably cool when we there, so we didn't take advantage of the deck. Howeyer, the ocean view from inside made up for that. No complaints at all. Hoping to return before to long.

Fortunately, the weather was kinder and being outside was no bother. This was our 5th stay on Kiawah and the 1st time we sprang for "beach front." Obviously, the soothing sounds of the surf were drowned out by the crew re-facing the cedar siding right next to us--in fact, two of their ladders spent the week plastered in front of our bedroom windows :( We realize these things need to get done, nevertheless, it was a bit of a bummer for us. Will learn to question rental agents better in the future since there was no indication that any improvements of the sort were going on when requesting info

It is a perfect location-easy access for walks on the beach and to bike trails, as well as for a walk over to East Beach for a sandwich. Everything you need is nearby; you don't have to leave the island. Condo is just right for a couple's getaway. Double sized shower, lots of drawer space in baths & bedroom, large walk in closet, comfy king bed, and separate 1/2 bath give it perfection. Thank you for providing extra towels and pillows. Could use a pair of tongs in the kitchen. Otherwise, all well-equipped. Will definitely plan on coming back.

The check-in process is very convenient, they responded to all issues very quickly and went above and beyond to address our concerns. We were very impressed with Akers Ellis late night delivery of dry ice to address the refrigerator issue and a bottle of chilled wine to replace our bottle that had gone warm!! We have visited Kiawah Island many times and have stayed in several of the Windswept units, all with recent updates and upscale appointments. From the description and photos of 4429 Windswept, we anticipated that this unit would meet our high expectations. Unfortunately the entire unit is in desperate need of a fresh coat of paint and also needs a real deep cleaning. Baseboards and many of the wall decorations had a thick layer of dust and I had to use half a bottle of Tilex to remove the mildew in the shower. Rugs, bedding and bedding linens are way past their useful life, the refrigerator struggled to stay cold, the kitchen granite is cracked at the seam and the touchpads on the microwave and settings on the stove knobs are practically worn off. And, please, don't get me started on the "palmetto" bugs we had to kill.(Ughhhh!) Although the unit's location is perfect and the view is amazing, in its present condition, we really can not recommend it to other vacationers.

Your team was fabulous. Definitely a 5. We had a couple minor issues that were dealt with very promptly. Will definitely use y'all again.
