A beautiful apartment with everything one would need.
The hostess was great and gracious about the discrepancy with (VRBO-caused) charges. A great point to start your exploration of the area. Just make sure you understand the apartment is 120 steps up from the sidewalk :-)

This was our first visit to the Cinque Terre and we loved it! Monterosso was the perfect place to stay and Margherita was a wonderful host. The apartment is 120 steps up. So we had to plan our day well. But it was worth every step! There are beautiful views from the balcony and we kept the doors open to enjoy the breeze (the apartment does have AC which we used at night). The apartment is just a short distance from the train station, which was very convenient, and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We highly recommend this apartment!

The apt is extremely nice. Everything is top notch. Unique devote in each room. Our only regret were the stairs. Approx 130. So be prepared!!

Casa Maganoza is a perfect setting to explore Cinque Terre. The view from the balcony is spectacular and worth every step up the stairs! Well maintained apartment and very nicely decorated with added extras. Highly recommend and would love to return.

Wonderful! Hostess met us at the train and even had a porter for a charge carry our luggage 120 steps. The place was clean and modern. Loved the views of the ocean from the living room and one bedroom. Hope we can come back and stay longer.

A lovely VRBO. Comfy bed. Plenty of hot water, kitchen stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal. Very fast response to texting. We were not prepared for the 121 outside steps up to the place. A challenge with luggage. We were offered to get help with carrying luggage but we are too frugal to pay for that! Views are stunning and you are super close to train station and restaurants, gelato and coffee shops. :)

What a beautiful beach house on a hill! We loved it. Close to everything. We had to walk up to this beautiful property. It was well worth the steps once you got to heaven.

This apartment is amazing. Beautiful views for miles. My only recommendation is to arrange in advance for a porter to help with bags. We loved our stay and would highly recommend!

This was one of the best places we stayed in all of our travels in Italy. The decor was updated and modern and looked very clean. The view is worth every single penny. We spent many mornings and evenings out on the balcony overlooking the beach. It is not a block to view. It is perfection.

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment very much. It was clean, comfortable and so cute. I wish we would have been here for several more days. Perfect for our family and the view was unbeatable.

I loved everything about this apartment, plenty of room to spread out! Loved the balcony off the bedroom and living room! And the view, wow!!! Only negative if there is one is the 120 stairs to get to it but a good way to workoff those calories. Would definitely stay here again, but would stay longer. Thanks for everything Margarita

We loved Casa Magonza. As two couples it had everything we could have asked for, plus spectacular coastal views. The in-person check-in was personable and covered everything. Monterosso itself is has all the bars and restaurants you need and serves as a good base for exploring all of Cinque Terre. The steps may be a challenge for some so consider a porter on arrival, especially if you have large or heavy luggage. Highly recommended.

The property and view were absolutely amazing. Looks exactly like the photos. Woke up each morning listening to the beach, just marvellous! There is no lift, so be prepared to carry your luggage up stairs. Usually someone is there to help but not always so pack light, no stairs in Monterosso

What a perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of Cinque Terre and Monterosso! Yes, the climb up is most definitely worth the effort as the view is outstanding! We enjoyed morning coffee and evening Prosecco taking in the panoramic view! The accommodations were sparkling clean and Margherita was very helpful checking us in and getting us acquainted with the area. The location is perfect for exploring the old/new town and other small villages! We look forward to returning!

The host was easy to communicate with and has her apartment set up perfectly for guests. We stayed in 10 apartments over seven weeks and this was by far the cleanest and most comfortable. The views of the sea are amazing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Monterosso. The apartment is immaculate, spacious, very well stocked and comfortable...even better than the photos, with a great location. The view is breathtaking. There is a grocery story just around the corner. Communication with the owner was easy. The parking lot is nearby and the rail station is a five minute walk. The steps up to the unit were no problem, my husband and I are both 66 years old. As others have mentioned, the view is well worth the climb. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute in this property. If it's available, book it!

Top notch place, once you get over the fact of having about 130 steps to reach this fabulous, well appointed apartment! All amenities, with such a gorgeous backdrop! Moon rising, jazz from nearby... truly idyllic. Thankful to have a porter move our bags!

Second time here, hope it isn’t the last!
We stayed with Margherita in June 2018 and vowed to come back because the place is amazing, and Margherita is so helpful and kind. The views are to-die-for, the place is neat, clean, well-equipped, spacious, and genuinely one of my and my wife’s favorite places in the world. We can’t wait to make our third trip, hopefully sooner than four years!

We loved this location, the cozy couch and view from everywhere one can see. The bed was very comfortable. All was spotless. And we enjoyed the breeze from the doors to the balconies in both the living space and master bedroom. Our favorite fine dining restaurant across all of Cinque terre, La Taverna di Monterosso, was just steps away. Many steps, but worth the view and peaceful space. Will definitely stay here again.
