This was an absolutely gorgeous and spacious apartment. It was a great location. I would highly recommend it.

This apartment was exactly as advertised: large, with all listed amenities. The walk to and from Porta Messina was quick and easy. The host was easy to get in touch with and our stay was without complications. The view was incredible and we would whole-heartedly recommend this town, this apartment, and this vacation!

We stayed 3 nights at Casa Corvaja in July 2018. We were 4 travellers: my husband, my two children (11 & 13) and myself. I really enjoyed being so close to the centro storico. We walked everywhere: to the odeon theatre, to the corso Umberto, the Teatro Antico, to the piazza IX di Aprile, etc...The appartment is perfectly located - close to restaurants, stores, the corso. The appartment is clean, the AC works perfectly, the WIFI as well and the washing is quite easy to understand. Francesco and his father Mimmo really went above and beyond with us. Francesco took time from his busy schedule to sit down with us and explain how to get to the areas we wanted to visit. He had left touristic informations as well such as the Etna excursion, the beach, map of the area. He also left us his selection of places to go eat witch was a huge help in a city you don't know. Mimmo helped us get out a very perilous misadventure. We could not have done it without him. He was so calm, cool and collective and he managed to calm me down in the process (witch is NOT an easy task!). It's the kindness of people like this that really makes a difference in a trip in a foreign country. Grazie per tutto a voi due! Working with Francesco was wonderful, unfortunately we had requested a 4 BR home and he had 2 bedrooms and a third room (living room) he said could be made into a Bedroom. It was a lovely home except the description on VRBO was not correct so we had to make adjustments for our sleeping arrangements. Also there was no air conditioning in one of the bedrooms only a fan and it was very hot. A/C was listed but he only had it in 2 rooms.

Ambra Francesco is most helpful and gentlemen. He made our stay at Casa Corvaja 2 very pleasant. Here are couple of highlights of his going out of the way. Our flight to Catania got delayed on Saturday night - so we were worried if the rental car place would stay open till late - from London We asked and he obliged by calling Italy Car Rental an assured us it will stay open. Secondly - he sent us exact GPS link for Casa - despite of that we got lost in Taormina - late that night. We called him to help - he said just wait there - he came round with his scooter and escorted us to his Casa Corvaja - which would have being practically impossible for us. He actually took time off his work that night to help us. And of top of all this he got us fresh croissants after his night shift and left it out there for us. The Casa Corvaja 2 is clean and good facilities. Thank you so much
