I love the yard. I like the trees and very confortable patio to relax.

It has birds` poop under the main entrance. I have to reserve for breakfast, there is no a permanent caffeteria

The property is lovely. The room is exceptionally nice. Rotunda Park is only one block away and it’s an amazing park. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Altogether a wonderful place to stay in Portoviejo!

We were very happy with our stay here. We weren’t quite sure what to expect, and we walked in and it smelled so clean and refreshing. They keep it sparkling clean and were very kind and welcoming. We were traveling with our grown son and the rooms are small so they could only accommodate two per room. We got two separate rooms right next to each other which was just fine. It was not a big fancy hotel but perfect stay and perfectly clean if you are not wanting to pay huge prices. It wasa quaint and very well taken care of place. I was very impressed with it. The outside patio area was beautiful. Highly recommend.

The only suggestion I had for them was to turn up the water heater. The shower was just lukewarm but I told them and they said they would take care of it.

Excelente trato

Great location to the park. Fairly centrally located to bars and restaurants.... but many little markets and small food located on the area. Great room with refrigerator and air conditioning. 24 hours super help and attentive. Overall great experience and would recommend.

Not there fault but make sure to have bug repellent when coming to manabi way more mosquitoes then in the bigger cities.

A cosy hostel with very friendly staff. Nice, modern bathroom. Good breakfast in additional price and really worth it. I can warmly recommend Platanal to any traveller.
