The house is recently refurbished with quality finishes and very well equipped. The location is ok. A very short drive to Warren Dunes (small entry fee) that has a huge main beach and a great dog beach to the north where you can get some space if willing to walk., plus nice hiking. The back yard has woods that back onto I-94 freeway, which is heard but not seen. With an old concrete pad that lacks privacy, it just wasn’t a very inviting space to hang out.

We enjoyed the spacious cottage, comfortable mattresses, large dining table, record player and record collection, well equipped kitchen with large pots and good knives. For a family of 6 this cottage was ideal!

We had a wonderful time. The home had everything you need and then some. It was like staying at a friends house. We were there for my daughter’s wedding weekend and everyone that stopped by complimented the home. It was a great place to stay, quiet comfortable, and wonderful hosts.

Had a great time spending a long weekend here. The inside is very well done with an open kitchen and beautifully decorated living and dining rooms. There’s also several seating options outside and a VERY close driving to the dunes. Would stay again!

We had such a comfortable stay here! Felt right at home. The location is great too and just across the way from the Warren Dunes for hiking and the beach. Carla left great recommendations for restaurants and activities nearby. Also if you're into antique shopping, Red Arrow Highway is full of anituque and vintage shops!

This great three-bedroom house is just five minutes to Warren Dunes, one of North America’s most beautiful stretches of beach. The house is well equipped and comfortable, and near to wineries, fruit farms, restaurants and other local attractions. Some highway noise disturbs the peace in the back yard. Highly recommend!

This property was perfect for our family. The “kids” range in age from 6-24 so we need variety and down time and this fit the bill. Loved the property. Well maintained and well stocked.

All the amenities were available in this beautifully appointed home. We were very happy with everything! Our daughters enjoyed the property as did we. Very close to all the area has to offer. The only feedback is that the yard could use a bit more privacy.

This property is beautifully decorated. The location is a short drive to the beach. It would be an easy bike ride. It is obvious that the owners put in the effort to make this house clean, cozy, and stocked. The beds are very comfortable and there are plenty of blankets and pillows. The back yard had a comfortable area to have conversations around a campfire. The owners were quick to respond to questions. I would definitely recommend this house and possibly come back in the future.

I come to Michigan often, as my sister has a lake house and a restaurant out there (Susan’s sawyer, check it out) but I wanted some more space to myself this trip so I rented from Carla. The place is just as described, super clean, great location. Plenty of beds for guests to sleep made it a very comfortable stay. I would highly recommend staying here!

My wife and I and our two dogs had a great getaway at this cute cottage. It was beautifully decorated and had all of the amenities we needed. Even better than in the pictures. It is conveniently located close to the Warren Dunes. Would highly recommend!

The property I feel is a little pricey for what we anticipated. I was told by the owner that the cleaning crew needed to clean the property and she would get back to me because we were seeing what time we could go to property to drop our belongings there. When we entered the facility there were spiders and cobwebs all over the corners of the rooms and in kitchen. The fireplace did not work. Nor were there any instructions for that. Back yard was messy. The lock box for the key was very difficult to get open. The stove in the kitchen was dirty. When we attempted to heat something in the oven smoke came out setting fire alarms off. The rooms were nice to sleep in. Not sure if air or heat worked. Instructions left were outdated probably when they first opened. area was okay but off the beaten path. some of the furniture was very dirty looked like resale stuff. They said washer and dryer was not to be used in manual but how do you clean and dry your towels. When they say Beach House it is not on the beach nor is the beach close. Other than that it was a fairly nice place but would not stay there again.

I stayed here for my wedding weekend. The house was perfect for hosting hair, makeup and photos with my bridesmaids! I can’t wait to see how our photos turned out. Overall the place was very clean and everyone (including myself) was so impressed with the Decor!
