We loved the whole place! Room big enough to put a playpen up with smaller ones made it so easy and still had room. We finally found a house with a gate on the desk so our smallest one couldn’t go down the stairs! Love it! It was so easy to get a hold of the host for anything thing we had questions about and even took the time to call us.

Just celebrated 4th of July with family and friends at Sunny Days and will look into renting this location again. Huge deck, accommodating corridors, and a great location to be on the beach in a minute or less. Thankful for the bunk beds to allow the kids to enjoy their “sleep overs” with siblings and friends. Thank you for allowing us to stay there and will be back to surfside soon!

No way directly on to beach. Homes in front of you have boardwalks but nothing for second row homes. Have to get in the car and go around the corner. Water condition is poor, stinks like rotten eggs, didn’t use to brush teeth and no one wanted to shower it smelled so bad. Signs up from 2021 say the area is having a water issue.

Water could have a purification system. Water smell horrible

Excellent communication from the host!!! The best I've ever had. This location is perfect for access to the beach, viewing the waves and relaxing. Everything was perfect. There is enough room for a party of 8 to eat together and hang out.

House was perfect. Clean and neat. Comfortable. Host was an excellent Host. If I had a suggestion, I would have liked to have a couple of tall Deck Chairs in left hand corner of deck. Very good view

Quantity of silverware was not enough for the number of authorized quests Tap water quality was bad for drinking but totally out of owner's control May have to address closing of outside shower door eventually

We are repeat visitors, enjoying another relaxing stay at Sunny Days! House was clean and comfortable, kitchen well stocked with necessities. Layout is perfect for those who want to cook while staying engaged with family. Literally steps to the beach walkover!

We will definitely Rent again, it was close to the beach, but peaceful. We enjoyed our stay!

This was a great home with quick and easy access to the beach. The owner was super responsive and helpful. It was two of our kids first trip to the gulf and they enjoyed every second!

We were using this as a second house due to our large family reunion, it was clean and a good refuge for the adults who wanted a break from the young children

The house was nicely appointed and our family had a great time. However, there were a few things we were unaware of when booking, the big one being Surfside does not have potable water! The water is yellow out of the tap and we did not know we needed to bring drinking water until the host messaged us the day before our arrival. Also, hope you like crowds and chemical refineries near the beach! The host and house were great, but we should have done a little more research on the area.

We loved the updated interior and easy beach access. The outside shower was very nice for rinsing off too. Our family of 8 found this to be a perfect space!

Property was very clean and stocked with basics (utensils, soaps, cleaning stuffs). Linens were very nice quality and clean. The location was convenient with a decked walk-over to the beach at the neighbors house. An enclosed outside warm shower to scrub all our sandy kids before going inside was SO NICE.

The house was comfortable and accommodated our families well. View and gulf sounds were awesome from front deck! Beach crossover is literally steps away. We hope to return next year!

This house is meticulously clean and excellent beach decor throughout. A lot of space and rooms for everyone. Less than 2 min walk to the beach...perfect to avoid the large crowds and spending more $$ for less in Galveston. Mosquitoes are bad in the general area so bring a lot of bug spray.

We loved the location of this property, being just 1 row from beach front. The ocean was clearly still heard and seen, but the row of homes between us blocked the very windy weather and help keep sand down inside the home. The home was cutely decorated and had plenary of space for 4 adults, 2 teens and an elementary child to spread out without bumping into each other to much. Upon arrival we saw a pile of crawfish that had been dumped off the deck of our house and was absolutely rotten. I emailed the owner right away and they had the cleaning person come pick up the mess the next morning. The owner was very prompt in response to my email. Cooking utensils were adequate. We used the coffee maker, several pots, a metal cake pan as a cookie sheet, silverware & dinnerware for the 7 of us. Fridge was full sized. Dishwasher worked well and dish detergent was provided. The hand mixer was broken though & would not turn the beaters. Also, the only sponge in the house smelled terribly and there were no kitchen wash clothes. The sink drain was not cleaned out and smelled of fish. Also the drip pans on the range top were very dirty. Beds were comfortable and each bedroom was nicely decorated. The bathroom had bath towels and hand towels for each of the 7 of us, plus extras. Toilets & showers were clean. Laundry detergent was provided, which was nice since we did laundry daily, from being in the ocean. Overall a good stay, but could use a little touching up in the cleaning of the kitchen between guests.

We wanted a pre-summer getaway with friends who had all been vaccinated. It was raining but we played games and ate good food. The house had recently been refurbished and was bright and stylish. We’d rent again here. Access to the beach was a little tricky from the 2nd row. Overall a very restful time.

Overall we really enjoyed the property. There were a few details that need to be attended to.....toilet paper rolls falling off wall, paint peeling in shower, dirty broom/mop in closet and one sitting on deck, (didn't inspire faith in the cleaning), front door needs paint.

Even though this house is not directly on the beach, it feels like it, since it has a clear view of the beach and is just a few steps to the boardwalk to the beach. We really enjoyed the laidback atmosphere of surfside beach, and the beach itself is great, it had lots of room for us to hang out, relax and play. The house itself had everything we needed and was very comfortable for our large family of 8. We really liked the large deck and spent a lot of our time on it. There is also a cool little local souvenir shop a short walk from the house.

We were gathering for a family reunion - we had rented three different houses in Surfside. This property was clean and a great location. I would recommend a few more basic supplie (bath mats, oven mitts, hangers - we ended up buying some) and a few towels. But overall, it was a wonderful rental!

This place is fantastic. While not beach front, the views from the deck are still excellent, and the beach is a one minute walk. They've done a number of upgrades recently to make the stay even more comfortable. Will definitely look to stay here again.

The house is located so you can step out on the deck and have a beautiful ocean view. The house is spacious and we enjoyed our family time here. Nice large kitchen table worked well for us.

Neighbors were very loud partying till 3-4AM, but the house is nice, roomy, very close to the beach.
