What an amazing property! The host was so accommodating and went the extra mile to make this weekend memorable for guests. The property is gorgeous and the guests thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Without hesitation I would book another stay at the Green Hill Ranch!

We had an amazing family reunion at this gorgeous and historic property. Could not have asked for anything. Everything we needed was there.

This property was PERFECT for our family reunion starting with the convenient location near both Sacramento and San Francisco airports to all the accommodations. Our 18 family members range from 20 months old to 82 years old. Every one slept comfortably and had plenty to do. We made good use of the pool, sport court, BBQ patio, game room, and front porch. The house and cottages have plenty of supplies and the garage is full of sporting equipment and toys. We could not have been happier with this property. The owner, Kathleen, is amazing! She made several suggestions which made organizing our reunion easy and she was readily available to answer questions before and during our stay. We paid extra to have Kathleen arrange for a dinner to be prepared for us. We choose a traditional holiday meal and had delicious turkey with all the fixings. She went out of her way to accommodated all our special dietary needs. Well worth the extra cost. You will not be disappointed. This place is perfect for a fun gathering for all ages. We will be back.

We had a great stay and everyone we dealt with were polite and so nice; made the process and experience that much better. Will definitely stay again if the occasion arises!

Absolutely wounderful

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with our entire family at this fabulous home. There were 22 of us in all ranging in age from 2-77 years old. The property is beautiful. The house is quite spacious with plenty of room for everyone to sleep, relax, play games, eat meals, and just enjoy life. I think the host has thought of absolutely everything to ensure our comfort. There are lots of activities for everyone of all ages to do. We love spending time on the porch, swimming and relaxing by the pool, having some fierce water volleyball games. We had a two day tennis tournament on the fenced tennis/basketball court. This was our second time staying at this beautiful home and we are already planning the next vacation. Amazing memories are built each time we stay here. Our host anticipated all of our needs and she has been very available whenever I needed to talk with her. We highly recommend nthis property!

I chose this spot for our family reunion. My family was concerned that early August would be too hot. It was not. Yes, we used the ac that came with every part of the house, but we spent nearly every waking hour on the porch playing cards, in the pool, or trying some archery on the front lawn. In addition to the main house and honeymoon cottage, we also rented the caretaker's cottage. This had two more bedrooms plus a gourmet kitchen. I highly recommend doing this. We made all our meals in the gourmet kitchen and set up the food in the house kitchen. From there, everyone sat on the numerous tables and chairs that are on the front lawn to eat dinner. The pool was large and clean, and had even more seating areas all around it. The owner was super responsive to my requests to fine-tune the pool temperature to my 86 year-old mom's liking. The kids ranged in age from ten months to teenagers. There were toys in the billiard room, land to explore, basketball, tennis, pickleball, ping pong, and a large yard to run around in. Everyone was entertained and we never turned on the tv. We had several electric vehicles in the group that were charged on site. What is my complaint? We were so happy with the house and all it had to offer that we never explored the surrounding community. We will have to come back and do that next time.

Very nice property. Quiet, spacious, relaxing. The pool could have been a little cleaner, but the large tree close by had everything to do with it.

Our extended family had such a wonderful stay at Green Hills Ranch. Everything was just perfect. Our family plans on booking every summer. It is an ideal get-a-way! Property manage was great too. Very attentive. Five star rating by every family member.

So charming and comfortable! Entire family loved it and we will probably use it again to get everyone together. Only VERY MINOR thing was I felt the outdoor furniture could have been cleaner. Lots of dust and leaves but overall a most enjoyable time by all.

What a beautiful place to stay. So much space for our group and the amenities are amazing. Everything we could have possibly needed was provided for. We will definitely be back.

Green Hill Ranch is a rare gem - beautiful, spacious, private without being far away from civilization and so welcoming! There is such a feeling of calm as soon as you set foot on that magnificent front porch. I highly recommend you vacation in a more peaceful century by staying in this wonderful home.

Beyond expectations . Historic, roomy house with every amenity supplied, including pumped basketballs, ping pong paddle/balls, etc and lovely pool. Super fun.

Wow, what a house! We stayed for 4 nights for our son’s wedding nearby. We had lots of family visit during the day, and everyone was amazed by the house. It is huge, beautiful, interesting and very comfortable. Best of all, the hostess went out of her way to answer my many many questions so I could be sure my elderly parents would be comfortable - and they were. Thank you Kathleen!

Four generations of about 23 family members gathered at Green Hill Ranch for our first ever reunion - and it was magical. Welcoming Main House as well as Honeymoon and Caretaker's Cottage were as advertised, only better. Pool couldn't have been better - warm water, clean, close to all. By day Canada geese flying overhead and at night listening to great horned owls talking back and forth in the trees. From basketball to pool competitions, lawn games to sitting on the porch with our guitars, whistles, and small harp, there was something for everyone to do. Thanks for such a fantastic setting for our family. We're hoping we can do it again in a couple of years.

Green Hill Ranch was perfect for my Gilmore Girls themed bachelorette! We had so much fun exploring the home and grounds and relaxing in the pool! The caretaker was very sweet and responsive. Definitely want to come back again! Thank you!

It was a perfect place for nine adults and six children. Three generations. It was like being at camp. The kids could play tennis, swim, cornhole, baseball, you name it. The adults could join in or sit on the front porch and enjoy the time. We loved the whimsical touches of the decor. Made you feel like you were back in time when things moved a lot slower. Just what we needed for vacation. Kat and Holly were so gracious to us. We will definitely come back again.

What an amazing, picturesque property which was the perfect fit for our large family! The location is ideal, off the beaten path in a beautiful and friendly community. We loved the quick access to the lake and walking paths but truthfully didn’t choose to leave the property because it was fully self contained. There were options for everyone, from relaxation, swimming, soo many games and activities, napping in the hammock or just sitting and visiting in the multiple seating options. The property owner/caretaker are attentive to every detail, questions or needs. It was a delightful experience in every respect!

Our family rented Green Hill Ranch for several days to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. There were 19 people spanning three generations so we rented all three homes (caretakers' cottage is an add-on) on the property which gave us plenty of room to spread out. The large kitchen in the caretaker’s cottage was perfect for our buffet suppers for the whole family. The main house was absolutely lovely and very spacious with several common areas for everyone to enjoy. The large front porch was a wonderful place for us to sit and visit in the evening and watch the kids play on the beautifully landscaped grounds. With so many amenities the the kids were always finding something new to do. Our family especially loved the swimming pool with its diving board which was a big hit. We greatly appreciate how generous the owner was with providing much needed incidentals from paper towels to laundry detergent. We loved our stay here and hope to have the opportunity to visit again.

What a great place for the wedding party to stay. Wedding venue was located close by, so this property worked out wonderful for the wedding party. Beautiful grounds and homes! And all the extras were fantastic! Thank you to Kathleen for her communications & hospitality!

Thanks to the property and the owner, this was the best birthday party ever! All my guests enjoyed the setting and all the fun things to do that this property offers. We had an all day event that went into the night and everyone raved about how great it was. The owner went out of their way to be sure we all had a good time and was so cooperative and helpful. Can't say enough good things about this venue. It's in a really beautiful location, offers so many activities and is also perfect for those that just want to sit on the wonderful covered porch and enjoy it all from there. Everything we needed was there. Can't wait for another get together to go back!

We loved there were designated rooms for activities: Billiard & game room, reading room, television room, living room, dining room, and a kitchen with a dining nook. Each bedroom was…. A++ Outdoors is a paradise and included many activities. The pool was wonderful. We were really happy with the ease of the end of the stay; there have been times with a VRBO that the check out list was so long we ended up feeling like and being part of the cleaning crew, even though we paid for cleaning with the stay! That did not happen here. We would rent this place again in a heartbeat and we would stay longer-our three nights were not enough!

We hosted a party here, for family and friends, and the property set the mood. We had a fabulous time, and Kathleen was a pleasure to work with. On a scale of five I get this property 19 stars!

We enjoyed our time here immensely! It had everything we needed and more. It was able to accommodate three different families comfortably. We were part of a wedding that was held somewhere else but we were able to host a large family brunch on the property. From teenagers to adults, this property offered something for everyone. We couldn’t recommend it enough.

We stayed a week here and enjoyed every minute. When we had a question /problem Kathleen was only 7 minutes away. Plenty of space and games for all ages. The internet was a little weak but you are in what seems to be the middle of nowhere and t didn’t matter all that much. The kids , every one of them, loved their time there. The pool and pool house were perfect for an all day stay. The caretaker cottage has a professional training kitchen and the guest house is perfect for parents with 2 children. All around it was a wonderfully delightful day

Everything is provided. With my family, ages from 1-87. We highly recommend this property for a wonderful, restful time. The property manager was very friendly and helpful.
