The location and views are EXACTLY as they are advertised. The views are breathtaking. It is a gorgeous walk down to town and the PSLSC beach at Preservation Bay, either along the road or through the paddocks, or a quick drive. We had two cottages and they are close but completely separate visually and sound wise. WE could slip between the two cottages for meals but also have quiet time and actually feel quite removed from each other - perfect when you have 18 year olds who have already been hiking for seven days and sharing tents with you! The fresh eggs were delicious, the amenities great. We washed all our camping/hiking gear, aired and dried tents and felt right at home. The beach at Preservation Bay was divine.
We liked everything. The cottages are well thought out and we stocked. The views are amazing. It was perfect. That Hugh was so friendly and helpful was also wonderful.

I would highly recommend Penguin Seaside Farm. The hosts are very accommodating the cottage itself was immaculate and the views were sensational. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Amazing view, modern luxury with a country feel. Was welcomed by the host and he took the kids to feed the sheep and chickens. Kids loved the place. Will be back.

My cottage was presented immaculately with everything you could need to cook a memorable meal or just soak up the atmosphere of the fam by the sea.
Having to leave Seaside Far always makes me sad.

The location is magnificent, ocean views are breathtaking watching the sunrise over the sea. The sheep and cattle grazing in the paddocks gave a very relaxing feel . And the fresh eggs from the chickens cooked up for breakfast were exceptional.
The hosts are very hospitable and nothing was too much of a problem for any requests we had.

Everything about this place was exceptional. I honestly wish we had more than 2 nights here. Hugh is the perfect host, and there is nothing I could fault. The most beautiful views - even with the rain. We fed the sheep & the chickens and ate freshly laid eggs. Beds were comfortable, and everything we could have needed was there. Great value for money. 10/10
I really hated that .... umm nope, nothing. Just that we didn't stay longer.

Million dollar views. Our cottage was clean n the bed was very comfortable. We were warm n cosy. The chickens n fresh eggs were a real bonus. We also enjoyed feeding the sheep. We highly recommend this getaway. Thank you.

Hugh and Liz were ideal hosts. Our every need was catered for - Hugh even sent us off with a dozen farm fresh eggs from their chooks before we left. The cottage was so comfortable and the view so appealing that we really didn't want to leave.
Having to leave. Seaside Farm Cottages would rank as one of the best stays of our trip around Australia. If we return to Tasmania, we will definitely be booking a cottage there again.

The view is amazing and the owner was so kind. We really enjoyed everything about it. Penguin is a very nice little town. Enjoyed the fresh eggs and meeting the farm animals.
It was a bit cold in the bedrooms in the back. Each bed has an electric heated blanket, which was nice.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and the view was breathtaking. The bonus of farm animal interactions for the little ones was a plus and the accommodation was very clean and well presented. Communication was A+++

This place is exactly what hubby and I look for in self-catering accommodation. Fully equipped kitchen, dining area, sitting area, bedroom and bathroom (with a washing machine)...all at an affordable price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Seaside Farm to family and friends. Did I mention the view??? One word...breathtaking.
Not a big deal, but a bin in the bathroom is needed.
