The place was larger than I thought it would be. Small town great atmosphere. Restaurant downstairs was great for breakfast. Nice stop on travel

The apartment is amazing! Nice and spacious, comfortable. Its right in the downtown area and you can walk to so many shops & restaurants. I highly recommend staying here!

We only stayed for 24 hours but property manager was very flexible and accommodating to our plans. Big space with a lot of great furniture

The apartment is better than advertised. The apartment is much larger than I expected. Great location to visit the town or to attend a wedding at the distillery.

We stayed for a nearby wedding. We had trouble locking the keypad entry, but Leigh Ann took care of it while we were attending the wedding. Whole apartment was spotless.

We enjoyed staying in the apartment. It was very nicely decorated. The beds were comfy. It was close to Journeymans distillery and local wineries. We would stay again.

I thought the property was clean and in good repair. There were a lot of dishware and utensils available (even a Kitchen Aid mixer with several attachments!). We did not have an opportunity to eat at the bistro below, but from the menu it sounded good. Just not enough time with our other planned activities. We only had one small concern: -If you are bringing a small child along, I would caution that it is not toddler friendly because you would need a gate for the stairs (there is no doorway at the top), and the dishes & even china (which looked lovely) were displayed on lower shelves in the kitchen area without cabinet doors. These were very tempting to a toddler. Ours thankfully did not snatch at any of them, but I know many toddlers would have. That being said, still a nice place to stay. Overall a GREAT experience.

Clean and great set up with everything you need! Great size, and wonderful location! Perfect stay with lots of shopping, food and we could walk to the journeyman for our wedding.

We had a great time. Great location. Plenty of towels, kitchen utensils, misc. Bathrooms were clean. Would stay again and would recommend to family/friends. There were bulbs missing from some lamps and other bulbs in the family room (ceiling) that were out completely. In addition, the ceiling fan in the family room vibrated and shook a lot.

The property was clean & a great layout for a girls weekend!

First, the good: my FIRST communications with Property Manager were excellent. The location could not have been better! The decor was colorful and appealing. The space was generous. The bathrooms were very clean. And now, the less than: overall the space looked clean but that was merely on the surface. There were clothes from a previous user in a closet, there were clothes under a chair cushion ( I was looking for a pen I thought slid down there), there was partially eaten food in the refrigerator and freezer, and much of the silverware was not clean. ****Here’s the thing that led me to call 911: about midnight of our last night at 8 S Elm, an unknown man was on the second floor deck immediately outside the room we were sleeping in! He was VERY loudly arguing with someone on a cellphone and was not leaving. We did not feel safe. The 911 operator contacted Three Oaks police and they sent a cruiser to the rear of the property where the deck is. We had stealthily moved to the other end of the apartment. Three Oaks police let me know that they had “removed” the man. We gathered our belongings and left very early that morning. Not one communication from Property Manager since. NOT a good first experience with VRBO!

This property was the perfect place to stay while we were in town for a tour of Journeyman Distillery. Close enough to walk to everything. Great food options nearby. Apartment was very clean and decorated nicely.

We stop in Three Oaks every year on our way to visit Great Grandma for Thanksgiving. We were thrilled to find a beautiful place within walking distance to Journeyman Distillery. We appreciated the terrific kitchen space (we always cook our own food on trips due to food allergies). We also appreciated the beautiful artwork and artistic decor throughout. Clearly, the person who decorated has an appreciation for arts and culture.

Good location for our ND football game. Lots of cute local restaurants! Pull out couches not comfy and really not for sleeping, but there was a roll away cot. No check out info provided and had to ask for check in info. Thankfully we didn’t get ticketed for parking on the street, just a warning. No parking instructions provided and no street signs indicating that we couldn’t park on the street over night. Apartment much larger than expected and very clean. Apartment is above a very cute breakfast spot, but they start prepping early so be prepared to be hear that around 6am.

Perfect location for our weekend in Three Oaks which included a wedding at Journeyman and enjoying the shops and restaurants. Accommodation was clean, easy to access, and comfortable for our weekend away.

We enjoyed being able to walk to breakfast at Froelichs, various shops, and Journeyman. Weather was great so we enjoyed the back porch as well. Great getaway

We stayed in Three Oaks on our way to Traverse City and this apartment was a great find. It was roomy, full of personality and within walking distance to several restaurants. Enjoyed dinner at Journeyman and breakfast at Viola s. The apartment was clean and well stocked.

We selected this apartment for a one night stay for a wedding we were attending at the Journeyman Distillery. The location was perfect and we were able to walk from the apartment to the distillery within five minutes. The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and had all the comforts of home. It was nice to order breakfast from the diner below and not run around finding a restaurant. Owner was very nice to work with when we had questions. Definitely, would stay again.

Pretty much as other reviews stated. Host was excellant communicator, even helped me when I couldn't find the back parking and locked myself out. Fully functional and equipped kitchen, bring your own coffee, unless i couldn't find...Host called out step needing fixed, so we were just careful. There were two rungs from dining room chair broken upon arrival, but made no impact to stay. My young adults cslled the place "fly" and "dope"...boy, do I feel old. The early morning "chopping sound" was not the restaurant down stairs prepping food, but we left the living room fan on. Lol. The back bedroom did hear the restaurant downstairs, but only after they woke up. Front twin beds a little squeaky, but great to sleep on. We'd stay here again and expore the cute town more.

This is situated in Three Oaks, alongside cute shops, distillery, and music theatre. A hop, skip, jump to New Buffalo. Great space and fun decor. Lovely spot for family or friends.

Convenient location for Froehlic’s wedding venue. Nice setup having the two bedrooms at opposite ends of the unit. Very spacious.

It was as shown, however because of restaurant opening at 7:A.M. it was too noisy. They were busy setting up, moving furniture etc. no sleeping in which is part of why you go away. Back stairs need to be replaced. I will recommend to people who like to get up at 6 A.M. nicely decorated & spacious.

Condo is much larger than the pics represent! Though the cafe downstairs had excellent lunch choices (I recommend the strawberry mimosa), we really enjoyed utilizing our kitchen . We had great kitchen space to hand roll our own pasta for a real home cooked meal. The apt provided privacy yet a great shared space for the adults to relax and listen to music as the kids slept. Beach 10 mins away- perfect perfect perfect.

This place was great for a little get away. My mom and I needed a place for a small last minute get away and this place was perfect! Everything was clean and the location was great. Three oaks is such a nice small town and is so close to new buffalo beach!
