BEWARE!!!!!!!!! If i could give negative a billion stars I would. This company is a scam. They lore you in with great pictures. Pictures are so old. Doesn't look like there has been anything cleaned or upkept in years compared to what they are showing on booking.com. Do not waist your money they will not refund you!!!! Horrible horrible place. Upon arrival the place was not cleaned at all. Broken glass and indoor lamp on patio in the rain, sink full of dirty water, dirty frig, no batteries in any smoke detectors. Crack pipe in kitchen drawer. No handle on refrigerator. Step on the bunk bed is busted. Paid for a linen package and got mismatched sheets with stains and holes and they didnt even fit the beds. Everyone went to bed and I came to the kitchen and there was cockroaches everywhere. I killed 29 and did not get to sleep at all because I can not sleep with bugs. Next day offered me the down stairs unit which was dirty and had a bugs and then couldn't get me into another place until Monday. So they wanted my family to stay with bugs all weekend. We left got a different place. WONT REFUND YOUR MONEY. I contacted the mayor, the bbb, the county commissioner, dhec, and the fire marshal. I will either be taking this to small claims court or I will be opening a class action lawsuit because there are a lot of people they have scammed.

the sinks were full of hair and the showers. the beds and couches full of sand. there was dust all over the fans and vents and dirt all over the walls. spilled orange drinks on the walls. we couldn’t walk barefoot in the floor or shower until we scrubbed with bleach.
i called to report the dirt and was told it was cleaned and the dust on fans and baseboards was deep cleaning. she did inform me she cleaned behind the oven even though the fridge was filthy too!
it was my worst experience ever. i will not use booking.com again. i couldn’t get through cause i couldn’t find my pin and the resort kept telling me i couldn’t get a refund. we couldn’t stay here it was gross!!!

I like that it was so close to the beach
When I got there! There was sand in all the beds! The beds itself looked disgusting as if they never been cleaned or washed! There was roaches everywhere which made it hard to sleep

The Location was close to restaurants and activities
The property has outdated furniture, the property was not cleaned prior to arrival, the beds were very very uncomfortable, the cookware is rusty and damaged, all the rooms were missing several light bulbs, the furniture and mattresses are stained and dirty, things that can be repaired are not attended to like broken dryer, or broken handle on refrigerator. upon my arrival I had to go out and purchase cleaning supplies, mop, to clean the property before my families arrival. BUT THEY CHARGED A CLEANING FEE.) The front door appeared to be broken in at one point and poorly repaired, we feared our safety throughout our stay, the master bathroom toilet was not tight to the floor and moved every time we used it the master bedroom closet rack was broken and we were unable to hang our clothes ,the backyard is full of debris, broken furniture, and garbage as well as a trailer on the property I have so many photos, but booking only allowed me to upload 4

Very comfortable and good location
Too many remotes for the tvs. I could not get the tvs to play anything. They worked as far as coming on but the living room tv had 4 remotes and the bedroom TV had 3. Just could not get them to play.

Location
We got settled in good and I went to wash something in the washing machine the cleaners had left rugs in the washing machine wet. Several of the dining room chairs was broke and should be replaced before someone gets hurt falling out one. The queen bedroom has no post under the middle of the bed or box spring so when you lay down the mattress sinks in to the floor. The poles on the twin bed need to be replaced or a new bunk bed. The porch off the queen room and on the front porch all have loose bars as well. Please remove the misleading pictures of the pool, that conveniently costs more to use and was cut off in pictures . not to mention you have to drive it. SMH.

the kitchen
the original unit we rented we couldn’t get into…stayed outside about 30 minutes trying to get in they sent someone 30 minutes later he couldn’t get in so he had to cut the deadbolt…so then we were moved downstairs the comforters were dirty… We washed everything in there because it wasn’t clean… we did bring our own linen to put on the beds so that was good

paid a 250.00 pet fee up front did not take our pets and can not get pet fee refunded even though they said it would be . been 5 weeks now and still no refund .... do not stay with this company....

I would not rent anything from these people. Terrible customer service and Jennifer the manager was not there to create a positive experience but rather made every excuse not to. I have tried contacting the property over 30 times and no answer. Sometimes they answer but most of the time they don’t.
The listing description was not accurate and pictures do not give that great of a layout of the unit. Don’t trust the pictures because they are combining other units. I contacted and the manager and after trying so many times I finally was able to get some sort of resolution but still did not even help. This unit will comfortably sleep 6 people but the amount of beds in this small unit is so uncomfortable. I could hear light talking in the other bedroom as if it were in the same room. Thin walls. Please save yourself from this terrible experience and just rent somewhere that honestly cares if you stay. The furniture was falling apart, shower curtain ripped. Beds very very hard and to top it off they don’t even provide towels and sheets! Hotel will be so much better that this place. I love Jesus and strive not to complain but I cannot help myself due to this aweful experience.

Trouble with the tv station,, but i traveled with a gaming 11yr old , also we need new pillows bar stools and a fresh shower curtain wouldnt hurt!

I liked that it was close to the beach
It was very dirty, I cleaned the first 2 days I was there I emailed the place who sent me cleaning ladies they never came in just went and bought the wrong size sheets for the bed that didn’t have sheets.. a lot of things were broken like the dishwasher so I washed dishes by hand and the last night I found a cockroach and a bed bug while cleaning I didn’t get much time to relax on my vacation and I was more than disappointed..

I love the proximity to the beach
The house is kind of outdated but didn’t in anyway distract us from having a good time.

There was enough room,for us and close to beach.
The floor was so dirty our feet were black, just from walking on the floor, right after we arrived. We couldn't use the TV 's without using our own cords, we ended up watching our own dvds. One bedroom didn't even have a TV. There was a dirty pad in the bathroom drawer. The closet was a mess in one bedroom. A TWIN BED WAS so nasty we couldn't use it .the mattress pad in our bedroom was very stained.Also the washer was so loud we couldn't hear each other talk.We were very disappointed in the over all stay.

The location and the lay out. The price was ok.
The place was nasty! The master bathroom was down right the worst! It was sand in the tub and the shower was nasty. I had to clean both bathrooms and sweep the floors. The bed spreads were dirty. As a guest I DID NOT expect to come in and have to clean and sanitize the unit. I expected better out of the cleaning staff especially with Covid going on.

The location was awesome and it was very clean.
Climbing so many stairs. I had a stroke in December and just learned to walk again so it was difficult and my mom and mother in law are both 65, one with a knee replacement. Safe to say we won't rent that exact place again. It is a beautiful vacation home though for a healthier group.
