Lovely stay in a cosy, comfortable cottage

We had a fabulous few days at this wonderful cottage. It was short of nothing and one of the best cottages we have stayed in. Hope to be back.

Great location, property was well in excess of our expectations being very roomy , comfortable beds , the only disappointment we had to hunt through lots of cupboards and drawers to find the welcome pack and we never did find a visitors book which we would have liked to fill in, whilst we appreciate that it was not for guests use we thought a lock and chain on a kitchen cupboard door gave a bad impression when it could easily have had a proper lock fitted. over all we loved the property and would return if in the area although touring the area with the new 20mph speed limit is tottaly unnecessary and to my mind more dangerous than 30mph as you are constantly keeping an eye on the speedo instead of the road

The property was wonderful. Cosy, clean and everything we needed for our stay. WOW - the bathroom ! I'm sure we will visit again. X

A very spacious and well equipped cottage in great condition to use as a base to explore the peninsula. As I saw on a previous review, for those with mobility issues, the stairs are quite steep and narrow. Also ,there is no lock on the bathroom, but we too came up with a system, so no problems there. Aside from these minor considerations, this place is a gem, and I would have no hesitation in returning, and can highly recommend . Thanks to Michael and his team for a lovely time.

We wanted a few days in North Wales in a comfortable property that was near the coast but within reasonable distance of Snowdonia. The cottage was in a quiet spot about half a mile from the centre of Criccieth which is a lovely little seaside village with adequate facilities and a feel of the traditional seaside resorts of the 1960s where people enjoyed the natural delights of sun, sea and sand without the need for amusement arcades and fun parks. The cottage itself was just as described with a clean and modern look, quality finishes and a comfortable feel. It was also absolutely short of nothing you might need while you are there. We had a lovely few days with wonderful weather and would return again if we ever feel the need to visit North Wales.

Very nice townhouse - clean, comfortable, kitchen loaded with all you need. Unfortunately we found out after a load of wash that the dryer did not work. Put us in a bind as we specifically rented with washer/dryer and did not have time to hang dry. Hope it is fixed for the next renters.

Had a lovely stay. Cottage was really pretty and very well stocked with everything we needed. A separate toilet downstairs would have helped at times but we managed.

Beautiful cottage. Modern and comfy. Well equipped kitchen, living area, bathroom and bedrooms. Staircase awkward at the top where bannister is part covered by bedroom wall.

Beautiful, clean and very well equipped property. Very much a home from home. The sea is only a short walk (or drive) away and the dog friendly part of the beach was as clean as the rest of it and the water clear. Can't recommend highly enough.

Just back from a fantastic week stay at this gourgous cottage. Attention to detail is spot on and there is everything you could need. The gem in the crown has to be the amazing bathroom and huge bath which we well and truly to advantage of. The bed was huge and of the highest quality and so comfortable. Enjoyed our stay so much we have booked again already and also recommend to freinds. Excellent value for money. Highly highly recommend.

Communication was second to none, from the initial booking right up to us checking out. The cottage is beautiful very cosy, tastefully decorated but mainly home from home, was very clean, bathroom was amazing, kitchen exceptionally large, and very well equipped down to washing up liquid to a coffee machine, nice gesture of milk and biscuits on arrival, very private and not to far from a few beaches (it does state no dogs on the beaches however from sept-April) they are allowed which was great as not to busy and allowed the dog freedom to have a good run) the only thing I found which does not reflect on the owners nor the property was a lot of dog muck out the back of the property where we were able to park our cars, it was literally dodge the dog poo.. which is a shame that people can’t pick up after their dogs, but as I state this is not the owners fault.. over all 100% satisfaction and both me my 12 year old and our dog hope to visit the property again in the very near future, thank you Mike and Clare you have an absolutely beautiful property in a perfect location

Both my daughters enjoyed their stay and would happily return here. A lovely comfortable cottage with a huge amount of space!

We had a lovely extended weekend here- the house is welcoming and homely with clear attention to detail in the furnishings and finishes. Only 10 minutes stroll from the town and the coast, everything we needed was here. Views of the sea from the bedroom were a real added pleasure. Thanks

Lovely well equipped cottage, everything we needed, comfy bed, lovely bathroom, well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge, easy walk into Criccieth, some lovely walks straight out of the cottage, looking forward to returning.

What a wonderful place to enjoy after a day of exploring castles and beaches and mountains! Everything was perfect and we are very happy we chose to stay here. This was our first - and not last - trip to Wales, and I will stay here again in a heartbeat!

A very clean, homely comfortable smart cottage. Everything to meet your needs. Well situated to visit nearby tourist spots. This was ideal for our 3 night mini break.

We had a fantastic stay at this cottage. The house was so cosy - warm, comfy and well equipped. Slept really well in the bed and the bathroom was wonderfully clean and modern - many hours spent soaking in the tub. Location is perfect for wandering on the beach and exploring Snowdonia. We had fantastic communication with Michael, he was fantastic as a host! Thanks for having us!

We had a very pleasant stay at this excellent property. It was very noticeable how clean it was on arrival, and so very well stocked, with all the kitchen equipment you could need. Everywhere was very well decorated and presented, and it was lovely a spacious too.

Well equipped kitchen with a pint of milk and some mince pies on arrival a nice touch. Would recommend and would stay again. Thank you to the hosts!

We have stayed in numerous cottages over the years and this was by far the best we have stayed in. The cottage was very clean and had all the modern touches needed to make it a home from home. The cottage is spacious and comfortable with a modern bathroom and kitchen. The cottage is a five minute walk from the centre of Criccieth and has its own private parking spaces. There was even a nice and thoughtful touch of fresh milk and mince pies as a welcome pack. We only stayed two nights for a wedding we were attending but we will be booking again.
