We had an absolutely fabulous week at Les Farges. The house was immaculately clean and had every comfort you could wish for. Beds and pillows really comfortable. Kitchen very well equipped. The outdoor space was fantastic with loads of seating areas and loungers. The pool was beautiful and a great size for a splash around. Brian was readily available to answer any questions but we had no problems at all. The house was also well located for exploring the local area. Lots of châteaus and lovely little towns to explore. Montignac, only 5 mins drive away, was also lovely with plenty of patisseries and places to eat. I can’t recommend this holiday house highly enough!

Brian’s house is amazing: it’s superbly equipped, stunningly renovated and wanting for nothing. Brian himself is very helpful and friendly, responding to all communications very rapidly. Highly recommended.

Really lovely house. Everything new, of high quality and very comfortable. Had everything we needed for a great week. Location is great, short drive to Montignac and half an hour from Sarlat and the Dordogne. Brian was great to deal with. It was all very easy and straightforward. Would recommend. Thank you!

This wonderful house felt immediately like home! The house itself is fully furnished, there is really nothing missing. A lovely fully equiped kitchen, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms spacious, outside a big table with a choice of chairs, 6 sunbeds, large barbecue and a spacious porch! The house was very clean when we arrived. The servicelevel of the owner of the house (Brian) and his friends locally (Simon & Sharon) is absolutely marvelous! Very easy to contact and very quick respons. We would definitely recommend this house to everyone!

Wir haben fast 2 Wochen in dem schönen und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus verbracht! Wir haben alles sehr genossen und können das Haus als Ausgangspunkt für viele Sehenswürdigkeiten im Périgord sehr empfehlen.

Our first visit to the area and can highly recommend this beautiful house which is very comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a perfect holiday. We had a wonderful time exploring the many picturesque places to visit in the area. Ein sehr gepflegtes Haus in guter Lage mit allen was man zum Urlaub machen benötigt. Einige Nächte waren sehr warm. Eine Klimaanlage wäre in den Schlafzimmern nicht schlecht gewesen. Würde das schlafen noch angenehmer machen. Das Haus können wir nur weiterempfehlen wenn man die Dordogne erkunden möchte. Auch der Kontakt mit dem Besitzer war sehr angenehm . Er beantwortet alle Fragen, ist auch telefonisch erreichbar und sehr behilflich. Einen Dank auch an die Dame vor Ort die regelmäßig nach dem Rechten geschaut hat. (Poolreinigung etc.)

Superbe propriété. Rien ne manquait pour passer un séjour en famille! Lieu très calme par ailleurs avec très beaux espaces extérieurs.

Très jolie maison bien décorée vaste et avec tous les équipements nécessaires. Seul manquait quelques degrés dans l’eau de la piscine !

Maison agréable, bien aménagée et bien équipée, dans un très bel environnement. La pergola protège aussi bien des températures fraîches que chaudes, et nous a permis de prendre tous nos repas à l'extérieur. Location bien placée pour visiter cette région très verdoyante avec de magnifiques points de vue, des villages pittoresques, sans bien entendu oublier l'empreinte de l'Histoire. Une adresse à recommander.

La maison est idéalement située pour de belles visites en Périgord. Très bien équipée, propre et dans un environnement calme. Le petit plus la belle vue depuis la piscine et un grand jardin pour les enfants. Nous avons eu un très bon contact avec Brian. A recommander sans hésiter.

We hebben een paar heerlijke weken doorgebracht in dit mooie huis in prachtige omgeving. Lekker kunnen afkoelen in het zwembad en het huis was van alle gemakken voorzien. Communicatie met eigenaar en lokale aanspreekpunt verliep vlot en soepel.

La maison de Brian est superbe, idéalement située pour rayonner dans le Périgord, au calme, avec une vue superbe et très très bien équipée (pour chipoter, il manque juste une poêle ou deux, une cafetière à filtre et des couteaux à steak mais c'est du détail !) La piscine est très agréable et appréciable quand il fait très chaud. La propreté à l'arrivée était absolument irréprochable, rassurant en ces temps de Covid... Brian est sympathique et toujours très réactif pour répondre à nos questions. Rien à dire de négatif, nous avons passé un excellent séjour et reviendrons avec plaisir.

Nous avons rarement vu une maison aussi bien équipée, il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour se sentir comme chez soi avec la piscine en bonus. Au calme, super vue, le top!

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances dans cette belle maison au calme, le grand jardin très agréable pour les enfants ainsi que la piscine bienvenue par cette chaleur.

We had a terrific stay at Les Farges. The location is c. 4KM from the lovely town of Montignac which has all the shops, bars, restaurants you could need. There is also a very good supermarket, ATMs etc. The house itself is in a rural setting, on a generous site, and is not overlooked by neighbours. The build is traditional but very modern with all the mod cons you could need. Myself, my wife and two kids thought it a real home from home. Brian was a pleasure to deal with and gave us plenty of information prior to our arrival. He was also very generous with the everyday essentials like dishwasher tablets, refuse sacks, towels, cooking essentials like salt/pepper/oils, etc. - basically all the stuff you hate buying when you're only staying for a week! The house and swimming pool were immaculate, there was plenty of hot water, and everything worked. A special mention must go to the wine glasses which were excellent – nice touch. Overall, we had a great stay and I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet get away in a beautiful, private setting.

House, site, and area was even better than we thought it would be. House was immaculate and extremely well equipped, and along with a fantastic pool and views, the perfect place to relax. Our 3 kids (10, 8 and 4) asked to stop going on day trips as they loved the house, garden and pool so much! No more than 5 minutes from the town centre by car with lots of parking, facilities, and excellent restaurants. A very simple 2 hour (max) drive from Bordeaux. We have already booked to return next year! Brian went above an beyond to help us plan for the holiday - much appreciated!

All the necessary facilities are provided - it's a home from home. The house is ideally located for Montignac, a 5 minute drive away. We were able to arrange a taxi into Montignac and back for a total of 20 Euros so that we could all enjoy a lunch with wine. There was a lovely couple who looked after the house, non-intrusive and incredibly helpful for any advice requested during our stay. With the windows open and the fans going we were able to get a comfortable night's sleep. There are neighbours but they are a distance away and did not impact at all on our stay, we hope we didn't impact on them!! Supermarket the other side of Montignac for any provisions. Very central for visits to Sarlat and Rocamadour. A truly wonderful holiday that exceeded our expectations, many thanks!! Amazing value for money!!
