Perfectly appointed and comfortable home, we couldn’t get the boys away from the pool table! Already planning a return visit..

A group of friends and I chose this property for a long weekend away to hike, check out lake placid, and to just get away. We absolutely loved the location, the entire property, and the cabin itself. we all slept comfortably (8 of us) and we’re so grateful for how well stocked it was as well as the emphasis on cleanliness. We hope to be back!

This is a lovely cabin, spotlessly clean, with plenty of space for a family of four, well stocked with everything you need. The property itself is gorgeous and large, and its location makes it easy to access many excellent hiking trails. The host, Meghan, is very friendly and responsive. Highly recommended!

Absolutely perfect spot for our weekend getaway with friends. The cabin was clean, had all the essentials and was incredibly spacious. The hosts were gracious and helpful. We loved the downstairs game room. Having snowshoeing trails right out the back door was so neat! We would stay there again!!

This cabin was the perfect rental for our stay in Keene. Plenty of space for us (4 adults, 2 kids, but would accommodate more), very comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen! Close to local XC ski centers, Whiteface, and Lake Placid. XC ski trail out the back door is a delightful bonus! We'd love to return in the future!

Wonderful, quiet, clean cabin close the Van Hoevenberg where our kids were competing. Great place for a couple of families to stay in a situation like this. Would stay again next year if available when we return.

Thoroughly recommend this lovely large home in a beautiful private setting. The house was warm, very well stocked, wonderfully comfortable beds, great kitchen facilities and laundry. The games room down-stairs was an added bonus. Meghan was most welcoming and a lovely host - her cookies in the jar in the main Inn were delicious! thank you so much for having us stay in your beautiful part of the world - would love to come again sometime. - Heather from New Zealand.

Nice peaceful environment. Clean and nicely decorated house. The only minus point is that there is no internet connection. Everything else was excellent

Beautiful house and property. Hiking trails on the premises. Perfect for our family with young children. Easily fit 4 adults and 3 children. Very memorable 4 day family getaway. Would easily go back again.

This cottage was a great place our group. We were there to hike the ADK High Peaks and couldn't have asked for a better location. The cottage was very clean and it had everything that we needed for the weekend. We highly recommend the cabins at Bark Eater Inn.

Stayed at Meghan & Tyler's 3 bedroom cabin the weekend of July 12. Couldn't ask for a nicer place and people running it. Everything was clean, decorated perfectly and Meghan couldn't have been a sweeter hostess. She made us feel welcome and not just the next renter. We will definitely be back!

I stayed to celebrate my birthday with him, his family, and his dear friends. And there, we had one of the most amazing times of our lives. The property was meticulously maintained and the cabin was fresh, clean, and packed with everything we needed for our stay. The views from the deck were stunning, with the mountains peeking over a thick tree line. While the Town of Keene and its restaurants were nearby, it felt as far away as possible. We spent our nights by a fire and fellowshipped with one another in comfort and and tranquility. The 6 of us had space and privacy within the cabin. Yet closeness. The proprietors of the Bark Eater Inn were incredible. Accessible if necessary while allowing us our opportunity to enjoy one another. We will return here again and again. Nearby attractions like Whiteface Mt and Lake Placid allowed for pleasant excursions. But the real draw was here. I highly recommend the Bark Eater Inn and the adjacent cabins. Having traveled to the Adirondacks many times over many years, this ranks tops on my list.

We rented this cabin for a group of 5 of us for a small bachelor party and climbing trip. The place is absolutely gorgeous, modern, clean, super cozy and comfortable. Plenty of spots to hang out and a nice game room if the weather doesn’t turn out in your favor. The owners were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back. Do not hesitate to rent this place
