Beautiful appartment and fantastic location.

We enjoyed our stay in Burgau. It it is a very quiet place this time of year, there are very nice restaurants and its a nice place for hiking and sightseeing. Our accommodation was OK, it was not very clean when we arrived, we had to clean it ourselves. This is unfortunate because the place is nice enough, just leaves a bit of a sour taste.

Wir haben herrliche Tage in Burgau verbracht. Das Appartement ist sehr groß und bietet somit viel Platz für alle Bedürfnisse. Wir haben nichts vermisst und konnten den Aufenthalt wirklich sehr genießen. Vielen Dank!

Das Appartment ist sehr großzügig geschnitten und verfügt über jeglichen Komfort. Die 2 Terrassen sind wunderbar; lediglich ein Sonnenschirm hierfür wäre ideal. Die Vermieterin kümmert sich umgehend bei aufkommenden Fragen, alles sehr unkompliziert. Wir werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen.

Burgau is a great place to stay. This apartment was fantastic in every way

We are just back from a wonderful holiday in the lovely village of Burgau. Despite our very late arrival on the first evening Gary was very helpful,available to give us directions and show us round the apartment which is centrally located. This apartment is spacious , bright, airy and tastefully decorated. The appliances, including the A/C the washing machine and the cooker are easy to use and very efficient. The tiled floor and large leather couch ensured a dust free environment but the real gem is the large and sunny south facing balcony. Despite there being six of us there was ample room for us to relax and enjoy sitting , sun bathing or eating al fresco. Burgau is a small village with a great beach, a well stocked small supermarket and plenty good restaurants. There are also plenty coastal paths from one village to the next . We had not only a great time but a much needed rest . I would thoroughly recommend a holiday here to anyone who enjoys the a warm sunny break in a lovely apartment.

Wir haben uns 14 Tage sehr wohl in der zweistöckigen Wohnung gefühlt. Diese ist mit allem Komfort und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es stehen 2 Schlafzimmer im oberen Bereich zur Verfügung mit einem eigenen Bad. Im unteren Bereich der Wohnung befindet sich ein sehr gemütliches, liebevoll eingerichtetes, Wohnzimmer mit einem großen Balkon, Küche voll ausgestattet mit Toaster, Spülmaschine, Gefrierschrank, Geschirr.... Von der Küche und Esszimmer kann man auf einen weiteren Balkon gehen, dieser ist etwas kleiner als der andere. Bad im unteren Bereich ist groß mit Badewanne und Bidet, das Schlafzimmer sehr nett eingerichtet mit Tür auf den großen Balkon. Die Wohnung liegt so zentral, dass man nur um die Ecke gehen muss um morgens frische Brötchen, Obst etc. zu holen. Zum Strand sind es 2 Minuten. Diese schöne Maisonette-Wohnung kann man nur empfehlen. Wir müssen auch noch hervorheben, dass alles super geklappt hat. Wir wurden so liebevoll empfangen, und auch bei der Abreise durften wir noch länger in der Wohnung bleiben, da unser Flieger erst abends ging. Auch der Kontakt zu unserer Vermieterin war immer so liebevoll, unkompliziert und nett. Wir können einfach nur sagen, eine Top-Empfehlung.

Alle beschriebenen Details treffen 100%ig zu! Die Ausstattung und die besonders gute Lage in dem noch relativ ursprünglichen Örtchen Burgau machen die Wohnung zu einem wirklich empfehlenswerten Urlaubstipp. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen!

We stayed in this lovely apartment during the recent October mid term break. As a family of two adults and 4 children (including teenagers!) we found there is not a huge selection of 3 bedroom accommodations in Burgau, so this apartment right in the centre of the village was a real "find". The apartment has a spacious feel from the minute you walk in the door, the living area has a double height ceiling with doors to a large sunny terrace. There is some lovely artwork on the walls, and stairs to a mezzanine level with bedrooms two and three. Both of these bedrooms, like downstairs were spacious, airy and clean. On the ground level there is a separate kitchen with access to a smaller balcony which got the sunshine in the mornings! We didn't dine in much but had we wanted to the facilities for cooking were excellent, including a separate dining room with a table sufficient to accommodate our large family! Our older teenagers were very impressed with their "studio room", although it is an integral part of the apartment, it also has its own separate access door so they were able to come and go as they pleased and felt very independent! I felt this room would be ideal if we were to consider bringing the grandparents in the future! Bathrooms were spotless and modern, hot water was plentiful, air conditioning was available although we had no requirement for it at this time. While this apartment was in the centre of the village, it seemed a very peaceful and quiet location, while shops and restaurants are literally on your doorstep, the beach and the few bars of Burgau are about a 4 minute walk so I imagine it would be still nice and quiet even in peak Summer. I would recommend this apartment without hesitation, and definitely hope to return next Summer.

Beautiful and spacious duplex apartment which was modern, bright airy and spotlessly clean. My family and i thoroughly enjoyed our week here in Burgau and having such a gem of a retreat to return from our days on the beach,made our stay all the more enjoyable. From the moment we were greeted by the charming Scottish gentleman until the moment we finally had to close the door for the last time, we will always remember our stay in the Caravela apartment

Nous avons passé une agréable semaine à BURGAU L'appartement de PAT ET MARIA est idéalement placé car proche de la plage et des commerces Duplex spacieux, confortable (LV et LL, four, TV...), agréable pour passer de bonnes vacances en famille ou entre amis (6 à 8 couchages).

This place must be one of Portugal's,and indeed Europe's best kept secrets.Life ebbs and flows like the waves lapping on the areia beach. Not commercial yet all modern conveniences understated. This property is spacious, clean , comfortable and most of all welcoming. Bedrooms separated from on another... there are 2 floors and a mezzanine.Large balcony has sun until night fall and early morning sun and light on other one. Large Sun set scene in living room creates such an ambience and animates the bright decor. The owners describe it as "unique" and it certainly fits the description. I thoroughly recommend this place and this property, only a few minutes walk from the beach! I will book for next year. Reserve já Nuno Santos
