Both Silvio and Joseph were great hosts to our group of 9 that traveled to Croatia last week. The property was well maintained and in a perfect location (about a ten minute drive from downtown Split). Both Silvio and Joseph arranged activities for our group (including a boat day and day trip to Krka National Park) and were available for transportation to the grocery store, Split, etc. when needed. They also provided us with great suggestions on restaurants and bars in the area. Overall, I would definitely come back to the property and would recommend the Villa to anyone traveling to Croatia! I would highly recommend this property. Silvio and his family were great hosts. They arranged to and from airport had wine, fruit and food waiting for us on our arrival and even collected us from the superrmarket (free of charge) with our shopping. The hosts are very friendly and we're at our disposal whenever we required anything. The apartment is exceptionally clean, spacious, well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets on the terrace and a spectacular thunderstorm over the mountains . Bus stop is a ten minute walk and beach is a few minutes further on. Split is about 30 minutes by bus. If you stay here you have to try the amazing sandwiches at Bill pivac. VILLA MARIA is set in beautiful grounds with a lovely pool, barbecue, trampoline and table tennis table and basketball hoop making it ideal for families Be aware that the house is on a hill so if you don't have a car it is a steep walk but after walking this a few times it does get easier. I would love to return to Villa Maria

It was fantastic staying at this lovely villa. It was spacious, clean and light and airy. Absolutely perfect. My friends and I loved it! Silvio, Jason and Maria were so friendly and hospitable. They supplied with a lovely large cheese, ham and bread board on our arrival to welcome us to the property which was so thoughtful and unbelievably generous. Jason told us about the local area and even drove us around to show us where the local supermarket was. They grow their own vegetables in the garden so we had fresh tomatoes and cucumber everyday. Incredible! Both fridges were stocked with a large bottle of water and Coca Cola which was really appreciated. They even left a bottle of their home made wine in both apartments which was delicious! The villa had air con which was great and the private pool was fantastic, we had a great time relaxing there. Podstrana is a lovely area too and even if you don’t have a car it’s very easy to get an Uber to Split for example. There was a group of 9 of us and it was perfect for us, all rooms were a good size. The balcony was a nice place to sit with a glass of wine and look at the amazing view across to the sea and watch the sunset! I honestly can’t say enough positive things about this villa and it’s owners! We even got a lift to the airport at the end of the holiday! I just want to go back now and stay forever!! Thank you so much, I will never forget it!

We were a group of 12 ladies staying here for a 50th birthday weekend. We had both apartments, sleeping 7 in one and 5 in the top one. Silvio and his family made us very welcome and arranged transfers from the airport, taxis into Split centre, a rafting trip, local restaurant dinner on our first night and even took us to the supermarket and helped us with a huge shop! The apartments are really nice, well equipped with air con and balconies with great views over Split. We had a fab weekend, the sun shone and the wine flowed. Can't recommend Split and this villa highly enough.

The pictures do not do Villa Maria justice, the views are stunning and the villa is spacious and clean. Our hosts Maria, Silvio and Joseph were so welcoming and catered to all our needs. Taking us to the supermarket when we required and arranging a day trip to the Krka waterfalls for us. I can not recommend this villa enough. Beautiful and great hosts. We would love to visit again.

Villa Maria was our choice for 2016 family reunion. When we arrived we were pleasantly suprised since the pictures in the ads are a bit outdated. Apartments are spacious and genereously equipped (suitable for a longer stay). Location turned out to be perfect for exploration of beautiful Croatian coast. Hosts were very friendly and ready to help with organization and recommendations on restaurants and sights to visit.

Thanks to a friendly recommendation,our group choose Villa Maria as our accomodation for a spring visit to central Dalmatia. Pictures in ads are high quality and very informative but still do not show enough (note to owners). Personally we got much more then we could've expected. Unique concept od spacious apartments and great comfort,along with discreet but very helpful owners makes this such a great holiday resort. We stayed there in April and the weather was pleasantly warm and very sunny. To anyone reading this,we encourage you to visit and to owners, keep up with good work and thank you once more.

The quality of our stay in Villa Maria was a very pleasant suprise.It turned out much better than we could've expected. We've booked all three available apartments.Apartments are really spacious and look much better than you can see in the pictures.In there you can find anything you may need (at least we did).We were lucky enough to come while weather was beatiful,it was very warm and sunny on Easter weekend which made it possible for both us and the children to enjoy both garden and playground and small muncipality where Villa is positioned.The host family was very friendly and all of them went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We absolutely recommend this place to everyone seeking great holiday destination is Split area,no matter of the time of the year.

Nu är det exakt en månad sedan jag kom hem från vackra Split. Jag och fem vänner hyrde en av lägenheterna i Villa Maria i en vecka. När jag tänker tillbaka på resan var den nästan för bra för att vara sann och det beror nog på Silvio och hans familj. Silvio med familj var otroligt snälla och hjälpsamma. Lägenhet var stor och utrustad med allt man kunde tänkas behöva. Jag rekommenderar starkt Villa Maria och kommer definitivt åka tillbaka.

Silvio and his lovely family did everything to make us feel welcome and a home. We stayed at villa Klara in the second floor. We were four teenagers and two adults. Two of the children slept in The living room. It worked out fine and Silvio Arranged beds for all the kids. When we arrived Silvio and his wife had also arranged a basket of goodies for us. The apparment is equipped with everything you will need in a kitchen, has a big terrasse with a wonderful view and it was very comfortable with special towels for sunbathing. The pool is small but very clean and nice. The place is very well kept and we give Silvio and his nice family our warmest recommendations.

I highly recommend this Villa to groups seeking accomodation in Split area. My family and I stayed in the largest,Maria apartment on 1st floor of the Villa.Apartment is spacious and packed with all you need.Huge area around the house is perfect for families arriving with children,there is more than enough for privacy and comfort for people staying in separate apartments.Every little corner is clean and decorated to look charming and special.Hosts are very friendly,helpful and at the same time very discreet.

After a week spent in villa maria we have nothing but words of gratitude for everyone there. As for the house itself it is as shown on pictures (and as described) but much nicer Apartments are huge and equipped with high quality furniture and appliances.It is also worth mentioning that unlimited internet access and satellite TV come as standard (compared to some renowned destinations) We definately recommend and hope to come back as soon as possible

We heard a lot of great things about Croatia during past couple of years which is why we've decided to visit ourselves.We choose Split as our destination and apartment Lucia in villa Maria for a place to stay.As soon as we have arrived it was clear that it was the right choice.Our apartment was extremely comfortable and perfectly clean.We loved the welcome basket detail. During our stay we have experienced Croatian hospitality at its finest and discovered many beautys hidden in central Dalmatia.Since there was simply not enough time to see it all we are looking forward to our next visit.

After spending a week in Villa Maria we have nothing to say but to recommend this place to anyone seeking excellent service for very affordable prices. Apartments are big and contain everything you can imagine to ensure maximum comfort. This house is absolutely perfect for a luxury stay in wonderful Croatia. We held our yearly conference in this house. Our company had truly wonderful four days together in this house. None of us would hesitate to come back. We loved the outdoor pool as well as the garden!! The owner was the best guide and host ever, always ready to help. We would like to come back next year again.
