Friendly staff and good location

This is a special place to sleep, a place to find peace. You sense the history and inmediatly feel that you need to respect this space. The whole place is super clean, the hotel rooms are simple, everything you need is there, very well taken care of. The garden is beautiful too.

It was really cool to stay in a monastery and have a nun welcome us and do the check in. The building and grounds were very nice, and in a great location for walking around town.

A big and comfortable room, with en suite bathroom, in accommodation belonging to a convent in the centre of Oristano. A lovely, peaceful place to stay.

Despite the age of the monastery, the visitor accommodation and facilities have been very sympathetically upgraded and are of a high quality and, although guests are not normally allowed to enter the gardens or other areas reserved for the nuns themselves, it is possible to enjoy the ambience of the monastery from walking through former cloisters to reach the guest bedrooms, refectory and lounge, etc. as well from windows which overlook the gardens and older cloisters. There is a good sense of history, religious observance and quiet contemplation to be gained from a stay here, as well as the comfort you would normally expect from a high class hotel.

The monastery has a very special atmosphere.

The location is good and the parking pass provided is handy.

There were problems: WiFi not working; no hot water; infestation of bugs in the room. They called a plumber to connect the hot water but the bugs were too much: I left after only one night. The sister who is in charge of guest relations doesn't have the people skills required for the job. The room was also very small and just not up to standard. You couldn't reduce the rate enough to justify staying there when much better alternatives are available. The ratings the place receives are about the Monestary itself and not about the quality and value of the hospitality experience. I could never recommend this place for an overnight stay.
