The venue is stunning. Beautiful building, swimming pool and private forest land all around. Lovely breakfast and possibility to dine at the Manoir, simple cooking but very tasty. The owners, their family and staff are nice, polite and helpful. The attic room in the main building was large enough and confortable, very well decorated and felt like home. A fantastic retreat in the Vandee region, not too far from the ocean and many other attractions. Overall, we've had a wonderful stay.

Fabulous place to stay. A very large Manor House, standing in a parkland setting. The garden is so relaxing, and occupied by many animals, small horses, sheep and chickens. The host was so welcoming, even though I was 2 hours early. The room was large and tall windows gave a view to the garden. Nathalie prepared a very decent evening meal with a large glass of powerful locally produced red from the Vix estate. Breakfast was good also.

The bed was fairly hard, could be just me though. Wi-fi was also not good

Of you live historical Property and like to visit friends dont miss this! Fantastic!

It was a perfect relaxing and enjoyable stay. We decided to stay an extra night. The children loved the swimming pool (which had a motion sensor alarm - genius!), the play area and the many animals. We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant every night and really enjoyed the home cooked meals. The room we had was spacious and very comfortable.

We stayed at the end of September and were the only occupants of the large house. Some of the facilities were not available - evening meal - which was explained to us on arrival. The house and grounds were undergoing work ready for next year so we didn't see the house at its best. The grounds and animals made up for any concerns. We were given the largest room but in fact the other rooms had better bathroom facilities ( modern shower). There was no WiFi. But we did get to see newly hatched ducklings and interact with a variety of animals. Nathalie and her family were very kind and informative.

No Wi Fi. Breakfast was basic but sufficient for 5 euros each. Off peak season prices should reflect reduced facilities
