This summer, since I had a few extra friends I gave "The Villa" a try. What a fabulous fine! Tucked away out of townyet near by, the Villa had everything we needed. The staff were all wonderful and attentive. There were such nice amenities such as a full kitchen, laundry, AC, comfy beds and couches. The Crows Nest look out was fabulous with hammocks to watch the sun set from. No need to go into town as there was a great restaurant steps away and a beautiful dock. The pool was perfect. When we left our ear puds behind, we got a message and offer to send the items back to the USA.....This rarely happens at a hotel. I highly recommend a relaxing and cosy stay at the Caribbean Sunrise Villa!

This place is just as beautiful in person as it is in the photos! Debbie was extremly helpful and very prompt on her email responses. We had a taxi waiting for us upon arriving to the island which was nice as well. Everyone was extremely accommodating and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is nice and the dock they have is great but the home itself is lacking many details that make for a comfortable stay. Top of the list is actual running water. Yes, I know it is an island (this is my 8th time on the island) and yes, the island does periodically shut off water for conservation, but our unit had hardly any water in it the first three days of our stay. I’d also like to note that while management tried dismissing it as the island shutting off water, we had no water even during the times water was allowed. Through my constant inquiries at the front, I gathered the property management itself has an issue with keeping well maintained pumps or simply just didn’t want to turn water on.Funny enough, when more people arrived and I threatened to contact my CC company, there was no issue with water! We went days without showers or being able to flush our toilets and kept being told it is normal. It’s not and our friends who stayed elsewhere on the island at the SAME TIME had no issues with their water.Aside from that, the rooftop deck no longer has the view that is shown in the photos, the light is motion sensor and turns off every 30 seconds so you cannot sit up there after the sun sets, bedrooms lack bedside lamps, and the stairs are not suitable for anyone that may have vertigo or small children. Highly recommend staying somewhere else.

The kitchen had everything we needed and the washer was a real plus. The air conditioning worked well and cooled down the interior fast when we turned it on at night. The pool was perfect for an afternoon dip and quiet since you are just sharing it with the adjacent house. We loved the private rooftop palapa for hanging out mornings and evenings. There is really no water view, but the sunrise and sunset skies are beautiful through the lush palm foliage. This property is out of the main center of town so we rented bikes for the whole week. You definitely could walk, but the bikes made it much more convenient. Plus they have baskets for groceries, towels, etc. It was nice to stay out of the noise of the main town but still just be a few minutes bike ride away from everything. The enclave’s private dock was also a fun place to hang out. All in all, we loved the property and how friendly and helpful all the staff members were (especially Victoria and Beyoncé). We will definitely stay here when we visit again someday!!

The process was flawless, the condo immaculate.

We had a tremendous time in Caye Caulker, and the staff at Valento was incredible at making it happen. Due to a blizzard our flights were delayed by 5 days for a 7 day trip. The staff went above and beyond to make this work for us. Since our property was booked after our original checkout date, they moved things around for us and got us a place for each night so we could extend our trip. Caye Caulker is the most relaxing island getaway. None of the touristy stuff (or cars!) to distract and get in the way. You can walk everywhere, the food is amazing, the people are great, and the prices can't be beat. Perhaps our best vacation spot ever. We never repeat vacation destinations, but we are seriously considering breaking that rule!

Reviewer Comments: We did not stay in the room that was originally booked because maintenance was scheduled for one of the days and so the manager upgraded us to a room at one of their other properties at no additional cost. While I'm sure the place we booked would have been good, the place we got was excellent and much more than we expected. It was spacious, comfortable and very clean and we were allowed to host family members staying at another location for one of the evenings. I'm sure, regularly this would have cost much more, and so while I can't say I'd book this exact location, I would certainly book at Velento again as the management was extremely helpful and accommodating.

They sent a golf cart taxi pickup for $5 BZ pp. The location is central/southern end of the island away from the hustle & bustle. We loved the actual accommodations. The air conditioning worked very well. It was spacious & comfortable for a family of six. The kitchen was well-stocked. We were given fresh bath & beach towels when we requested. The kayaks & paddle boards were a nice perk, however, it was too windy to really enjoy them. We snorkeled from the dock & saw sting rays, puffer fish, crabs, & lots of tiny fish. The lounge chairs were comfortable & the environment was relaxing. The pool was fun & felt great in the early evening. It was slightly warm & would be better if they kept it cooler. We loved eating at Weezies located on site. It’s expensive but convenient. The coffee was eh... wish they used a good Guatemalan or Columbian coffee but- it met a need! Overall, I’d give this place 5 stars! We were very pleased & it was worth the cost.

The place was beautiful and the staff very accommodating. Loved the beautiful pool, the hammocks and the use of SUP and kayaks. Caye Caulker does not really have sandy beaches but docks. Appreciated the bikes for getting around the island.

We stayed at this same property last year and still love everything about it. The rental has everything we need, staff is awesome and the location with the doc and pool are excellent. It is a little on the south side of the island so the the bike rental is also a plus for jaunts into town! We will definitely stay here again!:)

We stayed with our children, ages 4/7/10. The location was wonderful, the beach path allowed for easy walking access to where we wanted to go on the Caye. The dock was lovely to enjoy morning sunrises, the rooftop furniture was perfect for sunsets! Our children enjoyed the pool. Tim was very quick to respond to questions prior to our trip and the property managers were easy to reach while we were there. A great spot to enjoy Caye Caulker!
