We came for a family reunion but spent quite late bit of time at this lovely home visiting with immediate family & friend. Beautiful spot with all the amenities. They even left fixings to make s’mores which the kids thoroughly enjoyed. I would certainly recommend this place for a family get together! Easy in & easy out.

This house is perfect for our family! My husband and I look forward to this time together with our children and their families; we all look forward to it and love starting our summer with family at the lake in Texas!

We truly enjoyed our stay this past weekend. We had a larger group and loved all the space we had to enjoy. The game closet was perfect for the littles and the water was perfect. Everything was just as described. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond. Looking forward to coming back!

This property was absolutely stunning! We had 12 people and there was plenty of room for all of us!! The views were incredible and the back porch was so comfy and cozy. We had an excellent weekend staying at this property. It was very cute, exceptionally clean, and very well furnished.

Enjoyed our stay very much, house was exactly as stated and pictured. Only a short drive to shopping at Canton trade days. Property is beautiful, great deck over lake, owners were super nice and always available!! Would rent again !

The lake house is well equipped for families and the owners provide extra touches that made us all feel welcome. we had 5 adults and 6 kids under 12 in our party. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, everyone had space for privacy. The common spaces are large and comfortable. The lake was low while we were they, but we were still able enjoy it and the other outdoor games at the property. There was a maintenance issue while we were there, but the owners were responsive and had everything resolved in a timely manner.

This is great place for your family to stay. Very clean and convenient to Brookshires haha!! The dock, yard is perfect. Lake was low but turned out ok for the kids to float around on their rafts. Definitely will try to go again. Thanks 😊

This home was a wonderful place for our family to stay. The home was large enough for us to all be comfortable and have plenty of space. There were 7 adults and 2 children and we never felt cramped. The kids loved the big yard to run around in. We picked this location because it was somewhat between Canton and Arlington. We enjoyed Canton and also got to go to a Rangers game. We will definitely consider this home again!

The location was perfect and a beautiful setting. Hosts were extremely thoughtful and had extra nice touches. The best hosts EVER. We Definitely want to come back.

We were extremely pleased with this home. The home was very clean, well maintained, beautifully decorated and a well stocked kitchen. The large backyard was great for the kids. There is a large back porch to congregate and enjoy the lake. They hosts were responsive and definitely willing to accommodate. We look forward to returning.

This rental fit our group perfectly. We had 7 adults and 3 children. There was a place for everyone at the table and the family room was roomy and comfortable. Some places say they sleep 10, but that often means someone is sleeping on an uncomfortable cot or sofa bed. This house had a comfortable bed for everyone. We enjoyed spending time on the back porch, the fire pit and the dock. We love to cook and the kitchen was well stocked with all the kitchenware we needed. The owners left snacks for us, which were a big hit with the kids. This place was beautiful and comfortable. We felt very at home here. The owners were great and it was good to talk to the owners rather than a management company.

We had a great time! Encountered a few appliance problems , but owner was attentive to our needs. Well equipped for children of all ages, as well as grown ups! Memories made, fun time for all! Close to grocery and restaurants.

Our family had stayed at this lovely property in 2019 and then had to cancel our return visit in 2020 due to the covid lockdown. Finally, after a long delay we were able to return in September, 2021, with our children and grandchildren. It's the perfect place to make life-long memories and share precious moments together! Sunrises and sunsets on the dock, fishing with our grandson, relaxing in the hammock, playing games, laughing and having fun, sharing meals cooked outside on the grill ... the list goes on and on. The owners go out of their way to help you have a wonderful visit!

House is good, well equipped in an awesome location.

This property and the view are exactly as represented. The kitchen and the home are incredibly well stocked - in fact, in my many VRBO rentals, I have never found one so complete! Our hosts were communicative and thorough. We had a marvelous time and will be back next year.

The property was exactly as described. Beds were very comfortable, the AC worked great and lots of room for a lot of people to sit in the family room. The kitchen was the best equipped of any of the places we have stayed. Everything from plates, glasses, silverware, storage containers to pots, pans and skillets. Lots of towels and linens available. There were also spices and condiments available for use. Lots of games for people to enjoy. The grill and fire pit worked great and the owner left all the things needed for s’mores. We loved the view of the lake from the back porch, especially in the mornings and evenings. The boathouse is a huge plus as we rented a Triton deck boat and could use the lift at night to secure it. The house is located on the lake about 2 miles from the grocery store and 7 minutes by water to Lone Star gas and store. The water at the boathouse was about 4 ft deep but this worked great for our grandkids who ranged from 4-11 yrs old. I could go on and on about the positives of this lake house. We had no negatives. We will rent this again.

Our family had a wonderful time at Rick and Lori's lake house on Cedar Creek Lake. First of all, Lori was an amazing host, with quick responses to questions and attention to the details and special touches, including a welcome board and snack baskets with lots of goodies and s'mores supplies. The house was perfect, with plenty of beds and bathrooms (with wonderful walk-in showers and jetted/garden tubs), nice kitchen, spacious family room, large dining table, and huge, fantastic back porch with ceiling fans. The real winner, though, was the back yard leading to the lake and dock/pier with elevated deck. The views were amazing, and we were able to dock our pontoon rental for breaks during the day. The custom fire pit with plentiful adirondack chairs was nice, and there is already wood on site for those s'mores. I highly recommend this VRBO rental as a nice, relaxing property, and also because of wonderful and responsive hosts.

This was a very comfortable lakehouse. Plenty roomy for 11 people. Comfortable beds, big kitchen, great yard for badmitton, fishing from the dock was great with glow worms about sunset. Beautiful view of lake. Had a great time having s'mores by the firepit!! Owners were great to work with and were very helpful. A great family vacation spot.

We loved this place from the road to the water.This place has it all. Comfortable beds . Plenty of seating . inside and outside.I think we spent more time outside than we did inside. The back porch is unbelievable .The fishing is good . We are already looking at our calendar to make another reservation .

We had a wonderful Easter weekend here! It is beautifully updated, very clean and has an amazing yard, huge porch and deck over the boathouse to enjoy the outdoors. Each room was so comfortable and having bathrooms in each room (plus an extra full bath) was so nice! Having the detached bedroom/bathroom for grandma was perfect too. There are lots of little touches that just set it apart...kitchen stocked well, basket of packaged snacks, smores ingredients and skewers, waters by each bed, plenty of linens/blankets, etc. Lori even offered the option to check in early and let us know we did not need to rush out the day we had to leave. That is always so appreciated! We loved this house and hope to return sometime soon!

The communication from the owners from beginning to end was so appreciated. Made the experience even better. We were not sure what to expect since we had never heard of Tool, Texas and live 90 minutes away. The house and yard are exactly as pictured and described. When we walked in the house we were so excited. It was so updated, clean, and the space was perfect for our family. Everyone had their own room and bathroom. Our adult son even had a private detached bed and bath which he was grateful for to get a break from our 3 and 5 year old grand kids. The back yard was amazing. The 2 story deck so relaxing and the fire pit perfect to make s'mores and enjoy the evening by the lake. We stayed 3 nights but are already talking about another visit.

Five star host and home! The home and yard were amazing. It is perfect for a large family getaway. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay.

Our family had a wonderful time. We celebrated my husbands 70th birthday. The backyard was amazing, the children had so much room to play and the adults loved spending time playing washers, ladders, and tossing the football. We played games, made s’mores around the fire pit, played in the water and fished. The house was perfect for our family with lots of room to sit around the table and eat. Plenty of bathrooms for all. A beautiful back porch where we sat and talked and played games. We hope to return again for more family time together.

This was a great place for us with four kids ranging from 1 year to 10. Lori was super responsive with any questions we have had.

We really enjoyed our week at the lake house! The house was lovely and relaxing. We had everything we needed for a great week.
