Couldn’t take my eyes off the views from the apartment. Had a little trouble on arrival as hadn’t received the key box code and property owner number went straight to voicemail. Apartment was a little sparse in cooking equipment but everything was clean. Beds were comfy and water was strong and hot out of the shower (very important). Great to have parking and bus to and from St Ives town centre easy.

This is one of our all time favorite Vrbo locations. We stay in 8 to 10 a year. This apartment was very clean, well located, and comfortable. Awesome view. We would be very happy to spend a couple of months there.

Loved this charming ground-floor unit (we were grateful for no stairs!) Ample parking. Very clean and well appointed. Lots of sunny windows and views. Easy walk down to the village, but wish we took the bus back to the Leisure Center, which is just down the road. Use of communal clothes washer and dryer was convenient, though the wash cycle seemed a bit long. Would recommend and gladly return.

The property is exactly as shown. The views are beautiful, the terrace great in fine weather. The shuttle bus at the corner down to the town is very efficient and allows you to stay out of the crowds.

It felt like a home from home with everything you needed. Fully equipped and fabulous location and stunning views. Would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you so much for making our stay a memorable one.

This property was well maintained and appeared just as advertised. It was comfortable, spacious and clean. The outdoor space was beautiful. Although there are other units in the property, it felt private. It was a short walk to St. Ives town centre and gave us a work out to climb back to the property after our sight seeing. It was quick to cool down the property as it caught lovely breezes where it is situated. The property manager was very responsive and friendly.

We were a group of 4 adults who stayed here for 5 nights in May. The property was lovely, and had everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. It was well situated with a beautiful view from the terrace looking down over the harbour and surrounding beaches.This also made for a lovely way to end the day by sitting and soaking up the evening sun with a drink and stunning view. The property is situated directly opposite a bus stop with very frequent buses running into town, meaning we could leave our car at the property and not have to worry about car parking. Overall, it was a fantastic place to stay, and would definitely go back again and recommend to anyone.

Completely accurate description. Not a big problem, but only one bed side table and lamp in the main bedroom (limited space, but maybe could squeeze another in) with windows directly onto car park (maybe shutters or nets would make it more private).Very effective heating for a winter stay. Unreservedly recommend.

Lovely clean apartment. Parking facilities are excellent 2 spaces per apartment, wi-fi excellent reception, a local bus is available if you do not wish to walk into St Ives (approx. walk 10-15 minutes down hill), a little different coming back "uphill", however it is worth it and you do walk those "Cornish Cream Teas off". We really did enjoy our stay at this apartment and was sad to leave it. Would definately recommend.

Das Objekt besticht durch seine wunderschöne Aussicht auf den Hafen und seine gemütliche Einrichtung. Die ständig laufende Klimaanlage ist sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig und es fehlen im Außenbereich die Liegen. Ansonsten alles sehr schön:-)

We just spent five wonderful days in this spacious, bright and tastefully decorated two bedroom flat with a lovely patio and garden with beautiful views overlooking St. Ives. The kitchen is well equipped, each bedroom had its own bathroom and parking is right behind the unit. There is easy access to the long pedestrian staircases to St. Ives harbour.

Our second time staying here - same amazing views, great location and lovely accommodation. Would definitely recommend.

Cannot fault this property. It is well equipped and extremely comfortable. Yes it is high up in st Ives but nothing a healthy adult can’t cope with.

Gwel Enys was such a delightful place to spend a week. It is clean, extremely comfortable and is able to be both well located and quiet. Its owner, Juliet, was a pleasure to deal with, responding quickly to all communications, and made the process of staying there very straightforward and easy. The location affords a stunning view over St Ives, but this does mean that it is quite a hike back up the stairs from the harbour area, and they aren’t well lit at night. There is a longer but less arduous route available of course. It didn’t impact my stay there, but is something to keep in mind. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding cozy. On rainy nights the excellent TV and Netflix was a welcome diversion, and the stone patio a marvelous place to take a morning coffee and listen to the waves crash below. I would be delighted to stay here again.

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at this property. We’ve chosen it because we have been walking the coastal path and, from this property, it is easy to access the path on foot or by bus.

We spent a little more than a week in St. Ives, and we were fortunate to have gorgeous weather. The flat was very comfortable, and communication with the host was really good: they were cooperative, helpful, and extremely quick to respond. Being at the top of a (huge) hill, there are spectacular views from the front windows and the terrace. The beds are very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. All in all, we had a lovely stay. There were, though, a few things that weren't ideal. The spectacular views come with a price--more than 100 steps down into town. If you have very small children, joint issues, or are of a certain age, it may be a problem, We walked down--no problem--but took public trans back up, a minor inconvenience. We'd read the reviews but they did not present what we consider an accurate picture of the walk to and from town . Probably most surprising to us was the lack of privacy. This is a ground floor apartment (there are four or five in the building on three floors). The front of the apartment faces the terrace and the sea, and the back faces the parking lot. When other occupants park and walk around the building to access their flats, they passed very near every one of the windows in our flat. We felt uncomfortable leaving the curtains open. We left only the front curtains open sometimes so that we could have the beautiful view, and there were often people crossing the (shared) terrace in front of the flat to access their accommodation.

Property was quite a bit further from beaches and town, described as “a short walk” the property gave little privacy as all the other residents could look into the property from every angle. Net curtains would help. Furniture not very good quality. Huge kitchen table was silly. Cups were chipped and everyone of them was stained. We bought some new ones to use. Odd selection of glasses with few matching. Towels not great quality. Car parking not clearly marked and caused some arguments with other residents. Poor quality cutlery. Knives not sharp. Despite the above we enjoyed our stay and all the negatives could be resolved very easily. The property was well layer out and having two bathrooms was a great bonus. Not really the ideal property for 2 70 odd pensioners with mobility problems.

Very comfortable as always. So easy to reach the centre, yet great views over the town and harbour. A really great place to stay.

Stayed here with my fiancé sister and brother in law a well needed time out.. this beautiful property was clean comfy and worth every pennie the views were stunning even the walk up the many stairs was full of laughter the weather was good to us too so thank you Juliet for a lovley holiday we highly recommend this property

What a fabulous stay we had! Spacious and clean with all the amenities you need. The area was quiet yet a perfect walking distance away from the hustle and bustle of restaurants, shops and the centre of town with all the surrounding glorious beaches. The ease of parking at the property was an absolute bonus and having the car meant we could go and explore if we wanted to! We particularly enjoyed our visit to Lands End and Flambards in between the days of pure relaxation. Would definitely recommend this property to couples and to families alike. My little boy loved it! Would definitely stay here again!

Loved our week in beautiful St Ives. This is a fantastically spacious (we were a family of five; 2 adults and 3 teenagers) and well equipped (also appreciated the welcome goodies on arrival) apartment in a brilliant location. The host was also super helpful, we requested extra bedding and it was with us within an hour! We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay. A great location with harbour views away from the hustle and bustle! Great open plan holidaying with a terrace! The accommodation boasts two bathrooms which is great when holidaying with 2 teenage girls! Definitely will be back!

This was a perfect place for a week away. Great apartment with great views and such easy access to the town and choice of beaches, restaurants and walks. It was hard to leave.

This property is exactly as described and provided everything we needed from a home away from home. The property is very clean and comfortable and the view from the lounge / terrace across St Ives Bay is beautiful.. Our stay coincided with the G7 event, so a number of restaurants were closed or fully booked meaning we had to self cater a couple of times. This did not pose any problems as the property is so well equipped with crockery, cookware utensils etc. The host was very helpful and provided useful additional information on local traffic restrictions maps etc which were spot on and meant we were not inconvenienced at all by the road closures etc during our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. We arrived late on a dark and stormy night and Juliet was instantly available to help us check in even though we had somehow missed a previous email with info. When we awoke in the morning and opened the curtains to see the incredible view, we were blown away. Pictures don't do it justice. The home is perfectly situated with a stunning view over the beautiful town of St. Ives and the gorgeous blue ocean. We could see the tide coming in and out, the boats in the harbor, and even the famed Godrevy lighthouse in the distance. The home has everything you need. The beds are very comfortable and there is a charming kitchen and sitting area- large bathrooms and cute blue and white decor. Lots of closet/drawer space and so nice to have parking plus laundry right there. The kitchen had everything we needed. Including pots and pans for a massive Christmas dinner for our large family.There is a stone staircase just around the corner from the back garden and we used it often (several times a day usually!) to walk straight into the heart of town. Very convenient for a guaranteed workout and even more so because it deposits you at the doorway of the co-op near the main street, which we frequented for various bits and endless cadbury's caramel chocolate bars.Kebab King is just past the co-op and we thought delish, plus we went to Talay Thai 3x in 2 weeks. Yum!Every need we had was addressed immediately and we really loved staying in this wonderful home. On our last morning we stood on the amazing terrace overlooking the city and sea and did our best to drink it all in. Many thanks for a great trip! x
