We had such a lovely week staying here, I could not fault the villa one bit, we where here with our 9 month old baby who just had the best time especially using the fantastic swimming pool, also I cot and high chair where provided which where great quality and saves having to travel with these items. The location is about 15 min walk to hart of Soller and you have a Spar which would be 7 min walk, yes there is hill to walk up and down however it is short and steep and would defo not put us off staying again, the road up to the villa is tight and we took the recommendation to hire a small car, once you drive it a few times you get use to it. This property is a wonderful 10 minute walk to downtown Soller and 10 minutes to the tennis club yet very private. We had a family of goats visit us a couple of times, which was wonderful. My only suggestion is that the mattresses be replaced since they seemed on the older side and not as comfortable as I would have hoped.

Can’t recommend Sue and Neal’s villa enough. Roomy and comfortable, with everything you could need and phenomenal views across the valley. Well worth the short but steep hill!

We loved our stay in the villa. Yes, it’s up a very steep hill, but the climb more than makes up for the incredible view of the valley and surrounding mountains. The villa itself is gorgeous, open plan & airy, plus the pool & gardens are stunning. We didn’t hire a car & glad we didn’t, as the road up to the villa is not for the fainter hearted and it’s only a 10/15 minute walk into town. The wine etc which was waiting for us on arrival was a nice touch. You can walk out of the villa straight up the mountain trail behind it along olive groves & more stunning views. We will return!

We had a great stay at Casa Verde with our 15 year old son after a long wait due to Covid causing a rescheduling. Thank you to the owners, Sue and Neal for their flexibility and great communication. The views over Soller were amazing. The outside space was great with table, chairs and sun loungers with cushions. The pool was spot-on. The villa itself is perfectly laid out, comfortable, spotless and very well equipped. We really appreciated the beer, wine and milk - thank you! The aircon was very much needed as it was in the high 30s for our stay. The previous notes on the access road which Sue and Neal flag up are really worth taking notice of. We had a Corsa and my husband and I agreed that a Fiat 500/Ford KA would be a better size as we inched up and down the road. All good though and you do get used to it. The only thing I'd say is that if someone has any injuries (knees/hips/feet etc) then walking up and down the steep access road is quite something even for the fit, especially in the August heat - just something to bear in mind. Though the joy of this is that you have no one beyond Casa Verde and you get the views, so it is worth it! Plus, you could easily stay at Casa Verde without a car as the town square is only a 10 min walk and the bus service is so easy to navigate. We used the tram to the port, bus back, took the train to Palma (really worth a visit) and could easily have used the bus service to explore the surrounding beautiful villages, but used the car instead. All in all a 5/5 stay!

Great communication with the owner, and the property is even lovelier than it looks in the photos. Soller is a beautiful town with lots to do, and we managed to get everywhere via public transport. Relaxing around the pool was made even easier because of the welcome shade from perfectly placed trees and parasol. The view over the hills is astounding! We are already saving up for another visit - very highly recommended.

Incredible villa with stunning views, walks and treks on doorstep. Everything you need and more (love the coffee machine). Don’t ignore the car advice, we returned our normal sized hatchback for a fiat500 on day 1. Fabulous place. Will be back.

We had a lovely holiday, in this delightful villa. The view is jaw-dropping and location great for those wanting to enjoy the cafes and restaurants of Soller, without the need to drive. As warned, the ascent to the property was a little challenging, but my husband negotiated it confidently by the second day (n.b. a smaller car is essential!) A faulty coffee machine was fixed during our stay and the owners were always responsive. Our only real issue was the difficulty of accessing VRBO’s app while in Soller and the washing machine which appeared to have a mind of its own!

Our little family of 4 (two small kids) had a great week. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The view is fantastic! The hosts are both responsive and nice. Highly recommend it!

A smashing little bungalow overlooking Soller with amazing views. Very quiet and as this is the highest propery up the hillside no one overlooks you at all. Not that the property overlooks anyone else unless you count fruit trees. reached by a incredibly narrow and steep road ( booked a fiesta but got given a new polo which is wider and lead to some colourful language when going up the road- in hindsight i wished I had either parked at the bottom and walked up - the walk takes 180 seconds walking normally OR booked a small automatic - next time next time :). Anyway the seclusion within 3 minutes of a town (it was a like magic trick) and the views made it all worth it.

We have just returned from This lovely little villa. The views are outstanding and only 10 Minutes from town. The pool and outdoor areas are truly fabulous and get the sun all day.

We had a great time in this villa, which is a short walk to all the restaurants and shops in Soller. The villa has a wonderful view over the town and is south facing.

Very nice location, charming house.

We stayed in the house for a week and it is indeed a lovely house with a spectacular view over Soller. Both the house and the garden are well maintained. Sue and Neil are great hosts, very serviceminded and quick to respond to inquiries. Renting the house was therefore a 5-star experience, except for one thing: Upon arrival the pool was slightly hazy and greenish, not clear blue as you would expect. It became worse the day after and we contacted Sue. Sue asked Pedro, her local ‘hand’, to fix it. He came the next day, but couldn’t fix it, so technicians from Palma was sent for. Another day went by, the technicians came and changed the chlorinator, but in the meantime the pool had become really green and turbid and our son had experienced nausea after swimming so we had simply stopped using the pool. We were told that the renewed chlorinator would clear the water within a day but in reality it took three days and only on the last day of our stay the pool was acceptable clear and blueish. Sue and Neil did what they could to help on distance, but for us a functioning pool is an important asset of a house like this, and the pool problems marred the happiness with our stay. Had it been a freak accident nobody could be blamed, but in our opinion a calcinated chlorinator is a predictable problem that could have been prevented with regular water testing and checking of the chlorinator. Despite that we still want to give four stars because of the other qualities of the house.

My husband, sister-in-law and I stayed at this beautiful house in June. Everything worked perfectly; from the very nice and service minded owners, the wonderful house with great location and the easy-going and efficient process. We will definitely go back and recommend to any family of four.

We have just returned from our 2 week stay at Casaverde in beautiful Sóller. The villa has an amazing panoramic view over the town and the mountains beyond. We sat each morning admiring the view and watching for the old wooden train to depart for Palma. The villa was perfect for our family of four. A shaded table for breakfast. A great pool. Comfy sun loungers, and air conditioning in every room. There is a bakery and small supermarket a few minutes away. The town square is a 15 minute walk where there is a great choice of restaurants. Try Ca’n Pintxo for great tapas. We shall return.

Lovely week long stay at this property. The hill up to the property is steep but worth the views that you get from the terrace/pool area. Would love to come back some time!

We absolutely loved our week at Casa Verde - we all wishEd we had two weeks instead of the one as it was incredibly hard to leave! The property was perfect for our family of 4 with a 6 and 9 yr olds. It had everything you may need to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We loved how secluded and private it was yet a stones throw away from Soller. We used taxis a lot for local trips and they were so cheap so if the steep drive seems daunting - taxis are a real option. We had a hire car and whilst the first run up to the property was tricky we flew up the rest of the week with no problems. Thanks Neal and Sue for hosting us - if we return to Mallorca we mist certainly will be returning to Casa Verde - perfect location to explore the west coast!!!! If you stay here you will not be disappointed!

An excellent week over Christmas. The house is situated with amazing views over Soller and had everything we needed for a very relaxing holiday. Soller is a great location for hiking.

The villa was very clean and had everything we needed. The terraced area has amazing views out over Soller and surrounding hills and you can hear the toot of the tram in the distance. Pool is a good size and there is eating and sunbathing areas which are very picturesque. Only downside for me was the steep hill we had to walk up to the villa - think we were all fitter by the time we went home!

Having stayed in a number of villas around Sóller over the years, the villa was in a great spot overlooking the town. Pool was a good size for a swim. Road up to villa was as steep as described but take away any issues by just parking at bottom of hill and walking up. In fact don’t bother with car as everything you need is walking distance and can get taxi to port Sóller or train. Overall great place to stay

We spent a most enjoyable week at Casa Verde. The elevated location with views across the valley was superb and the villa was clean and comfortable. We would definately recommend a stay here and hope to return again ourselves. There is quite a steep hill up to the property but it is only a short walk. We found it a good way to justify an extra helpng in the lovely restuarants of Soller and the privacy and views from the villa more than made up for the effort.
